Hannah is the absolute heart and soul of this place if it wasn’t for her we never really would’ve even considered putting our grandmother in Benton House. Since day one the staff has gone above and beyond taking the best care of grandmother. Ron has to be the best activity director I have ever met. He’s always engaged with the residents He’s making it fun all day every day you can tell. He truly cares about each and every resident and just has their best interest in mind. He even always makes my kids feel very welcomed and loved and always wants to get them involved with activities. Also which the residents love because they love children. There is no better assisted living in this area besides Benton House if you were looking for a truly amazing place that truly cares about your parent or grandparent do not look any farther than Benton House!

The people responsible for caring for my mother have been nothing short of amazing. My mother was supposed to be released from a rehabilitation facility on a scheduled date, but that date kept getting pushed back. The team at Benton House visited my mother, 30 miles away, 3 times to check on her and welcome her to her new home during the delay. The Friday before Memorial Day weekend, the team at Benton House made sure all the necessary paperwork was in place so my mother could finally be transferred. Without the dedication and determination from Crystal, Hannah of the Benton House and Valorie from Corporate, my mother would not have been able to transfer on the day she transferred. I am grateful my mother has such a dedicated group caring for her.

The most attractive trait of those few are that they take the time to get to know each resident personally, from their favorite meals to their hobbies. The environment is warm and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and cozy, with plenty of natural light, and the shared spaces are beautifully decorated and always spotless. The activities offered are fantastic. Many of the residents I stop and speak with always say they look forward to art workshops and petting zoos and even when Elvis stops in do perform live music. It’s heartwarming to see them so engaged and happy. One of the things I appreciate most is how communicative and supportive the team is, especially their marketing director. When questions come about, she is quick go answer; always walks everyone step by step so they understand. It’s clear that the staff and leadership here are deeply committed to creating a positive, safe, and vibrant community. Knowing that everyone is surrounded by compassionate people who truly care gives me so much peace of mind. I highly recommend the Benton House of Douglaville to anyone looking for a place where their loved ones will be treated with respect, dignity, and kindness. It’s a wonderful community that truly feels like home.

This establishment genuinely prioritizes the well-being of its residents, consistently offering engaging and enjoyable activities for all. As the owner of an alpaca farm, I was approached by the remarkable Hannah Turner to organize an outing for some seniors to my farm. Since then, she has reached out multiple times to arrange visits with my alpacas at their facility, and we take great pleasure in accommodating her and the residents. Hannah and the staff demonstrate exceptional attentiveness to the needs of the residents, which is truly refreshing. I wholeheartedly endorse this place.

When I knew we were going to be out of the country for almost a month Benton House my first choice. My mother who is very particular was very happy at Benton house. And it was wonderful to know that we could be out of town and know that my mother was being well taken care of. If I ever need Adult Day Care or respite care again we will definitely be choosing Benton House

What an AMAZING place! I moved my Mom to Benton House Douglasville a few months ago after having declining care at another facility. I researched and visited several facilities in the area. There are some very nice, new facilities just down the road but my priority was patient care, so I settled on Benton House. Hannah Turner Community Relations Director made this decision so easy for me. I felt at peace for the first time since putting my Mom in Memory Care. The staff puts patient care a priority above all else! The staff and residents all seem very happy at this facility and the food is very good! While my Mom is still adjusting to new people and new surroundings, Benton House has kept in touch weekly helping to make this adjustment as easy on my Mom as possible. I feel very blessed there are good people at Benton House taking care of my Mom when I am not able.

From the management office to the staff members, these are true care-givers. I am truly grateful for them. UPDATE: my mother has been attending the BH senior day program for 1 1/2 years now. While dementia is irreversible, the symptoms can definitely be slowed. My mother's daily care at Benton House helps with her continued good health, mobility, and emotional well-being. Thank you to management and staff for all you do.

The Benton House of Douglas will always have a special place in my heart. Shelly, the director, has an amazing staff that is available to help and answer questions when needed. Tracy was instrumental in getting my mother ready for her new home. Jennifer, head of medical for the center is phenomenal. She not only is very honest when asked difficult questions concerning our mom’s health and medication but is able to deliver her answers in a caring and empathetic way. She also develops special relationships with the residents there which gave us a peace of mind when we were not able to be there. The nurses and staff are all very nice and appear to love their jobs and the residents they serve. When my mom passed, the administrative team and several of the staff, including the chefs, came to express their sympathies. It touched our hearts to see how much our mother meant to them and our family even though my mother’s stay there was just a few months. Highly recommend!

My mother is in Beacon (Memory Care). Benton House takes the best care of her physically, mentally, and in every way. Their love for her is so evident as she is content and happy. Best staff hands down from the front office to direct care. They are all our family now!

The staff and administration at Benton House Douglasville, GA are superlative! Our mother has been there since the year after they opened-first in Assisted Living and now in Memory Care-almost 10 years. She’s always been exceptionally well cared for, particularly by Jenny, the Nursing Director, and her medical team. Mother feels very much at home in Benton House. She is comfortable and secure, even as she has been transitioned into Hospice again recently. We are especially grateful for how responsive everyone has been to her needs and ours as a family during the pandemic. The Memory Care staff in Beacon under Karen’s leadership is always patient, kind and compassionate. Given the difficult and terribly inconsistent experiences we have encountered with our other Mom over the last three years at a nursing home in North Georgia we know how truly fortunate and blessed we have been in finding Benton House. The facility offers consistent, quality care and support for residents and their families over time-a rare find indeed!

Large enough whereby residents and family feel that it has all offerings and capabilities without being so large that one person is just a face. For over seven years they have careed for my family as if it was their own family member. Clean all the time and very pretty grounds. The food is very good, and the activities and short trips keep people active. There are always people from the community coming in and entertaining or ministering or both. They frequently have special themed days that are fun and entertaining. Family members are continually kept informed, and encouraged to participate if able. They also are highly helpful in making certain families are informed for all financial needs. And location is ideal. Highly recommend Benton House of Douglasville.
