I visited Keowee Place on a day when they were honoring veterans. It was an extremely touching ceremony and one which clearly moved the hearts of those being honored. I watched the loving interactions of the staff as they seated residents in the dining room for lunch and when they passed them in the hallways slipping them a hug as we passed by on our tour of the building. I watched the interactions with executive staff and nursing care and was surprised by the ease with which they worked together. A lovely room in a high end facility with multiple activities, can appear to be "the place" for your loved one. Do not be deceived by glitz. Look for the deeper attributes: caring staff who work as a team.

I work for a local hospice provider and have had the privilege of working with Keowee Place for a few years. I have always been impressed with the care they provide, and the quality of their staff. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this community to any of my patients, family or friends.

This is truly the most rewarding job I have ever had. I absolutely love coming in to work with the amazing staff and the sweetest residents. It is truly like a big family here. Our director is so dedicated to each and every resident that lives here and we all make sure they know that they are loved!

My mother in law has been at Keowee Place for couple of months now and we could not ask for a better experience. She is happy, encouraged to engage in daily activities, well fed, and above all well taken care of. The staff has been amazing and feel more like family friends. We love the staff at Keowee Place. They treat their residents like they are family members. They always have an activity going on which the residents truly enjoy. Being able to bring a treasured and loved pet along is a definite plus. Having two nurses, transportation for residents and nicely updated rooms are added bonuses. I can fully understand why it was voted Best of Seneca in 2017! Thoroughly enjoyed our tour and meeting everyone and when the time comes, feel extremely confident in placing my parents there.
