Tranquil Transistion Partners has been proud to have Brookdale Colonial Park among the communities we have had the pleasure of helping a senior move into. We had a client recently that we listed their home for 90days, and were able to advance him the funds to move into a community of his choice. We worked closely with his daughter to make sure all of her resources were lined up, and she understood exactly what she was looking for. With the advanced funds, it allowed them to make the move as soon as possible, and not have to wait until His home sold to afford moving in right away. When she informed Brookdale Colonial Park was the community of choice we were thrilled and quickly validated that choice. Her dad’s one bedroom is incredibly spacious, and he is now in an incredibly supportive environment where he has access to their great activities and attentive care and oversight. Their Executive Director, Sara, truly cares about the staff and the residents and their families. Her communication with us has been excellent, and she is very responsive to any questions and needs the family had during our out of the box initial move in process. Being from the industry, I can’t express how rare that is to find.

Went to a wonderful event called Smoke Wars on January 16. Everyone was so welcoming, kind and patient with all the visitors and with their residents. Not to mention all the great tasting food!

What a wonderful community! The large one bedroom apartments with kitchens are beautiful. All of the residents seemed happy and were being kept busy. Definitely worth a look when looking for a place for mom, dad or even yourself! Oh and Breanna was so nice and answered all my questions.

If there is an Assisted Living facility that you are looking to put your love ones. those that you really care about, this is the place "Brookdale Colonial Park." this is a beautiful facility with great staff, awesome amenities. One year ago, our family suddenly found ourselves searching for an assisted living residence for our parents. After touring several locations, we found Brookdale Colonial Park to be a great fit. Our family has been in the Sarasota area for over 40 years and the Brookdale Location is ideal. I have worked in the medical field for decades in Sarasota and the care and compassion that Brookdale Colonial Park offers is one of their strongest assets. We have another family member at a different assisted living facility and the care at that one does not come close to what our parents receive. The small family atmosphere that is at this location is comforting and makes for an easy transition from a private residence to community living. The staff are compassionate and honestly care about the residents.

The first thing you'll notice is that the residents at Colonial Park are at home! They take pride and ownership in their community. When you look around you see the friendships they've made with each other and with the staff. The activities director is amazing and really listens to what the residents want to do to and makes it happen and provides a full list of social and healthy activities! The longevity of the staff truly sets this community apart from the others. Colonial Park is a seasoned community with staff who have the knowledge & skill to provide excellent care, activity and engagement for your loved one! If you are looking for a place that your loved one can really feel the contentment of being home...look no further...Colonial Park - the home where the heart is!
