We moved my MIL into Vitality almost a year ago. Best decision we could have made. The entire staff has come to feel like trusted family members. Everyone is knowledgeable and professional. The amount of activities, run by a caring team of people, is amazing. Her one bedroom apartment is the perfect size for transitioning from her larger condo. We wish we had moved her there years ago.

We recently placed my mother at Vitality in Sanford. She is in the memory care unit called the Manor. We could not be happier with our experience at Vitality. Ruth, the Director of the Manor, is truly an angel on earth. We visit multiple times a week, and I have never walked in that she isn't smiling, enthusiastic and interacting with one of the residents. And this is true even when she has no idea that I have been brought up in the elevator. She is one of the kindest people I have ever met, and her genuine compassion for everyone on the floor is amazing! She constantly arranges live performances and activities for the residents. When my mother was living at home, she had started to become frustrated and overwhelmed. We have been extremely surprised to find that her dementia has actually become better now that she is living in Vitality. We believe this is due to the fact that she now has someone making sure that she regularly takes all of her medications, and she is not overwhelmed by trying to keep the house clean and cook the meals, etc. And when you break down the cost of living at Vitality, it's extremely reasonable because now she doesn't have a mortgage payment, electric bill, water, cable, wifi, yard, and she receives three beautifully prepared healthy meals every day . Everyone that we have dealt with at Vitality from our initial tour with Nick and Maura to each personal care representative we have dealt with has been charming. Now my mother even agrees that it is lovely not to have to do housework, laundry, or cooking. Instead she enjoys listening to live music and occasionally going to "happy hour" and dancing. lol. it has been a blessing for us because we are now able to visit our mother and truly enjoy her because she is happy again and we know that she is in a safe space.

The team at Lake Forest sets the bar for assisted living in Seminole county. I toured so many communities with my grandmother and we fell in love with Lake Forest because of the kind, genuine, and supportive team of professionals who work there. I cannot recommend them enough!

shout out to Vitality. I love the place. I have worked in many nursing homes in 36 yrs and they are not perfect but better than any I've been in. They, most, care about the clients. And the director there has done a great job for Vitality. He has had a tough run with covid, etc going on but my client was better off there than anyplace else. Front door staff, nurses,and med tech are excellent. Dining staff is pretty good too and they do care. So if ur looking for a place I highly recommend them. I'll always say great things about them and I'm surely going to miss the place. Rob you have done a great job.

Love this place! Forget everything you think you know about assisted living. The staff here is incredible, loving and caring. This place is like living inside a 5 star hotel or a mega cruise ship. The moment I walked in it felt like a place I would recommend. Clean spacious and welcoming. Front desk staff great. Listening to the staff communicate they all sounded happy and relaxed. Atria Park of Lake Forest is truly an amazing place. Both of my parents live there - my dad recently passing at 102 years of age. The care that my parents receive there is like no other assisted living facility that I know of. My mother loves living at the atria, now in her latter years, and truly feels it is her home. Everything is so warm and friendly to our Residents and Staff.The residents are treated like they are members of our Family not as Patients. My husband, James, was placed in this facility in June, 2020 . Originally it looked so nice, clean, and comfortable for a resident with dementia. However, life was not good for James at this facility. He was not given anything to do or redirected when he was antzy and wanted things to do. No involvement with others to watch sports or listen to music. I understand with COVID-19 things are different but no one checked in on him to see how he was doing. He was taking his furniture apart because he was in construction for years and wanted to do something. And the final straw was the Baker Act. Obviously Atria did not want him as a resident anymore. In fact, I was told they did not want him back after his hospital stay in the psychiatric unit. There was not much communication with me either, except when he took something apart. Thankfully, he is in a facility now that truly has staff with experience in care of dementia residents. They keep him involved and he is smiling, laughing, and enjoying life.

Wonderful staff! Everyone is helpful and works to make the resident happy and comfortable. Food is healthy and delicious, has many activities and fun field trips. My family member has only been there a few months but I couldn't find one negative. Def recommend to anyone looking for AL. As with any place thoroughly check it out to be sure its a good fit.

My mother -in-law is a resident at Atria. The care she receives is exceptional. During the recent hurricane, they did all in their power to overcome the odds. Like most other facilities in Sanford and Lake Mary, Atria stood right by their residents, being there for all their needs. They even served meals in each resident's apartment. So very proud of the staff at Atria Park of Lake Forest. Gus is a genuine leader making all the right decisions at all the right times.

We are considering Atria for the wife's parents. Of 5 facilities we considered, Atria is one of two finalists.We were impressed with the look of the facility, the happiness of the residents, the number of staff, and the quality of the care. Everyone was so nice, and everything said was comforting and reassuring.We can only get a one bedroom apartment, so the parents would have to do a lot of downsizing from their two bedroom apartment. We also would have preferred to see alarms (bells/chimes/alerts) on all the doors. Finally, the Atria might be the most expensive of all the choices.

My wife Nan is in The Manor & I am in the Independent building. My wife is getting wonderful care from an incredible staff, who care about the residents and treat them like family. Cannot say enough good things about Ruthie, an electric personality, wonderful people skills and endless energy. The residents love her! The Independent building has a wonderful staff who go out of their way to assist the residents. The dining room staff is so congenial, sweet and caring. The "Star" employee is Bridgett. Nonstop energy, a wonderful heart, so very good at what she does. Besides training the staff, she's got a personality perfectly suited to deal with the residents. As President of the 2015 Resident Council Board, I would like to see Bridgett run against Hilary in 2016.

Do not bring your loved ones here. This facility employs a vile human being by the name of Sage Johnson who finds some sick pleasure in belittling people with disabilities. Her ignorance and vitriol is appalling.

Every staff member is wonderful! Very attentive, caring and enthusiastic. Donna, the Engage life director, along with Angelica, Amy and countless others keep everyone involved and informed about all the activities. They are constantly finding new ways to keep up the interest and enthusiasm, often finding off site things to do. All the nurses(Nicole), physical and occupational therapists(Nemisha,Heather,Maria), personal attendants, waiters/waitresses, housekeepers, maintenance guys, are all very patient and caring and truly seem to love their jobs. Their personal attention and genuine empathy are second to none. My mother thrives here, both physically and mentally since they treat her as if she is a member of their own family. She feels loved and well cared for. Thank you to everyone!
