We moved our parents to Sunrise 17 months ago. My mother in law was diagnosed with a terminal illness. She passed away recently. From move in date until her final day, my mother in law was treated with love, kindness and respect from all care givers. The nursing staff was compassionate and great communicators. and The director Melanie Belfry always went that extra mile to try help in all areas of customer service. Since his wife’s passing, my father in law has decided to remain a resident at Sunrise. He feels safe, at home and accepted. He loves the food and the opportunities to interact with fellow residents. As a family we have peace of mind knowing he is not alone and being checked in regularly.

Staff is very competent, professional, caring, and communicative. Our family is very pleased with the beautiful facility and excellent services offered. Services flexed in response to each parent's changing needs. We are happy that we chose Sunrise of Rochester!

A facility focused on genuine caring and a respect for the elderly, which is what we all want for our loved ones. Very recently my mom passed at Sunrise at the age of 87 and the tears were flowing with our family as well as the staff, which is why I used the word "caring" above. There was obviously a strong connection between the team and her (and my dad) which is not something you read in a contract, nor can it be fabricated. The foot soldiers are solid and do a job few of us want. Also, upper management does everything it can to make sure financial and daily needs are meeting expectations. In closing, my 91 year old father is still living at Sunrise and when asked if he wanted to explore other options he emphatically stated "NO".

Staff is always attentive and caring, going out of their way to provide best possible services. Most impressed with care manager Erika and staff Roxana and Doina. Marcus, Melanie and Cheryl were very professional and helpful. Excellent team!

All of the caregivers and staff were wonderful during my grandmothers stay here. We were always met with friendly smiles and greetings upon visiting weekly. Of the various places my grandmother had stayed, this was by far the best and I would recommend this facility to anyone in need of care.

Parking not good for guests, set back off Crooks with a calm entry, people all very cheerful and positive, have pets roaming, visited at lunch time and very busy but positive energy everywhere. Currently 18 residents in memory care, 1/2 in wheelchairs 1/2 not. Ability to go outside and secured. 6:1 ratio care and supervision. Nurses on site for med administration and emergencies. In the middle of a remodel. Should be done in a couple months. Day - Prepare for day, dress, breakfast, exercise, activity, lunch, down time, crafting, snack. Routine helps with Sleep/wake cycle. Move in fee $2000, special to $1,000 during renovation. 3 room sizes available, approx $6,400 +/- depending on room

Everything is going very well for my mother since her move to this community. They have a lovely staff, and I was pleased with all they did for us. They took very care of her and her needs. It is a good looking community. Everything has worked out very well, and I'am pleased.
