I am so happy with our Selection with Brookdale Oswego Springs, when my Mother needed this new Home. The Staff there has always been so helpful to her as well as our Family members. I must say, COVID has been the biggest Challenge for everyone and the Management and Staff always handled it so well. At first my Mom was not happy with having to Change from a long term Home to Assisted Living, but they won her over hands down. Now she calls them Home with Pride. I am so happy with this choice, and I hope this note gives a positive attitude to anyone needing help with precious family members.

The food is very good, the house keeping is very good, the staff are over all exceptional. Living here is home every day and I can't say enough about how great Brookdale, Oswego Spring really is the senior place to be.

My mother is one of the longest standing residents at Oswego Springs. Past management has been a problem but the current staff/management is caring, loving and responsive. The medical tech's are my angels! My mother is happy and content and I feel she is safe. I am a very hands on daughter and am there checking in on her 2-4 times a week so I have pretty good knowledge of the surroundings and happenings at this facility. As with ALL facilities, loved ones should always be checked up on at least twice a week by family members, as I have learned, things do change and unless your consistent with following up, you just won't know what's going on. I hope that Brookdale takes good care of the current management/staff so that this facility continues with the great care it is currently providing. Thank you to the current management/staff for watching after my mom. Its a tough job and you are appreciated!

My family recently looked at this facility for our mom. We were impressed by the staff at Brookdale Oswego Springs - they were responsive, kind and the food director, Susan, is awesome! And a shout out to Chelsea May, the sales director, who was able to answer all questions in a timely manner and coordinate meetings with the team via Zoom and FaceTime.

I’ve lived at Brookdale Oswego Springs for 8 years & have been 100% satisfied with my experience here or I would have moved elsewhere. When I moved in I was in bad shape physically as I could barely walk on my own, fell often & staff had to help me get up. The attention & help I received from all of the staff here was, & continues to be, outstanding. They are always thoughtful & helpful. For the last 6+ months the country has been in a pandemic with long term care facilities among the most susceptible to getting COVID-19. This facility managed that challenging, difficult situation so well that no resident has tested positive & we’ve recently been tested twice. Additionally, at the same time, the management & staff here faced yet another challenging situation. this location in PDX has been under a hazardous air quality for the last week or so because of the worst forest fires Oregon has ever experienced. All of this has changed the way we live day to day & staff adjusted extremely well to ever-changing rules and expectations. In spite of all of this, the Executive Director, Scott Delorenzo, has kept all the residents well informed so we were aware of what to expect in this ever changing, unique environment.

I met with several staff members of this community in an effort to find a new home that would meet my parents needs. They were so kind to us all. Although my parents needs exceeded what this community could provide (mom needed memory care services), I am so grateful for the additional time they spent with us, providing information, insight and alternative options so my parents could remain living together with their differing needs. In addition to the in-person meetings, Chelsea and Scott communicated with me after hours on several occasions to address our questions. They went above and beyond to help my parents feel special and provide us guidance and support. Oswego Springs is truly amazing!!

I feel compelled to write about the wonderful care and services my mom has received here since we selected Oswego Springs as her new home. We have witnessed countless acts of kindness to not only my mom, but the other residents. The activities program is so full of life and this is evident every time we visit her. Kudos to the very caring staff and associates at this community! Highly recommended choice!

Ive been living at Oswego Springs for over two years and have witnessed several changes during that time. While what seems just a short time ago I wouldnt have dreamed of or considered living in a care facility, but the aging process and various illnesses will lead one to that eventuality. I believe the organization has improved over the time spent here and it now seems a stability has occurred due to excellent management skills employed by the Executive Director, Scott Lorenzo. Our receptionists Kiki Sharp and Karen Andrews, both go beyond the call to ensure residents are cared for. The Pandemic has increased the responsibilities for all management and staff, but they have carried on in spite of the added burden and are doing an excellent job. All in all I would recommend this facility to anyone considering moving a loved one to a home where they will be given the attention they seek. L.M. English

I have lived at Oswego Springs for about two months, I think that the food is very good. I also enjoyed our painting class, I like the grounds and being outside. I like all the caregivers and have made new friends. Its nice place and I would recommend it.

I have been a resident at Brookdale Oswego Springs for a year. The staff have been helpful and friendly. I leave with fond memories of both staff and many residents. In fact, I am moving to another Brookdale location to be near my grandkids but plan to visit my friends.

This place is just what my dad needed and has made his stay as good as it can get. There’s been a few minor obstacles but nothing impossible. I would definitely recommend brookdale to others.

My brother-in-law spent his last years here, some of his best years! They offer gardening, art classes, games, cards, frequent bus tours, invite residents families to dinner monthly. After a lovely meal, there is live music. We even had our family Christmas gathering there in the Malt Shop one year! They really keep the residents content. Staff that is engaging and caring.

My husbands brother spent his last couple years on earth here at Oswego Springs.He loved it every day--so many things to do, very nice neighbors, such caring staff. They invite the residents families to come for dinner every month, and there was always entertainment provided. What a wonderful way to encourage family involvement. Pool, cards, gardening, outings, afternoon snacks, exercise classes, art classes, library, on site barber, puzzles, board games, excellent food--where do I sign up??! Its a beautiful place to call home, and were so glad Del got to live his last years there.
