From the very first day, the receptionists have greeted us with smiles and cheerfulness, immediately putting us at ease. Ashleigh was invaluable in helping us find the perfect apartment and ensuring all the necessary paperwork was completed smoothly. My stepmother has resided at Sunflower Springs for several years. She is in her late 90s, has extremely poor vision due to macular degeneration and is starting to have memory issues. While the campus is always clean and has excellent facilities, it is the staff that makes Sunflower stand out. Every one is pleasant, kind, and patient. They each make her feel special every time they interact with her. It is so comforting knowing that she is getting such loving care and attention in such a safe and caring environment.

Sunflower Springs is a great, loving and compassionate place for my Mom. Their communication is superb. The nurses, aides, and P.T. are fantastic. Michelle does a fabulous job! The food is delicious. Especially their homemade soup!

I've been search for a place for my 75 year old father for several weeks now. I have to say I was very impressed with Ashliegh Blackwell. She facilitated the tour and answered every question I had. Couldn't be more impressed with her and the facility. I got to meet one of the residents that was a WWII, 82nd ABN Veteran, which was icing on the cake. Thank you.

We moved my Dad into Sunflower Springs at Homosassa Springs in November. At 94 he had been living in an over 55 mobile home park but was looking for more interaction with other retires. The meals, laundry service and wonderful apartment were simply icing on the cake. Ashleigh Blackwell, Director of Sales, was amazing. From the moment we arrived for a tour, through the move-in, and now during his "honeymoon" she has made sure that his transition was smooth and trouble free. Dad enjoys the luxury of the dining room, he has been on a boat trip on the river and even sang in the choir during the Christmas holiday festivities. The staff are terrific, the building and grounds are kept spotless and there are plenty of on-campus activities. My sister and I are thrilled at the decision we made to move Dad to an assisted living. We believe that he has found a new "family" at Sunflower Springs. I highly recommend Sunflower Springs. We highly recommend Sunflower Springs. Our senior parents made the transition to Sunflower a week ago. We were impressed with Ashleigh's attention to detail and compassionate manner in working with our Parents. Transitions such as this can sometimes be very frazzling and confusing for senior citizens (as it was in our case). Ashleigh and the Sunflower Springs staff (all shifts) helped our parents transition quiet well. We had a few hiccups (no fault of Sunflower Springs) that were quickly and appropriately attended to, with one of our parents being brought back to Sunflower within 5 minutes. We were very impressed!!! The activities, the resident introductions, the transportation services for residents, the assistance given to residents and families is incredible! SF also helped us tremendously in ensuring that our parents move in to SF (boxes, beds, etc) were managed without confusion. We HIGHLY recommend Sunflower to any families considering moves for their parents. SF deserves beyond a 5 star rating and would have gotten a 10 star had that been available. And yes, our parents also love SF.

We moved my father into Sunflower Springs after my mother passed. The whole experience was wonderful starting with Ashleigh from the sales staff to everyone on-site that day. All the staff was happy to help and welcome my father to the facility. The residents were friendly and eager to make friends.

My Dad is n stage COPD. We looked at three facilities in the area and the one that was the most reasonable, flexible and wonderful staff that make you feel like family was Sunflower. I just can't say enough on how welcoming they are and he was an intake on Friday. I'm a hover daughter and want to insure my Dad is well taken care of...I just can't tell you how comfortable he feels here and how attentive the staff is. He has been in skilled nursing and hospitals for 4 months straight. He is in a place where he can feel independent and with support. Hats off to Karla and Michelle, Steve and Angela for their care and attention! Please check out this facility!

I don’t ever leave reviews but I was more than happy with this astablishment. I toured here for my grandmother, I spoke with the administrator Karla, I have never met anyone in my life that was more helpful and kind. She is such a sweetheart. This whole process trying to find a place for a loved one to be cared for is so stressful and scary; Karla gave me peace of mind. She was so helpful with the pricing and walked me through all of the care. The staff is super friendly and they were constantly trying to help in any way possible. This is a beautiful place! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place for their loved ones to be cared for! 🙂

to me they are all friendly and very into the details of the care and cleanliness of the facility. the staff is quick to fix any issues in the building and clean any hazards immeadly and if you want ask anyone who lives there they will tell you.

I spent a week in Florida visiting my mom and I cant say enough good things about this place! All the employees are so nice and my mom is happy. That is all I need or want for my mom. As long as she is happy and well taken care of I am happy. Feel blessed that my dad was abke to convince her to move here before he passed. Thanks so much!

Dont know what I like more, the ice cream shop or the bar at happy hour. The Chef and the Staff arent bad either. For this area this is the spot! If its your time this is the place. My wife and I recently visited my parents for the first time since they moved to Sunflower Springs. I must tell you that we thought the facility was great. I cant recall meeting one staff member that wasnt cheerful and ready to help out at a seconds notice. We enjoyed participating in several of the activities that were scheduled while we were there (jeopardy and Bingo) and we had a great time with the participating residents. As we live in the Northeast and are unable to visit our folks that often I have to let you know that it provides great comfort to us in knowing that they are here and in good care! Thanks Sunflower Springs and everyone that works there that makes this facility so warm and inviting.
