My 89 year old mother is a resident at Sunflower Springs in Homosassa and is very happy. My mother was unable to live on her own anymore and Sunflower Springs has enabled her to get the care that she needs and still live a vibrant lifestyle with all the activities they provide, All the staff have been great taking care of my mom. Thanks to Ashleigh and all the other staff from all the departments that keep things running safely and smoothly over there.

Mom has been a resident for almost a year. From the front desk all the way thru the kitchen staff, cleaning staff and medical staff they are caring, attentive and fun! Honorable mentions are Adam (Director), Ashley (sales), James (Maintenance), Lynn (Activities), Lynn (Administrative asst), Deb (Housekeeping), Deanna (Culinary). Food is always fresh and delicious. They have activities all day and outings, and celebrate all holidays. Also have a choir whom perform twice a year for those interested. If you have the means it can't be beat!

From day one the entire staff has been very responsive to any of my family’s needs, questions and concerns. Special thanks to Ashleigh, Adam, Paula, Dee, Lynn, DiDi, Elaine, Tammy and Jamesmy apologies to anyone that I missed. The entire kitchen staff is always warm and welcoming every time I join my Ma for a meal. The food is great and the daily happy hour and all of the extra activities and special events are always wild, exciting and fun! As emotionally challenging it was to put my Ma in an assisted living facility, my only wish is that if my son ever needs to relocate me to an assisted living place, that it will be half as nice as Sunflower Springs at Homosassa. My mom is very comfortable and feels safe being at Sunflower Springs after leaving her beautiful home of nearly 40 years. I feel relieved knowing just how well my mom is being looked after. I love this place! Everyone makes you feel so welcomed, everyone greets you with a smile. An absolute gorgeous building equipped with a movie theatre, bar, spa and so much more. The food is really good too! All of the residents seem very happy with the care and attention that is provided to them. Some of them will sit out on the rocking chairs on the front porch and greet you as you enter

The staff at Sunflower is amazing. They are so friendly and caring. The community is small enough that the entire staff knows every resident and makes them feel cared for and special. They sponsor many social gatherings and celebrations for the residents to keep them engaged. My mom in particular never misses a happy hour!

I want to recognize the staff and leadership team, my grandmother was looking for an ALF and Ashleigh was so knowledgeable, caring and welcoming to our family when we were considering assisted living. Ashleigh answered all of our questions and gave us the information my family needed if they needed to make a decision. The facility was so clean and gave a very warm welcoming environment.

I was looking into Assisted living for my sister with dementia. We were very impressed with your facility! We live in PA and come to FL in the winter. We even thought of moving to FL if my sister was happy there! HOWEVER, let me explain my reason for the poor rating. I spoke to Ashleigh at the end of August and told her of our decision to come to FL probably around the end of October. She assured me that would not be a problem and I told her I would be tying up things in PA during that time. BUT I made numerous phone calls, emails and texts to get some more details about this move BUT my phone calls were IGNORED! However she did answer one text and said she was in a meeting and would call me later that day -- NOTHING! I was very upset and certainly changed my opinion of your facility! I dont know if I said something wrong to Ashleigh but I cant understand why she GHOSTED me like she did! Needless to say, I am looking for another facility and WILL NOT recommend your facility to anyone!!

I was there for a month respite living. I loved the 1 bedroom apt I was given. The staff and residents were wonderful people. My service dog was treated well. I highly recommend looking into this place. Also, it was across the street from my favorite places Ollie's and Cattle Dog.

My stepmother has resided at Sunflower Springs for several years. She is in her late 90s, has extremely poor vision due to macular degeneration and is starting to have memory issues. While the campus is always clean and has excellent facilities, it is the staff that makes Sunflower stand out. Every one is pleasant, kind, and patient. They each make her feel special every time they interact with her. It is so comforting knowing that she is getting such loving care and attention in such a safe and caring environment.

We love Sunflower Springs in Homosassa! Everyone that works there goes beyond their job responsibilities to give love, attention and care for each person staying there. They're "family" and everyone feels that way. There are so many activities and special events that there's something there for everyone! The special events and holidays are so exciting, from the decorations throughout to the special themed snacks, meals and desserts. Plus the meals are very delicious! They remember your favorite food items and just how you like it cooked. Special attention is given at each meal. They also pay special attention to the veterans that live there and they honor them through the special events and to a Hall of Honor where the veterans photos are hung. My family feels the love the staff at Sunflower Springs gives and we couldn't be happier. We appreciate each and every one of the staff and the care they give!

Sunflower Springs is a great, loving and compassionate place for my Mom. Their communication is superb. The nurses, aides, and P.T. are fantastic. Michelle does a fabulous job! The food is delicious. Especially their homemade soup!

We moved my father and stepmom into the facility one year ago. The staff has been great with caring for both of them. If we need to reach out to staff with requests they’re always responsive to us even when it’s after hours. PAULA, who is in charge of the nursing staff has always been very accommodating. Staff downstairs at the reception desk is also great.

I've been search for a place for my 75 year old father for several weeks now. I have to say I was very impressed with Ashliegh Blackwell. She facilitated the tour and answered every question I had. Couldn't be more impressed with her and the facility. I got to meet one of the residents that was a WWII, 82nd ABN Veteran, which was icing on the cake. Thank you.

We moved my Dad into Sunflower Springs at Homosassa Springs in November. At 94 he had been living in an over 55 mobile home park but was looking for more interaction with other retires. The meals, laundry service and wonderful apartment were simply icing on the cake. Ashleigh Blackwell, Director of Sales, was amazing. From the moment we arrived for a tour, through the move-in, and now during his "honeymoon" she has made sure that his transition was smooth and trouble free. Dad enjoys the luxury of the dining room, he has been on a boat trip on the river and even sang in the choir during the Christmas holiday festivities. The staff are terrific, the building and grounds are kept spotless and there are plenty of on-campus activities. My sister and I are thrilled at the decision we made to move Dad to an assisted living. We believe that he has found a new "family" at Sunflower Springs. I highly recommend Sunflower Springs. We moved my father into Sunflower Springs after my mother passed. The whole experience was wonderful starting with Ashleigh from the sales staff to everyone on-site that day. All the staff was happy to help and welcome my father to the facility. The residents were friendly and eager to make friends.

My 90 year old father stayed at Sunflower Springs for 5 days of respite care. The facility and people were amazing. Everyone from the cafeteria to security would bend of backwards to make him happy. When he eventually needs L/T assisted living, it's an easy decision for us! Thanks again to everyone at Sunflower Springs for how you treated my dad.

I don’t ever leave reviews but I was more than happy with this astablishment. I toured here for my grandmother, I spoke with the administrator Karla, I have never met anyone in my life that was more helpful and kind. She is such a sweetheart. This whole process trying to find a place for a loved one to be cared for is so stressful and scary; Karla gave me peace of mind. She was so helpful with the pricing and walked me through all of the care. The staff is super friendly and they were constantly trying to help in any way possible. This is a beautiful place! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place for their loved ones to be cared for! 🙂

My Dad is n stage COPD. We looked at three facilities in the area and the one that was the most reasonable, flexible and wonderful staff that make you feel like family was Sunflower. I just can't say enough on how welcoming they are and he was an intake on Friday. I'm a hover daughter and want to insure my Dad is well taken care of...I just can't tell you how comfortable he feels here and how attentive the staff is. He has been in skilled nursing and hospitals for 4 months straight. He is in a place where he can feel independent and with support. Hats off to Karla and Michelle, Steve and Angela for their care and attention! Please check out this facility!
