Earlier I posted a review about financial issues that concerned myself and wife. In that review I noted that the billing dept. were charging more than my contract states. I've since been to the Willows today and Isolina Aponte and another representative called me to Isolina's where they had documented the current status of our account and how the billing will work in the future by eliminating the auto pay which I have agreed to. All billing which was over charged will be credited towards the future of this account. I applaud Isolina and the other representative involved as they have rectifie4d the problem. thank you t Isolina and her associate.

Ann Wilson did a great job at showing me around and setting up my wife's room. I am not st all pleased with the billing as I have been over charged $894.90 in two months. My contract is for $5500 monthly.. This issue needs to be fixed in order to avoid legal action. Most of the staff are cordial and caring.

When the nursing home decided to discharge my husband a week early, the Team at The Willow’s stepped in and provided all the necessities until his furnishings could be delivered the following week. Everything went so smoothly and I appreciated all the extra effort to get him settled. Thank you for making something so difficult easy!

The Willows in Oxford FL is a great assisted living. The building has an open feeling with two story entrance and cafeteria. Clean and well maintained but the best part is the staff, everyone from the nurses to cafeteria staff is fantastic. They got to know my father-in-law and actually cared. He told us how good they were taking care of him and was happy. That in & of itself was a miracle, he distrusted everyone. Unfortunately his stay was cut short, his health deteriorated.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The facility is very clean and well maintained. The only issues are that they wake up the residents who go to bed early at 9:30 pm to bathe them, and then make them sign a form stating that they refused being bathed. Many things on the menu in the dining facility are too tough to chew for elderly people who struggle with denture issues.

I am very pleased with maintenance because whenever something needs to get fixed it gets done quickly. Housekeeping, when I go into the room everything looks neat and tidy.

My mother had a very good experience at The Willows for respite care. The staff was very attentive, lovely facility and great food.

This is a beautiful environment, friendly staff and good food! The lobby has high ceilings with high windows that give in a lot of light. There are benches and rockers outside that invite the residents to sit and talk or enjoy the fresh air. My mother is very happy here. The staff make an effort to know all their names and greet them with a cheerful smile. It gives me peace knowing she is well taken care of by compassionate people.

I am distressed that our friend in assisted living (paying for assisted living) is not provided with basic needs like toilet paper. When she does not feel strong, her meals as they are are delivered to her room rather than someone volunteering to wheel her to the dining room. She is a sociable person and has no medical followup care either. We live too far away but when visiting her we were made aware of these deficiencies. How can someone who is so mobility impaired be expected to shop for toilet paper?

My mom was at the Willows for 4.5 years. 3 of those years in memory care. She received excellent care for the first 2.5 years and then came the Covid 19 lockdowns. I have no idea what the care was like when we couldn’t go in. They changed ownership during that time. When we were allowed back in they were understaffed as many places were. Many activities were stopped because of the staffing issues. At that time it was common to only find 1 staff member for 12-14 memory care residents. Now there is generally 2 staff members but the activities are still lacking. Residents are left to sit in front of the tv all day with very little interaction except for meal times and changing times. They also remodeled and took half of the memory care social area to turn into independent living apartments and their social area. This cost the memory care people an additional $500 per month. They are now one of the highest in cost. Also anything you purchase to help your loved one has a very high risk of disappearing. Sometimes it can be found but not usually. There clothing will get mixed up with other residents also even though they are supposed to wash them separately. I moved my mom to a care home with only 4 residents. She is doing much better now and gets a lot more one on one interaction.

My sister has been at the Willows for 5 years. The first 1 1/2 years in assisted living. Since then she has been in the Memory Care Unit. The care, competency and kindness have been outstanding. I am so grateful for the care she has received - more like a family than a facility!

My mom has been living at The Willow’s for the past 3 years. The management has been in place through her entire stay which has made it feel more like family. The care she has received has been exceptional and the food is always good. The scheduled activities are beneficial to social inclusion. The process through Covid for the residents was very protective and safe. Mom is now 102 and has been cared for by a great facility. If you’re looking for a place for yourself or for a relative consider The Willows.

Under the current (horrible!) management, same as the last 4+ years, I honestly can not possibly recommend this Assisted Living Facility ! No compassion whatsoever from management personal. Borderline emotional abuse. Business comes first here, certainly not the residents well being.

We had a wonderful experience with The Willows. We needed an emergency placement for my mom in memory care and they saved me! They were compassionate and caring and made a very stressful situation much calmer. Jackie, Michele and Annvette (in memory care) and even the hair salon made my mom's transition as smooth as it could be. I'm ever so thankful to the folks at The Willows! When it was time for my dad to move to assisted living they made that happen, too. Don't know what we would have done without them.

My mom loves the people that work there and the new therapy the have added In House it is a very clean and warm friendly place, and questions concerns get addressed right away with the director Pam, and you have the option of automatic withdrawal payments of your monthly bill. They are by far the most reasonable price for upscale care. My mother in law or as I looked at her my mom as well lived there till we lost her in February, when the hurricane hit last year my mom who had a severe stroke on mother’s day followed by losing my dad her hubby of 71 years passed away a few weeks later, she was due to be released to our home with no power or water in the extreme heat in a wheel chair, while visiting my hubbys mom expressed our fears to Pam director she got her head nurse told him where Mom was and told housekeeping and maintenance to set up a respit room for the next morning set up transportation and took Mom in on less then a 24 hour notice, as well as Insisting we come back with our puppies and at least get a shower and cool air for the night and set us up in a room we could’ve stayed longer but our puppy was not ready for being quite with the noises outside. My mom with in a week decided to stay and call it it home, totally her decision. Mo second Mom had a tia during all this and had to go to memory care there they moved her from her upstairs apartment to a memory. Are apt. Before she was released and set everything up so the transition was not as difficult. And when it was time for hospice they arranged the meeting for us, and helped with everything till the end. Now helping get my mom out of room with therapy and salon visits on her floor making sure she eats and has doctors visit her and therapy taking her down to gym it’s a blessing no nicer or pesonable people, the have a new head nurse now and she has been very helpful and everyone that visit s Mom that work there through out Day is wonderful
