Paul and his team made my Mom feel at home. We had both my folks in other facilities in the past couple of years and none were as good and as affordable as MQ. Always checking in on Mom and keeping her engaged in all the activities was key for my Moms quality of life! We appreciate everything they have done to make her feel cared for. My 93 year old mother was a resident here for 13 months before her recent passing. My family was very pleased with the overall care she received. The staff were consistently caring and attentive—the direct caregivers, as well as the med techs, front desk staff, the transport driver, maintenance staff, medical director, executive director. Everyone! And they made us feel like we were part of their "organization family" too. They were so patient with my mother as her dementia progressed, answering her call button even when she mistakenly pressed it. The med techs, staff and medical director were excellent about letting us know if they noticed changes in mother's behavior that might indicate a new health issue. In her last days, they were all so compassionate and provided amazing guidance to help us through the process. My family is very grateful to the Morada staff.

MY SISTER LIVED ON JARASH THAT IS JUST BEHIND THIS PLACE. I JUST REMEBER HER TALKING ABOUT THE RESIDENCE THAT WERE FOUND WALKING IN HER AREA AND WERE I GUESS DIMENTIA. SAD WHEN THEY CAN LEAVE AND NOBODY WENT LOOKIN G FOR THEM. MY SISTER HAD TO CALL THEM TO COME AND GET THE POOR PERSON. ,MY SISTER HAS DIED OF CANCER NOW BLESS HER HEART. I AM 76 LOOKING FOR A PLACE NOW WITH CANCER AS WELL.

My mother was a resident at Morada Quintessence in early 2022, before she passed. Not only was my mother's care impeccable, the front desk staff, care staff, and management were incredibly compassionate with and accommodating to our family and friends. My mother moved to Morada after moving from another facility, and while at Morada, her bed sores cleared up, her incontinent needs were taken care of timely, she was bathed regularly, the kitchen staff worked hard to find her food she could eat, her room was kept clean, and her clothing and bedding were laundered regularly. In particular, the care staff never left my mother's room without making sure she was in reach of her call button (an issue we had at the previous facility she was in). The facility was secure from outsiders and COVID protocols were followed, keeping residents and visitors safe and healthy. Highly recommend this facility.

We had to make a difficult decision for a few months and looked all around Albuquerque. I feel this is the most amazing place we could have found. Some people look at you like you are annoying to be there -but not Morada. The staff has all introduced themselves to me-almost half the residents have said hello to my mother and the atmosphere is the best I could wish for. Food is great, security and privacy is awesome. Barbara Billy, well Billy is an asset and should be kept forever!

Morada renovated the whole interior. New management, new furniture , floors and Chef There bringing new residents!! This place is turning around! I am impressed!! The med tech are super amazing to residents with 24/7 care . Seems more of a family atmosphere now more then ever . I am loving the changes !! My family is extremely happy with the outcome!!

My mom lived here for almost two years. In the beginning, it seemed to be a pretty good place. It is no longer a good place to live. It is poorly managed -- the director responds to problems by shouting at the workers. The residents do not get showers on a regular basis. Medications are often missed or given off schedule. The caregivers are great but they are overworked, part of this is due to the lack of workers following the pandemic. Response to calls is very slow, sometimes taking more than 30 minutes. The food is not very good. I would definitely not put anyone with a memory problem in this facility. Residents need all their faculties to get the care they need and deserve.

There are so many wonderful aspects about Elmcroft of Quintessence! The community is beautiful, the staff is caring and friendly and truly show compassion to the residents. My mother-in-law has been here due to a fall... just weeks before the Covid pandemic. It has been a very challenging time for the residents and staff, but Elmcroft has exceeded our expectations in grace and professionalism. Our family does regular window visits and my mother in law always looks well groomed and rested with a big smile on her face. The staff checks on her several times a day and makes sure she has everything she needs. They truly go that extra mile in creating a positive and SAFE environment for the residents. They decorate their doors for birthdays, have parades and music guests (including Elvis) outside the lobby. Anytime we have any questions, the staff is always quick to respond and help. The peace of mind is priceless, I know my mother-in -law sleeps well and she is happy at Elmcroft.

I moved my mother into the community after a stroke and I have been very happy with the care that she has received and with the community overall. The staff are friendly and follow through when I ask for things. They assist my mother with anything she needs and respond quickly when she needs them. She wasnt eating well in the hospital or in rehab but is now eating at the community. She loves the food and the variety of offerings. I sleep better at night knowing that she is well taken care of by the staff.

After moving my mother from another assisted living facility, and seeing how Elmcroft is managed, I can truly say we made the right decision! The staff is very caring, and the facility is clean, quite, and well maintained. The food is well prepared and with large portions and presented nicely. Four months ago we moved my mother-in-law to Elmcroft of Quintessence and it has been life-changing. Elmcroft’s staff is caring and engaged. Every day they have social, intellectual and fun activities, plus exercise class. The grounds are beautiful and the outdoor seating is inviting. There are weekly happy hours, sing-a-longs, story telling, bingo, arts and crafts, discuss and recall time. And monthly helpful support group sessions for families, led by a social worker. Since moving to Elmcroft, my mother-in-law is eating much better, is safe, active and social. And as for my husband and me, our life is better, too, knowing she is well cared for.

Quintessence is the top choice in the Albuquerque area. The building is well maintained and clean. The workers are quick to respond to residents needs and are well-trained and courteous. There are many activities and outings available. The food is good and served in a dining room that feels more like a restaurant. I would highly recommend Elmcroft for a parent or loved one.

This is a well-run facility staffed with friendly compassionate staff. Mom has been a resident since Jan 2016 and I have found the atmosphere and quality of caregiving exceptional. Wonderful, Clean, 5 Star, Homey Environmentsinging group goes to many places to entertain seniors. Elmcroft has to be my favorite place to come. The care givers and management are really helpful. The residents themselves seem happier and more engaged than at many places. The facility itself is beautiful; it is nice and clean and has a homey but elegant ambiance. It seems like a 5 Star hotel, I would bring my mother here to live and know she would be well attended.

My name is Patrick Burns, and I am the Director, Owner of Visiting Angels Senior Homecare in Albuquerque. We are a caregiving service that provides assistance with Activities of Daily Living for our elderly clients. We primarily care for clients in their own homes(including Independent Living); however, our caregiving staff frequent Assisted Living communities and homes when residents need extra personal care. In special cases, Skilled Nursing Facilities who need extra help from our Certified Nursing Assistants also contact us for extra help for their staff from time to time.With that being said, Elmcroft is an excellent Assisted Living community. They take great pride and concern in caring for their residents, and the clients who Visiting Angels have been fortunate enough to work with at the community are extremely satisfied with their living arrangements and care they receive at Elmcroft. I would also like to point out that they do a good job at getting their residents engaged in community activities! I would highly recommend this community to any family seeking outstanding care for their loved one(s).

Both a friend and a relative have lived here. Its a clean, well run establishment with caring people and staff. The price is fair, the CARE is superb, and if I need help with a loved one again I will recommend it. The activities are great, the outdoor gardens are delightful, dining room and food is excellent. Rooms are spacious, larger than most I have visited. 5 star in my opinion all the way. Manager Sheila is what makes it work! Shes a gem.
