We did a lengthy search for an assisted living facility that was located between Katy and Richmond so myself and my sister would be able to have quick access to my mom. After visiting 3 different facilities, all of different sizes and capacity, we settled on Vivid Life. The staff to resident ratio, room size, provided medical care and overall feel of the staff and administration felt like a good fit. Our mother suffers from dementia, diabetes, psoriasis and other long term health illnesses that require 24/7 care. She was previously at an independent living facility with added care included and always had issues, especially with UTIs. She was going to the ER multiple times a month or quarter. There was only so much the staff and the independent living could do. Vivid Life has proven to provide very good, trusting care with our 80+ year old mother. The UTI infections have slowed down. Her incontinence is being treated with dignity and care. The facility is huge and has a lot of great options. Comparing to a huge apartment style facility to a shared home, to a hospital type nursing care setting, this facility is the middle ground. It's the staff members that make this place the perfect fit for us. If it wasn't for their continued trust and care, we would not still be here.

I’m incredibly grateful for the compassionate care my mom has received at Vivid Life. From the moment she arrived, the staff has treated her with kindness, patience, and genuine respect. Cindy and Dami are wonderful and make you feel welcome the moment you walk in. The entire home is beautiful and has such a warm, caring atmosphere, and it’s clear the caregivers truly care about the residents and their well-being. The communication has been a refreshing change from past experiences. They truly listen and keep me informed, which means so much. Because of the care she’s receiving, this is the longest my mom has stayed out of the hospital in the last five months -a huge milestone. Knowing she’s in such a safe and caring environment gives me real peace of mind. Thank you to everyone at Vivid Life for treating my mom like family.

This place is a godsend! We were so lucky to find this assisted living facility for my mom in Richmond. The caregivers are very compassionate and Mary is a great cook! The grounds there are so peaceful and mom loves to go outside and enjoy the birds chirping and the wildflowers on the grounds. They are very good at accommodating mom’s needs-from diet to health issues. We’ve tried several other facilities but with Vivid Life, we know she is in good hands. This is so wonderful because we feel like she is well taken care of and we can enjoy our visits rather than having to fight fires all the time.

We moved my mother here from another assisted living facility, and VividLife has far exceeded all of our expectations. We looked at so many different facilities because the place we had our mother was not meeting our needs and we looked at so many different places and none of them seemed to stand out as anything GENUINELY different or better until we toured this place and immediately we could see that VividLife was different. The place just had a holistically loving and caring vibe that you could actually feel. The home is very bright and cheery but what sets it apart is the staff. We looked at plenty of other bright and cheery looking places but none of them were infused with the love and care that can only come from the people working there. The staff at VividLife worked so hard to make everything just right for my mother’s move, down to the tiniest detail. My mother is a terribly picky eater and her diet has been a real problem at any facility we had her in (she has been in 3 different ones) and they have been the only place that not only met her needs but far exceeded her exacting dietary demands. She keeps telling me how wonderful the food is, which is music to my ears because at every other place my mother was at, it was nothing but complaining about the food. Kayla (I’m not sure what her official job title is but she is in charge there) even went to H‘E‘B to get some pears for my mother when she found out she loved pears. That is the level of the special care my mother is getting. My mother is 83 and has started showing signs of dementia and so she has good and bad days and the days that are bad, she can be a bit difficult because she gets agitated when she is confused and the staff there at VividLife have been more than nice and caring, treating her with kindness and care even when she is having a difficult day. She is also a fall risk, due to her frailty and they have been so careful and watchful over her. My siblings and I are so happy to have found this place and my mother is very happy there. Our stress levels are so much better now. If you are looking for a place that ACTUALLY cares and shows it by their actions instead of just saying they care, this place is really the best. Excellent in every way.

Vivid Life Residential Care is truly outstanding! The friendly and caring staff go above and beyond to make everyone feel at home. The staff here provide round the clock care and ratios are as such, that residents receive the personal time, attention and care that they need. The staff that work here truly care about the residents and we couldn’t be more pleased with how well they treat the residents! The large home-style facility is incredibly spacious, situated on several acres, with plenty of room to walk indoors or enjoy the outdoor grounds. The amenities are good and include a fully converted multi-purpose indoor barn-room for entertainment, multiple cozy sitting/lounge areas and a wide-open kitchen that is inviting. Fresh cooked meals are made daily to suit resident's taste buds and health needs. The bedrooms come with various options as well to suit personal preferences and everything in the facility is really-really clean. The d©cor is up to date along with comfy furniture throughout. Making the decision to find a true care home for an elderly family member can be difficult but after having great experiences for the past year and a half, we are absolutely glad we found Vivid Life Residential Care for our mother! Truly a hidden gem that we highly recommend!

This place is excellent! Was looking for assisted living and memory care options for my clients. Kayla was amazing, the staff were welcoming, and the staff ratio was great. It felt like a resort and my clients loved it. Wait until you see the large windows and the swimming pool. I wanted to move in. Highly recommend.

If I could I would give them 100 stars. My mom who was in her 90's fell and broke her arm a few years ago and I tried to get my mom to go here as it seemed to me it was time for her to move to a place with no stairs and 24 hr. care. This place at the time was brand new and Jeanne and Kayla showed me the place twice and I just knew this was the place for my mom. Unfortunately at the time she would not hear of living anywhere but her own house. well , here it is a few years later and my mom is 95 now and has been diagnosed with Dementia so I contacted Kayla again. In my mind they were my first and ONLY choice especially from what I had seen from touring a few other places closer to my house. I wanted to put her in Vivid Life because it was a real nice place with a country setting and when you go talk with Kayla and Jeanne you can just feel the passion and determination they have for this place and the people who live there. Unfortunately they do not have a memory care unit which my mom requires so I had to put her in another place. Even though I couldn't put her there I assumed my dealings with this place were done and over. I couldn't believe it, even though they knew my mom couldn't live at Vivid Life apparently Kayla had been working behind the scenes to help me find another place and today I got an email from her letting me know she was still trying to help. ...... This just shows how these 2 ladies Kayla and Jeanne really care. I met them 2 times and I feel like they are friends. I hope if I'm Lucky enough to make it to an old age maybe I can live at Vivid Life. This place is exactly what I would want. ..... a quiet country setting with people working there who truly care.

We placed my Dad at Vivid Life just before Covid hit and we have not regretted it for a second. Jeanne and Kayla have taken care of Dad like family since day one. They are truly angels on earth!! If I could give them 10 stars I would! The facility has an at home atmosphere and is kept pristine daily. It is located in a renovated home on acreage, so serene. They keep me posted frequently with any needs that my Dad may have and promptly answer any concerns that I may have. My heart is so full of respect for these ladies for the work that they are putting in to care for their residents and protect them from any exposure to covid. Vivid Life has been the perfect choice for us and my Dad.

I have toured Vivid Life Residential Care twice in Richmond. Each time I have been impressed with Jeanne and Kayla. They are dedicated to make a difference in residential home care! Their home sits on a cozy 2 1/2 acres. The actual home is so welcoming, beautiful soothing colors, clean, modern, plenty of options to spread out and relax whether it is inside or outside, a great selection of rooms... One of my favorite rooms was the wide open kitchen. They provide home cooked meals that are prepared by their in-house cook. The food that I have sampled was delicious! Take the time to visit and personally visit with Jeanne and Kayla. You will quickly see and feel the difference of their services that they offer our community.

I toured this facility and fell in love. Vivid Life is so unique. Quiet surroundings, bright, cheerful , intimate and it is run and owned by an RN. Jeanne the owner decided to build this community based on her background in the industry and what she believed was a lack of good care for the elderly in a beautiful setting. So much detail is placed into everything she does. The rooms, activities, placing the patients needs first and incredible food surpasses anything I have ever seen. I would place myself or family here if the need arises one day. I believe this could very well be the gold standard of care for all to emulate in the future. I wanted to add to my previous review. The owners pay so much attention to detail that it was very important to provide an incredible dining experience for their residents. They interviewed a variety of chefs and had the public decide based on reviews of tastings who provided the best culinary experience for their residents. Now that is service!!

I do not have experience with relatives staying at this facility. However, after touring this facility and many others while looking for someone to recommend to a group of people I represent, I was extremely impressed with this facility. The staff were very professional and friendly, the location is wonderful for those who do not want to feel like they are living in a city, the rooms were spacious, clean and homely and the communal spaces were bright, clean and highly functional. I have recommended this facility to many others to tour and will continue to do so until they have no rooms left!

Visited this property to inquire within and was amazed at how much SPACE there is to this place! It feels like home the moment you step through the doors. The rooms are so spacious as well! A huge kitchen and entertainment area is such a plus! Both Jeanne and Kayla carry such professionalism and have answered all of my questions. We will definitely be keeping in touch!
