We moved our 92-year-old mother to Vista so she could be closer to family. We loved the beautiful setting on the golf course and the caring staff, who went above and beyond to make her feel welcome and at home. Anthony played a huge role in making Mom's transition seamless. We truly couldn't have done it without him, and we are so grateful for his kindness and support. Mom's time at Vista was short due to her sudden passing, but we will always be thankful for the care and compassion she received there. Vista will always hold a special place in our hearts and will always be part of our family.

My brother had been at the Vista for the past 16 months. The caregivers, med techs, and nurses are very caring. I am especially grateful to caregiver, Maria, who has been there for 20 years. She is a small woman but she is strong and has a big heart. She was so kind to my brother. The Vista was going through a transition of management when I brought my brother there. Leslie the general manager was very attentive to my concerns. She gave me her cell phone number and I called her several times at home. She always addressed every issue promptly and to my satisfaction. She has great leadership skills and is very compassionate.

The facility is clean, the staff appear to be caring, and my loved one is well cared for. But a couple of months ago families were told that the Vista was no longer going to use NovoPharm for residents’ prescriptions. Instead they decided to use Guardian Pharmacy with the excuse that the Guardian Pharmacy was local. Families had no input on this matter. I expressed concerns that there would be a price increase, and indeed there is! More than double. I will seek answers and I'd like to know if other families are as upset about this price increase as my family is. Going from a $68 pharmacy bill to one over $150 for the same prescriptions is unacceptable.

The Vista at Hammock Cove & it’s staff made my moms final days so very comfortable. The staff at the leadership of Leslie Castaneda, Excutive Director, were most professional & compassionate. I am very appreciative to see my mom at 99 years of age cared for in such a superior manner till her final departure from us. Special mention goes out to Denise, Mindy, and all the ladies from Vytas hospice. These are very special ladies that display their love & compassion not too common elsewhere. Mom entered the assisted living facility Barrington Terrace of Fort Myers in March of 2020. When hurricane Ian was an imminent threat in September of 2022, she was transferred to Barrington Terrace of Naples, now The Vista at Hammock Cove. In 2024, there were three back-to-back named storms I cannot say enough about the emergency preparedness policy and procedures they have in place. Via text message, email and/or telephone call, family is always informed of what is happening. Mom was eventually transferred from assisted living to memory care. The memory care Director, Julie Carver, has consistently gone above and beyond to keep Mom safe, engaged and happy! Julie was always available to answer questions either in person, on the telephone or via email. The compassion she expresses to residents is heartwarming and very much appreciated. The programs she has instituted keep these residents engaged. When visiting Mom, Julie would share with me the conversations and laughs she had with Mom; which were quite frequent. Julie is hands on in every aspect. I've seen her assist with helping families arrange rooms, organize closets, get laundry sorted, sit with residents to just hold a hand. During Mom's transition, Julie could not have been more comforting and thoughtful - Vista is lucky to have her! Laura Gonzalez, the Business Office Director, was extremely helpful during the transition from Barrington Terrace to Vista. Always available to review invoices and efficiently handle all questions, requests and make corrections with the new agency. Vista at Hammock Cove is an exemplary Assisted Living/Memory Care facility.

I want to express my deepest appreciation to a fine staff member. She has helped me and my mother with some medical challenges since she came to Barrington Terrace. She is always available on her mobile phone to talk. This is Julie Carver. Julie has made changes to improve my mother’s unit. She has been doing elderly care for 22 years. As long as Julie is on staff, residents will have superb treatment. Thank you so much Julie!! God bless you!! I can’t do another separate review so I am adding some comments on another excellent staff member. This is Laura Gonzales who handles the billing and bookkeeping. Thanks ™ to Google for their short sightedness. Laura has helped with several billing issues and acted as a valuable benefactor for my mom. She always calls me back when I leave her a message. Life for us and Laura would be much easier if the online bill payment resources worked properly. Maybe this will be improved under the new facility ownership? Responsible family representatives need to strongly advise them to do this, as well as to retain key quality personnel like Laura and Julie.

Assisted living is big business, and when you entrust a place to take care of your loved one (my mother in this case), you want a place with caring and compassionate employees above all else. Nadege was wonderful in the way she could help keep my mom as calm as possible when Mom was experiencing sundowning syndrome. Nadege has a naturally calming and compassionate demeanor, and I am eternally grateful for her kindness to Mom. Maila was also great in the way she kept my family up-to-date on Mom's medical status. And Julie, the director of Memory Care, was always responsive in returning phones calls when I had questions or needed help with paperwork, and also was good about reaching out to me whenever necessary to update me on how Mom was doing. Mom spent her final year in Barrington Terrace, and while it was difficult to see her decline physically and then mentally, I am grateful to their employees (including plenty of others---from the front desk and onward) for being so friendly during what was a difficult time period for us. Barrington of Naples has been great for the needs of my dad at this stage of his life. The entire staff there have worked to help in the transition which is the most difficult for my dad. Juli Carver (Memory Care Director) has been great! Very compassionate and caring. She is very personable and has truly been a blessing to have for my dad. Sometimes it’s the little things that count! Dad being a muscle car enthusiast and loves to talk about cars etc, Juli showed him her own hot rod! Any issues that arise are communication and addressed. Thank you again Barrington and staff!

Mom has been At Barrington Terrace for 7 months and has adjusted beautifully. Our journey started with visits to Anne and we knew instantly that this was the perfect new home for her. There are plenty of activities and the meals are very good. The chef, Ernesto, even reached out to me for her favorites. Each staff member from the front desk to care givers and everyone in between knows each resident by name and who I am when I walk through the door. It is a truly personal, welcoming experience. You will see lots of residents out and about, possibly Willow, the resident dog, and maybe some live music and a sing along! I will say that there was a couple weeks adjustment period and I can’t tell you how appreciative I am to Linda, Care Director, who is brilliant at thinking outside the box. She looked at our own personal experience and made adjustments that transitioned Mom smoothly. Mom is in the perfect place and I am so thankful for the peace of mind Barrington Terrace has provided. The best Assisted Living facility in town. On every single level..The floor plan is great, you are always able to find someone quickly to ask a question or information..if someone is not asking if I need help first...Genuinely take care of residents, and all departments excellent in what they do.. Big beautiful buildings are around, BUT they need to take care of your family member, being such huge facilities one may get less attention .. And that is one major reason why we moved my family member to Barrington Terrace. We are very pleased

The recent hurricane and my distance from Naples have limited my in- person involvement with the staff at Barrington of Naples but their attention to my wife has been outstanding. I have been kept informed of her condition on a daily basis and at a recent visit saw the staff's personal concern for her well-being.

Very recently my brother and I were faced with the difficult task to place our 96 yr old mother into assisted living, after living independently for her entire life. Barrington Terrace was our place of choice. The warm and friendly staff and bright surroundings provided a comfort of home inviting atmosphere. Staff made it quite easy to seamlessly move my uncle to The Barrington Terrace from The Preserve Of Palm Aire (both Arbor properties). From nurses communicating prior to move to assess needs to medications send psychologist assistance they were super. The staff has been doting on Ted from meals l and exercise classes to reassurances that everything will be ok has helped him transition to this new home. We are all grateful.

From the minute I walked in to tour Barrington Terrace for my Mom, I felt good about the place. The day my Mom checked in I was so pleased to see how kind and welcoming everyone was to her. When the time came to relocate our 94 year old Mother from Pittsburgh we had many choices for a new home and assisted living community. Thank goodness we found and chose Barrington. Ann C was outstanding in providing us the necessary insights on Barrington and assuring us this was the right decision for our Mother. Our Dad has been at Barrington Terrace for 2 months now and is very happy. The staff is extremely friendly, competent and responsive. He needs a high level of assistance and no other place comes close to Barrington in meeting those needs. We toured over 10 places in and around the Naples area and it became obvious that Barrington was the best place for my Dad. We love that it is on the smaller side and the responsiveness and genuine caring from the staff, especially the head of nursing, has been fabulous. If your loved one needs heavy assisted living, know that there are very few places who can back up what they promise you up front. Unfortunately we had to learn that the hard way. We are so grateful to the Barrington family for giving us peace of mind knowing our Dad is so well cared for. Keep up the great work so many families are depending on you!

When I apologized to one of the staff members for asking so many questions and needing help with things, her response was, "We work for you and your family. Our family are all in different states. Only my mother lives in Florida. As soon as I spoke with Ann Crandall on the phone I knew Barrington was going to be the perfect place. I met with Ann that afternoon and upon walking into Barrington, I was impressed on how clean the facility was and I felt so good about Barrington Terrace. I met with Tammy DeCaro, Linda Alvarez, and Dana James on that very first day. They helped with the transition of my mother from the Hospital to Barrington Terrace. Linda Alvarez was outstanding in accomplishing this without a worry. Linda Alvarez also assisted my family in requesting Avitas Hospice and the response was that very day. The whole staff is friendly and caring. I would recommend Barrington Terrace of Naples to everyone. We couldn't ask for more. Thank y'all so much for everything you do for each resident.

We recently visited Barrington Terrace in Naples Florida with the purpose of a family member becoming a resident. We were pleasantly surprised by the knowledge, experience and concern the staff displayed for our needs. The facility is clean, bright and full of life. The staff is engaging, knowledgeable and caring. We were treated to some homemade chocolates made by their 5 star head chef. Very satisfying experience and would highly recommend reaching out to Ann Crandell for a personal tour, she was amazing. updatesince this post we have moved our family member into Barrington Terrace. The facility is more like a home with friends. The staff is very engaging with the residents and our dad is happier than living on his own. He has his independence and caring people around to keep him active and healthy. The food and attention to detail on his diet is amazing. This was an important decision to make and Barrington Terrace has exceeded our expectations.

It was very difficult to move my mother who is 94 years old to a Nursing Home. I visited several facilities and decided on Barrington Terrace. I am so thankful that I chose Barrington Terrace. My mother is treated wonderfully and so am I. They are very patient with all my questions. The most important thing is that my mother has actually improved. Her attitude and outlook are so much better. I have actually seen her smile and laugh. Before all she did was sit at home and watch TV. Now she gets out and walks the grounds and participates in activities. She even likes the food and she is hard to please. Dementia is a horrible disease but the staff at Barrington handle it very well.

Barrington is an awesome facility. My mom joined their family on Wednesday, January 26th. From the moment we stepped in the front doors to visit, we were welcomed by all. We were shown all areas of Barrington along with three different rooms. While walking around we were greeted by many staff members and residents. Mom loved it and within 5 days she was moved in. Mom is kept very busy throughout the day with wonderful activities and she loves the wonderful meals. I can’t say enough about Barrington I would highly recommend for your loved one.

My sister and I toured Barrington for our mother. We walked out thinking we were going to have a tough decision to make since it was our first stop and the people were over-the-top. We were so wrong. Hands down it was the best place we visited in Naples. Mom was greeted like a Rock-Star upon her arrival and it’s just what we all needed. They kicked us grown kids out and served dinner to my mom and dad, alone, in her new room before dad left for the evening. The hospitality hasn’t faltered since our mother’s arrival. The ENTIRE staff is welcoming and bends over backwards to meet our mother’s, and her very large extended family’s, needs before we can even ask. And for that I am thankful.

My father has lived at Barrington Terrace from July 2020 to present. In April of 2021, upon his release from the hospital, he returned to Barrington Terrace, but now with the additional care of Vitas Hospice. While at Barrington Terrace, Dad's been able to participate in many of their frequent activities, documented in emails sent regularly to me. I've received numerous photos of him playing games, in group exercises, and on escorted walks outside the facility. Now that Dad is on hospice, the communication between myself, the Barrington Terrace, and Vitas staff, regarding dad's care, has been nothing short of exceptional! He always looks quite dapper, thanks to his care providers, and his room is ALWAYS neat and clean, as well. I'm grateful my brother and I can continue to play chess with him a couple times a week. They put your mind to rest and are all so friendly. My dad has been at Barrington for 2 1/2 years now. He is so happy, comfortable, and smiling all the time and that is largely because of the staff. They take the time to interact with each resident and make sure that they are comfortable and cared for. It puts your mind at ease when you know that your loved one is in very capable and loving hands when you’re not able to be there. I would highly recommend Barrington Terrace for your loved one.

My mother has been a resident at Barrington Terrace for several years, and during this time I have visited the facility on a nearly weekly basis. The high level of medical care she has received at Barrington has only been exceeded by the quality of the relationships we have enjoyed with Staff. I am impressed with Barrington's genuine commitment to the care and treatment of the "whole" person, and I am grateful that my mother has been able to spend these important years of her life in such a nurturing, caring and peaceful place.

My husband and I have visited Barrington Terrace many times. My husband’s mother resided there for a significant time and received exemplary care by all care providers and services. He was extremely appreciative for their care. Ann Crandall and Tammy DeCaro have been extremely helpful in navigating a plan for my mother. They have met and communicated with me many times. Difficult questions have been asked and answered to help me meet my mother’s and family’s needs. They have been generous with sharing information and offered support during this sensitive time. I’m confident of their commitment to providing a caring environment and professional services at Barrington Terrace.

I recently toured Barrington Terrace. What a wonderful experience. The facility is beautiful, clean and inviting. The dining room looked like a five star restaurant, where you order from a menu with many delicious choices, and even has a chef. The director, Sommer, was very gracious and extremely helpful. She spent a great deal of time with me helping me through a painful process. Unfortunately, the family member was unable to reside there due to more failing health problems. I highly recommend Barrington Terrace for an assisted living lifestyle.

My step-daughter and I visited Barrington Terrace of Naples last week for future care for my husband. We were both so very impressed with: 1. Staff, empathetic, in charge, knowledgeable, competent 2. Facility, clean clean clean, inviting, variety of activities and places to be. We felt that we did not need to visit any other place. When we are ready we will choose Barrington.

Cannot say enough wonderful things about Barrington Terrace of Fort Myers. After moving mom and dad in this weekend, the staff could not be more accommodating, could not be more friendly, and everything that was done was certainly over and above what could ever be expected. We wholeheartedly recommend Barrington Terrace Fort Myers and every single employee there!! And extra thanks to Brian, Theresa, Shannon & Mindy for the smooth move-in coordination. Barrington Terrace of Naples is and has been clinically expert on every aspect of Dementia Care and Assisted Living milieu. Linda Alvarez memory care director is exceptional in her knowledge and caring for all her residents. Barrington Terrace is so well organized at every level of nursing care and is so very responsive to every residents mental, physical and emotional needs and promoting a state of wellbeing with aging. Barrington Terrace really gets it......its all about nursing care.

Barrington Terrace came highly recommended to us but we felt like we won the lottery when we were introduced to Senior Care Specialist Ellen Reilly. She has been our single point of contact throughout Dad's transition from home to their facility and we cannot say enough positive things about her which reflects positively on the facility. She's kind, compassionate, patient, professional and an excellent communicator who has made herself available morning, noon, night and weekends. My mother Natalie was a resident at Barrington for almost two years. We selected Barrington after visiting many other local residences. The building is clean and was renovated recently. They've succeeded in creating a positive social environment for the residents. The common areas are comfortable for residents and visitors. We have had good experience with the dining, housekeeping and laundry services. In early January, Natalie entered hospice and was confined to a hospital bed. The care staff took care to attend to her special needs and requests, and make her as comfortable as possible. During the most difficult times, the nurses did what they could to make Natalie feel respected and supported by the caregivers. They often reached out to me to make me aware of her deteriorating health and medication status. It was comforting to me to know that Natalie was safe and well-cared for while I was not at Barrington. My heartfelt thanks go out to nurses Adeline, Maria and Pamela.

Thanks to the sage advice of Bennet Balmer from A Place for Mom, Barrington Terrace was the first facility that I checked. It was perfect! From the open and cheery entrance, to the welcoming and friendly staff, Barrington Terrace was the perfect choice. They put thought into every decision. Dad gets so many visitors because the environment is so pleasant that it is a positive experience. The food is good and is properly prepared. They offer choices at every meal. They come for the residents for each activity. The staff takes the time to get to know not only the residents, but the family. What a relief it is to know that Dad is getting properly cared for. Thank you all!

Quite a bit of planning, deliberating, and research went into making the decision for Mom to move into Barrington Terrace. I visited a few assisted living facilities in the Naples area before committing to Barrington. This decision-making process took over a year and a half. No pressure was placed on me to move Mom into the facility, but I'd receive follow-up calls periodically from my contact person there who was checking on Mom, me, and where we were in this process. Barrington Terrace is a lively, active, and caring facility, and one can experience those attributes in all of the staff. The first couple days after Mom moved in, it was tough, but soon Mom was doing all kinds of things”there's rarely a dull moment there! After about 2 weeks I actually had a smile on my face; Mom seemed content and happy. I'm still smiling.

Oustanding in every way. They do everything right when it comes to access, communication, customer service, and quality. They make those living under their care and watchful eye, feel safe, secure, and loved. From my very first encounter several years ago when my Dad was transitioned to Barrington Terrace of Naples, there was something unique and amazing about everyone who worked there from the aids, housekeepers, nursing, and the administration. My Dad had failed to thrive in past but with Barrington Terrace of Naples he bounced back and has been doing as well as one can expect with his condition. Compassionate and caring staff make all the difference in the world. My Mom was also cared for by Barrington Terrace of Naples and everything they did to help her transition was perfect. Working in healthcare myself, I see many different expressions of what people consider assisted living and this is hands down the best I have seen.

Our mother lived at Barrington Terrace for about 3 1/2 years. During that time she first lived independently, then transitioned to the memory care unit as her dementia increased. From move-in to the end, the staff at Barrington treated Margie, and we her family, as residents. When Mom's abilities changed the staff worked with us to understand what was happening and how to cope. When Mom was slipping away from us staff was there to comfort. The day Mom passed there was a steady stream of visitors..staff from all levels came to say goodby to a friend. The people at Barrington Terrace made the the last years of our mother's life good for her, and good for us. Thanks.

Barrington Terrace of Naples is that perfect fit for my family. I know that my mother is living were she is understood and taken care of. I am thankful for Barrington Terrace of Naples and its staff. The people there are doing what they are meant to be doing in life.

Choosing an Assisted Living for your parent or loved one is never easy. All the staff at Barrington are so helpful, caring, and accommodating that we never questioned our choice. The accommodations are lovely, food delicious, and everyone went out of their way to make my Mom feel like she was welcome and with friends. I always knew she was safe and well looked after. Whenever someone is looking for assistance the first name out of my mouth is Barrington Terrace.
