I am a placement advisor, and I placed my own parents into Windermere Estates. Location and cost were of primary concern to us initially, but I’ve been impressed with the care that the staff has provided as well. My mother’s health had been failing and we actually placed her on hospice very suddenly, just a day or so after moving them in. The team at Windermere didn’t miss a.beat and immediately stepped up to the plate to accommodate our needs and the rapid change in my mothers condition. All the while, they were gracious to us and surrounded my dad with attention and comfort and care. We lost my mom just days into their stay, and everyone on the team was very compassionate and loving to all of us, especially my sweet dad. In the weeks since all of this happened, everyone “ from from the dining team to the concierge and everyone in between - has been so caring and comforting to my dad. Our family is so pleased and grateful. Windemere is and has been a godsend for us.

I would give the food an A+ well prepared and variety. Care Givers for the most part very caring and gentle. Take pride in their work. And help whenever the see A resident in need without being tod to help. The facility is kelp clean and everything always works as is suppose to or our maintenace director will get right on it. The enviroment is all ways comfortable. There is always an activity of some kind for the residents to enjoy. I found the Executive Director to be very concerned in addressing the complaints of residents immediately . She is always smiling and no matter how busy she may be she always takes time to listen and makes you feel as if you are the only one she cares about at that time.

Came here after a severe leg injury and complicated surgery. Management was outstanding and facilitated my move in. Medical care and therapy was excellent to the extent I went from a wheelchair to walking normally. Food was very acceptable and served three times daily. Residents may eat in the dining hall or have meals delivered to their room. I highly recommend this facility to anyone needing long term care.

The positive changes are palpable, thanks to the new directors who have come together to form an incredible team. A huge credit for this turnaround goes to Raquel, the Executive Director. She is extremely welcoming, and her leadership has been the clear driving force in building such a strong and effective team. You can feel the positive energy she has brought to the community. Rebecca in the sales department is an absolute gem. She is deeply compassionate with the residents and a genuine joy to work with. Additionally, Sawarj has been a fantastic recent addition. Her communication is excellent, and she collaborates seamlessly with other providers, which makes a huge difference. I can't say enough about the positive new direction at Windermere Estates. My husband and I placed my mother-in-law in Windermere Estates senior living, Fallbrook location, approximately 9 months ago. We visit her 2 to 3 times a week and have had plenty of time to evaluate the staff and the facility. We both agree the staff go above and beyond taking care of my mother-in-law. Without fail, every single member of the Windermere staff has been phenomenal, keeping her room clean, doing her laundry, keeping her busy with morning exercises and activities throughout the day. The dining room is very nice with a diverse menu and good healthy food. In summary, we would not hesitate to refer anyone to this facility. After each visit, we leave knowing she will be well taken care of, especially knowing the staff is well trained in dealing with individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia which my mother-in-law has had for several years.

I can’t imagine moving my family anywhere else!

My mom has dementia and has been in a couple of assisted living communities over the past three years. Currently, we are looking for a new place for her to improve her quality of life and sense of purpose. Recently, after reconnecting with a former Executive Director we had a positive experience with, we discovered Windermere Estates off Fallbrook in the Houston area. We were unaware that it primarily functions as an assisted living community. This review will share my thoughts from the tour, and I will either update this review or create a new one after my mom has lived there for a few months. My wife, my mom, our third-party caregiver, and I visited to check out the facility. We were warmly greeted by the friendly receptionist at the front desk, and soon after, we met the executive director, Raquel, with whom we had a good experience in the past at a different community. The lobby was clean, peaceful, and inviting. We were escorted into a conference room, where we chatted with Raquel for over an hour”it felt like we were already considering moving my mom in. Raquel then took us on a tour of the facility, and I was pleased to see that the entire place maintained the inviting atmosphere of the lobby. Everything was clean, had a pleasant smell, and featured friendly guests and staff. During our visit, my mom was invited to have lunch, which included shrimp Alfredo, while we continued our conversation with Raquel. We shared our concerns about her current facility and learned that Windermere primarily serves as an assisted living community. My mom is in memory care at her current facility, and we were uncertain if assisted living would be a good fit for her again. This left us a bit disappointed. After my mom finished her lunch, which she thoroughly enjoyed, she and her caregiver rejoined us, and we left shortly afterward. All of us departed feeling somewhat down because Windermere Estates felt like such a breath of fresh air. The facility had recently been updated and was beautiful, and the management and staff could not have been more accommodating. To my surprise, later that evening, I received a text message from Raquel. She mentioned that she had discussed our situation with her supervisor and proposed a full assessment of my mom, noting that she is not considered an elopement risk due to being in a wheelchair. Raquel invited us back for an in-house nurse to assess my mom. We returned the following day, and after a thorough and personable assessment, the management team expressed confidence in their ability to manage my mom’s care and extended an invitation for her to become a resident. The pricing was surprisingly reasonable as well. Now, I have completed the paperwork and given our notice to vacate our current facility. We look forward to moving my mom in as soon as possible. Raquel, Lukemon, and the entire staff at Windermere Estates have impressed us with their kindness and professionalism. Thank you, Raquel and staff, for everything so far. I look forward to the next step in this challenging journey my mom is facing, thanks to all of you. See you soon!

My Mom has been a resident at Windermere Estates for 4 years. It has always been the best place for her but I’ve noticed a marked improvement since Raquel Medina became Director there. Raquel is the most involved and attentive Director I’ve seen there in 4 years. She interacts with the residents and families with a sincere concern and an interested demeanor. I’ve not seen that at this facility until now. Thanks Raquel for a breath of fresh air. Kudos also go out to Lukman who is the medical care director and a real professional and who was such a great help as Mom was recently transitioning back home from a brief hospitalization. He has been invaluable keeping up with her ever changing needs. Thanks also to Ruth Ann who helped us change Mom’s room to one more comfortable and serviceable. In fact the entire staff has been wonderful and loving those they care for.

We began looking for an Assisted Living facility for my parents, who are 91 and 93 and were still living in their own home, but were needing some help. After researching and touring about a dozen facilities near us, with none of those checking all our boxes, we were referred to Ruth Ann Chase at Windermere by Senior Living Specialists. After our first visit with Ruth Ann, we knew we had finally found exactly what we were looking for- an Assisted "home" for our parents!! Ruth Ann was a godsend who met with us as often as we needed, answered all our questions, allowed us to text or call her anytime of day or night and always answered back quickly!! We LOVE Windermere!! Ruth Ann, and ALL the staff, and especially Holly, the activities director, truly care for the residents as a family, and treat them with respect. My parents were delighted with the spaciousness of their room (they expected tiny!). They love the activities offered, and the Med Techs are SOOO kind to them. They are VERY happy with the food prepared by Chef Robert!! We know we have made the right choice with Windermere. We are very thankful for Ruth Ann, and the staff at Windermere, for all the care and love they shower on my parents.

I was told they would keep my mother active, but she is left in her room most of the day alone. They are friendly enough, but very disorganized.

I moved my 78 year old father in to Windermere Estates 3 months ago after he was unable to care for himself. I have been pleased with the entire experience as the staff are super nice and helpful. I am contacted regularly by the Nurse Practitioner as to the care provided and an additional care that he may need. I see the Facility Director there regularly during the week and some weekends. My dad is happy there and raves about how well the staff treat him which gives me the peace of mind knowing that he is well taken care of.

Deciding it was time that Mom needed a higher level of care than we could give her was one of the most difficult decisions I’ve made in my 70 years. The guilt and grieving can be overwhelming. Thank goodness I found Angela and Kelly at Elmcroft CyFair. I found them to be professional and caring. They understood I was looking for a place in which to trust my precious loved one and the incredibly difficult process to commit to a particular place. We only moved Mom a couple of days ago and there will be adjustments to be made as she settles into a new lifestyle. Based on the sincere care all the staff has displayed so far I feel comfortable Mom’s future is bright and her safety secure. If that changes I’ll let you know.

He gets to eat meals with his friends, all employees are always polite and professional, and seemed to genuinely care for the residents. This place is 10 times better than the other home my great grandmother was in. He is happy and I am happy with the decision they made to place him here.
