This is the most amazing facility for your loved ones. Their attention to detail shows the love that their employees have for the residents. When employees are happy at their job it shows in their faces and the way they treat each other and their guests. You can see that each staff member takes pride in doing their job with love and making every detail perfect for the residents. I definitely recommend looking into this community. Finally I would like to thank Stacey and Amanda for the tour and letting me spend time with their residents.

The facility is clean and bright. It doesn't feel sterile like other senior living spaces. The staff were incredibly friendly on my visit and the residents seemed happy and very involved. Stacey was knowledgeable and gave a great tour.

Valley Lakes has graciously opened their doors to allow the DC West Youth Sports Organization to host their monthly board meetings there as well as our Opening Day Fundraiser planning meetings. The staff is wonderful to work with! Help is always offered when we need it. Inside the facility is warm, inviting, clean and bright. The grounds are always kept clean and nice, too. We are extremely thankful and grateful for the collaboration and support that Valley Lakes offers to our youth groups!

Valley lakes generously opened their doors to DCWest Youth Sports Organization as a partner in community engagement and promotion of the benefits of fitness and well being across generations. We were lucky enough to get a tour of the grounds and were blown away by the amenities, rooms, activities, and sunny disposition of all the staff and literal bright atmosphere Valley Lakes offered. A genuinely welcoming environment offered in a small town community with so many great perks. I may have asked if they offer weekend getaways for tired parents?

Although they call this place “Valley Lakes Assisted Living” my sister and I call it “The Healing Place”. It was truly a place where her pain and anguish were alleviated. The staff and administration were the most compassionate and empathic healthcare providers we have ever come into contact with. We will always be so grateful to them for the respect and dignity they showed her and our family. We will never forget them.

We couldn't be happier with our whole experience thus far with Valley Lakes! The staff is absolutely incredible and not only made the moving process super simple, but they have then gone above and beyond to make sure my mom is transitioning into her new home. The facility itself is all newly remodeled and so inviting. Mom says, "It's like I live at a resort now!"

Moving mom to an assisted living facility has been a huge decision. I want what is best for her in the upcoming years. Carol was my first point of contact in making this decision and was amazing in assuring me that I was making the right decision for my mom. We have been in contact with many of the staff members during our process and everyone has been so kind and accommodating, and have helped to ease my worries. We move in Saturday and Carol has worked her schedule to be sure she is there to help with this transition. I am looking forward to having my mom experience life at Valley Lakes.

This beautiful community is always very friendly and welcoming when I visit. The staff and residents all seem so happy to be there. I also love the tranquil setting of the community with it's own landscaping but I think that the rural setting around the community just adds to its charm. Not only does everyone seem very well cared for, but the community is very clean and fresh smelling. It's a joy to visit!

In the past couple years, I have seen a great increase in the care and motivation from the staff. The team seems small at times but they will show you that the size of the heart in the staff much outweighs the amount of people on staff. You can just feel the better vibe (atmosphere) as soon as u come through the doors. The updating made it more of a home than ever.

Because of Labor Day, our regular scheduled worship service was delayed until Tuesday. Probably didn't get communicated to residents as only two showed up and that was by accident. Very difficult to work around Monday holidays.
