The Mansions at Sandy Springs Senior Independent Living has exceeded expectations. Mom, 85, moved in 6 mo ago. Mansions is like a luxury hotel. The staff have tons of patience & a genuine love for seniors. Katherine Fitzhugh, who sold us on our tour, excels at welcoming you, understanding needs, & listening. She is always positive & informative with a heart of gold. Debbie Brennan, a director with the perfect disposition, is extremely prompt, experienced, & professional in handling any & all questions. Aimee plans many activities, goes above & beyond, and pays attention to the details to make events special. Driver, Daryll, blessed with a patient & caring heart, keeps the residents safe, & manages those walkers & shopping bags too! Curtis handles many handyman & maintenance tasks, including making my mom's apt feel like home. Front desk-Susan, Joyce, Shawnee, Jared-greet you smiling & always offer help. I love that people are always around, but what I love most is that my mom is happy.

I toured the Mansions Sandy Springs as a possibility for my parent. Katherine F. was warm and welcoming, asked smart questions about my parent's needs, answered my questions with transparency, and provided an inside look at every part of the community. The building is beautiful and smells fresh and clean. Katherine and her colleague Natalie have a lot of experience working with seniors, and it's clear they are doing work they love. I am still in the early stages of my search but Mansions is high on my list.

We were looking for an independent living community for our Aunt who is moving here from out of state. When we reached out to Katherine she was friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. My husband and I toured and Katherine's care for the current residents was visible. Her interactions were positive, she knew people's names and the current residents were not shy to tell us how much they loved living at the Mansions. We are looking forward to having our aunt move in later this summer!

We have been very impressed with the welcome and the service provided by Katherine Fitzhugh, Marketing Associate, at The Mansions at Sandy Springs Independen Living. Katherine has made every effort to make the transition for our family member seamless and enjoyable. Katherine's office is next to the front door and she always has a smile and she has introduced us to the staff. She was our main selling feature. Since the move, we have found all the staff fun and accommodating and all the residents very friendly and welcoming. We are pleased with our selection of The Mansions at Sandy Springs.

I've known the Mansion at Sandy Springs for 10 years and I just moved my parents here. It has done nothing but gotten better. To know that Debbie, Curtis and Joyce are still here says so much. And Katherine has been an absolute joy in getting us established here. We are grateful and excited to be in The Mansions and I can see my parents thriving already in their new home.

My parents lived at The Mansions at Sandy Springs for two years before they both passed. The Mansions was the perfect place for them to be during the last years of their lives. There are many people there with hearts of gold who are very good at what they do and have years of experience. My parents' abilities changed dramatically while living at the Mansions, and the staff compassionately adapted to the shift in their needs. The food was great with homemade soup every day, and we loved the family meals during the holidays. I highly recommend The Mansions at Sandy Springs.

The Mansions at Sandy Springs Sr Ind Living was our first tour. Katherine showed us around and spent an unrushed 2 hrs with us. She set the bar high, but we spent the next week touring other senior living communities because there are so many choices in the general area. After every tour, my senior parent said she liked The Mansions at Sandy Springs better. So we went back, took one more look, and signed on the dotted line. We met many residents during our visits and my big take away was that every single one of them looked happy and engaged. Thanks to Katherine, the front desk staff, the dining room staff, the activities director, and the current residents, our family is thrilled to be part of this community.

We have spent the last two weeks moving my mother in law in to the Mansions. Throughout that time we have relied heavily on their fantastic staff. They are positive and always eager to assist. Katherine and Curtis are always willing to support us as things come up as well as other members of the staff.

19 September 2023 Completely turned around during the last year. The food service is really good and varied. There are plenty of activities for the residents and lots of outings. The prices for the apartments are reasonable compared to other communities in the area. I xan easily recommend this place now and would live here myself. 18 September 2022 Four months ago my sister and I were very happy with the Mansions, however in the past two months they have told residents (incorrectly) that they have run out of food, and on two other occasions in the past week they've had to substitute a cheeseburger for a meal or (today) egg salad for a meal. My sister's apartment hasn't been cleaned in a month because the cleaner (who before he left had to be told three times to clean her kitchen sink before he would actually fo it and never vacuumed her apartment) left. I've since found put there are questions around his leaving, which is why my sister is now storing her good jewelry off site. I've had conversations with management and things have actually gotten worse. At this point I cannot recommend renting at this place. ===== Is a nice place, good sized community large enough to provide all necessary amenities and small enough where you can build great relationships with your neighbours.

My mother was a resident there (when it opened) for three years. There were a number of factors requiring her to leave, mostly her declining health. I went back recently to see how it looked ( for another relative) and many positive changes were made... but you won't see them on this website. I don't know why they haven't updated to show a much improved dining area, concierge desk, and bistro area. If you looked years back, you may want to visit again.

As visiting The Mansions at Sandy Springs I find the workers are very attentive to there residents. Involving them in different activities and having conversations with individual residents which I think is very helpful as they all have different conversations and concerns. Loving the interactions that I see with the staff making sure the residents are comfortable and their needs are met to keep them safe and make them feel at home. After I lost my wife, I wanted to downsize somewhere fun that I didn't have to take care of. Sandy Springs has been perfect for me. I have a housekeeper, I don't have to cook (the food is good) and I have Wednesday happy hour with the guys. My apartment has a big balcony and I like sitting outside in the morning (when it's not too hot) and drink my coffee. I have room for everything. I still have my car, but they have a bus they use for shopping and stuff and I may consider going that route one of these days but don't want to give up "Nellie." This place is really nice and thank you to everyone here for making it feel like home.

My step brother has been at this location for a month and has done very well. The staff at the Mansions have been so wonderful and really helped me getting him established into the community. I am very grateful for their compassion and assistance in helping not only my brother but also the many other residents of this facility.

Absolutely the best people and did you know all the Mansions are owned by the same family? That makes a big difference to me - they arent some big unfeeling corporation. The residents are a LOT of fun and always going somewhere. Just the perfect place and by the way, glad to hear you are going to open up a second building with assisted living and memory services. That is going to be a big help in our community.

My father has been a resident of the Mansions for over two years. I am on site a minimum of once a week. The staff is very friendly. My fathers previous situation was far from ideal and the Mansions staff bent over backwards to help him transition over. The layout of the apartment is great. The doorways are extra wide to accommodate wheelchairs or motorized chairs. He has a huge walk in closet! Kitchens are way more than needed but appreciated by the residents. We store extra things in the kitchen cabinets. Plenty of activities. Residents are encouraged to paint and decorate their apartments to make them feel at home. There are occasional hiccups but they are dealt with quickly. We looked at numerous places before my fathers first place and before he selected this one. We looked at less expensive and more expensive places. The value can not be matched at the Mansions!

My mother lives at the Mansions and I must strongly disagree with your review. The administrator is very caring and hands on. My mother became very sick recently and she checked in her twice a day to ensure that she was fine. She even called me to keep me updated. The whole staff is very professional and well trained. They always smile and talk to everyone. The building is new and beautifully furnished. Theres so much to do, its really is like a cruise ship without the water. I cannot imagine my mother living anywhere else. I hope you ignore that persons review because for those of us with loved ones at the Mansions, we can tell you, its the best place on Earth.

I am not a resident at the mansions , but i have met many of them. all I have spoken with say they really love it there. Everyone love the amenities and speak highly of food . The employees I have spoken to love working with the senior. My husband is executive chef there, I get to see up close the passion he have for his preparation to be of maximum service to the residents there. It appears that the mansion senior living have a great model of operation that serves its residents and staff well. Keep up the great works.
