My mother, age 99, just spent two weeks at Sonata Viera assisted living while my husband and I took a vacation. There cannot be a more caring staff anywhere. She was loved and watched over, and cared for with perfection. While their jobs entail caring for residents, the obvious love shown by staff for residents is from their hearts. The facility has the appearance of both a lovely hotel and a home. Furnishings are elegant, carpets are subdued and spotless. While many assisted living facilities have medicinal or food odors, Sonata Viera has none of these. From the beginning of our approach to Sonata in hopes of securing respite care to our bringing home my mother, every single text or phone call I made was answered immediately. My mother’s first night there, she took a fall. I was called with all the details of the fall and the care taken for her. Never was there a doubt of the quality of care she would receive. I highly recommend Sonata Viera for anyone considering respite or long term assisted living for themselves or for a loved one.

UPDATE: Dad has been here a year and while his health has been like a EKG read (up and down), the care of the staff has been phenomenal! He has gotten out and enjoyed the movies, BINGO and we can’t forget Sunday Sundaes . There’s been the Easter bunny, Elvis, Hawaiian dancers, theme days/weeks (Mexican, Italian, Chinese to name a few). You never know what you’re going to get when you walk in the doors. But most of all you’ll get a caring, loving staff; and these are the important things at this stage of life fun, love and comfort! ’• The staff at Sonata Viera are phenomenal. They work with the residents and families to make living comfortable and easy. Every day is a celebration- literally. If there is a holiday, everyone is celebrating! My Dad wasn’t able to move in right away because of health issues but the kindness and care to work with me to make it work was great. Rachel was great holding my hand through the process and she hasn’t stopped because once you’re there . You are family! I can’t recommend them enough.

My family and I couldn't be more grateful for the excellent care our grandmother receives at this senior living facility. The staff and leadership team are incredibly patient, kind and attentive, they truly treat my grandmother as if she is a member of their family. My grandmother was extremly reluctant of the facility however, she has become involved in the incredible amount f activities. This brings me peace of mind knowing my grandmother is safe and comfortable and truly cared for. Highly recommend for the teams compassion and professionalism.

We have been nothing short of thrilled with the welcoming environment and family friendly atmosphere at the Sonata. Our mother is loving her new home, the socialization and engagement is exactly what was needed. From a "welcome" sign upon our first visit and tour a few months ago, to the desk staff personally greeting family members by name during visits. It was clear that the Sonata leadership team is personally involved in each decision to move a family member into Sonata. Rachel and Destiny assisted our family with the transition and were available 24/7 to be sure the transition was positive. We will be forever grateful for the care and comfort that has been provided and are extremely pleased with the decision.

What a Wonderful , financially affordable 'Late Life Blessing' for retired, aging Veterans who reguire enhanced health care and living assistance with varied Senior physical health, emotional, mental needs and handicaps! Sonata offers a literal "Adult Disney World'"of enriching social experiences, interaction, comradery and life/activity involvement with other Military Personnel and devoted Service and Health Staff. The Community Relations Director (Rachel McLain) is nothing short of a caring (yet disciplined) 'Angel in Carnate' who astutely evaluates the entry requirements and eligibility of all applicants and manages the ongoing need assessments and care of all facility residents.

I just transitioned my 89 and 90 year old parents into Sonata Viera Assisted Living and could not have asked for a better experience. It was very stressful to make the decision and Rachel was wonderful in assisting me with the transition. She is absolutely amazing at her job. Every single person we I have dealt with at Sonata has been patient, understanding, extremely helpful, kind and thoughtful. Margaret, Destiny, Lindsay and Joshua have been extremely helpful in making the transition seamless for my folks. I am forever grateful to have my folks in a safe and caring environment.

Following extensive research of Assisted Living Facilities in the area, we selected Sonata Viera for my father. It was absolutely the right choice! As difficult as it is moving a parent out of their home and into a community, the staff at Sonata went out of their way to make him feel welcome. They have been simply fantastic to work with, honest, professional, and caring. Special recognition goes to Rachel McClain who is so much more than a sales coordinator - she's been with us every step of the way and continues to check in and make sure we are informed and updated - and the Executive Director, Destiny, who took extra time (after hours!) to work through all of the admission paperwork with my mother. These two women, and all of the other staff members we've dealt with, have been excellent! The facility itself is comfortable, clean, and modern, and the residents are active and happy. Thank you!

I would like to praise Sonata assisted living in Viera, for all of their assistance in helping to get my Mom into their facility. My Mom was resistant, as most elderly people would be, (and their staff, especially Ms. Rachel McClain) to take the time to talk personally to my Mom, to make her feel comfortable and safe. At this point in time, Mom is actually looking forward to being transferred to Sonata from a rehab nursing home tomorrow morning. I’m so excited for our Mom, and her new place, where she’ll feel welcomed and be well taken care of. Their staff, everyone of them, are super friendly and want to help in any way they can. We went to, and interviewed every facility around our area in Melbourne Fl. Several were very nice, and we considered a few, but Sonata fit the bill perfectly!! If your searching for a place for a family member, please don’t overlook Sonata.

My father stayed there for nearly 6 months and the staff was wonderful. I was with my dad for most of the day: The food was good and the food staff was wonderful. When my dad asked for poached eggs he got them. When he could not get to the cafeteria, they brought food to him. The Medical Staff was wonderful and very helpful. Can't say enough about the CNA and MEDTECHS: When he passed on 1 OCT, the entire staff came to me and asked what they could do. The Executive Director, Destiny Badrak is the best. She brings a culture of helping people. I have seen the Executive Director serving food, changing diapers and taking out trash. I have seen her in at midnight: She leads by example and will work with you if you have any questions. She should have been in the Army. My family gives Sonata 6 stars: Very thankful my father, at 88, and an Army veteran spent his last 5 months of life in a caring place. As i left the staff on 1 OCT, I told them all I would be back in 20 years: We highly recommend. One other items, the concierge are the best. Mary, Danielle and Marg are the best. They are the first people you see as you come into the ALF: They know everything and can direct yoiu whereever you need. Very professionally run operation.

My 96 year-old Dad moved into Sonata Viera about 3 months ago. This is never an easy journey, but the the managing staff were so excellent and informative. Dad is a WW2 veteran and this seemed to be the perfect fit. All of the staff have been very helpful in making my Dad feel at home and me and my family feel he is safely cared for. They have called me right away if there were any concerns or issues. Sonata has a very caring atmosphere. The staff readily got to know my Dad and greet him by name. They are very kind and patient with him as they provide care. He enjoys the food very much and the food service is excellent. I can stop by and have meal any time I would like. He is now settled into the routine and we feel much better knowing that he has good nutrition, regular medication, and health care available when needed. There are excellent activities available and it is a safe location during hurricane season. I can't say enough positive about Sonata Viera. Jeff Hoy

My Army veteran father has been at sonata for about 4 years now. Over those years there has been some staff turnover. At first this concerned me, but the facility has been getting better and better. They treat my father well and they all know him on a first name basis. Also the events they have been hosting have been wonderful. The events are getting better and better. My father seems happy here and enjoys the staff.

Great Place for Dad. The staff treats him very well which makes me comfortable knowing that he is well cared for. We speak with him everyday and the facility encourages him to participate with others. I would recommend this ALF primarily because the senior staff makes a major effort to keep the place running smoothly. That is a major exception compared to other ALF's in the area.

My parents moved to Sonata Viera in March. My sister and I visited several different facilities. We both liked Sonata Viera best. The entire staff has been wonderful. My parents both loved it there. My dad just passed away and the staff was caring, comforting and compassionate. We then moved my mother from a 1-bedroom to.a studio. We needed to get it done quickly while my sister was still here from TX. Tonya and Matt worked hard to make that happen. Moving them to Sonata was the best decision we could have made on their behalf. The facility is well-maintained. It looked good to me when they moved there, but they recently renovated for a fresh, new look. Mom loves the food which is very important! Thank you, Sonata, for the care you provide from the dining staff to the aides, nurses and management. We appreciate you!

We moved my mother with memory issues there in August and the stay has been nothing but accommodating to my mother, her dog and my family. Everyone has made certain that her needs were met and guidance was provided throughout the transition. The facility has been decorated beautifully and has a home like feeling which is what you would hope for when you are placed in this situation with your parents.

Senior living with a zest for life! This community has vastly improved since it became Sonata Viera! The new management has made many improvements to not only the building but to the quality of living for the residence. In the last couple of months the morale of the staff and residents has increased tremendously! Sonata has brought in seasoned staff that provide a solid foundation of quality care and fresh new faces that are providing a renewed energy, changing the atmosphere of a previously drab facility. Although my loved one is not quite ready for senior living, Sonata Viera is my first choice when the time comes.
