My sister pays very good money and she is so unhappy . I do not recommend this Asisisted Living facility to anyone. The director told her the other day that he was thinking of putting her out on the street I dont care what your mental condition is you dont talk to people like that . She calls and is crying on the phone . I suggest that the staff have more empathy for patients They dont do much for the patients. Please research before you would decide to come to this place.

I was able to attend the Bay Lake Retirement open house last month. The facility is absolutely beautiful and in such an incredible location - blocks from the bay. As soon as I entered the community I was greeted with a smile. Everyone I met at the open house was so warm and welcoming. I learned about all of the free events open to the public and was blown away by how many community oriented the residence is. Pets are welcome and they even have dog walkers. The grounds are gorgeous. Definitely take a tour!

Such a great community, upon walking in, it felt like home. The Concierge Lisa greeted us asking what she could help us with. The entire staff was friendly and the residents all were relaxed and happy. Sam the executive director was very professional and knew all staff and residents we encountered by name. Everyone really cared about the community and the residents. I highly recommend Bay Lake Retirement if you are looking for a retirement community that delivers the care that your love one has earned and deserves.

We are so pleased with everything at BayLake. Everyone is friendly, helpful and caring. The residents are eager to welcome new people as well which made it so easy to move my MIL there. Bay Lake Community/Assisted Living has a fabulous staff. Our greeting to the facility was welcoming and everyone was so friendly and ready to assist us with all our questions and concerns. The living facility is laid out in a manner where you feel like you're in a large home. Once outside your room you're surrounded by activities and friendly people. My biggest compliment is for the staff and how they treated us. Their customer service is outstanding and after our initial visit we knew this was the place for our mom to be. I've been to quite a few assisted living facilities and Bay Lake stands out in many aspects with its first class amenities along with exceptional caregiver support with great Healthcare feedback for loved ones. I would highly recommend this assisted living facility for my grandparents or any family members as its first class in the areas you would want for your loved ones. Great in-house Therapy Team & All staff is ready to help when needed. The culinary Department with making meals is second to none with dining amenities and quality of food of a five-star restaurant! Definitely in the upper echelon of assisted living facilities with everything it has to offer. Since moving in at the beginning of May, Dad has thrived. The facility is beautiful, well maintained and the staff is excellent. The activities director keeps them moving, shaking and thinking. The staff at Bay Lake are amazing! From the front desk to Nursing Staff to Dining staff to Maintenance staff and the list goes on. We did not meet a single person that was not super helpful and friendly. We just moved our Mom into Bay Lake a couple of weeks ago and all of her children are very pleased. They have only a few employees that care. If you have enough money to have an additional private caregiver to make sure that the needs of your loved one is met then you will be fine. After paying all the money that we do we are unable to afford private care. It is really sad. You complain and nothing ever changes.

Our days consist of daily exercise, men’s club, gardening, outings, and walks to feed the turtles! When you Walk into Bay Lake you can tell by the smiles on the residents faces that they are truly given the best care Bay Lake has to offer. Bay Lake’s Life Enrichment department offers an extensive variety of activities on the property and in the community, there is always something new and exciting to do! Bay Lake offers a wonderful program called “RUI University” this program gives residents and community members an opportunity to continue their education through lifelong learning because well, why stop now? This program gives residents a chance to still challenge their mind and leave that day knowing they learned something new. We loved hearing about all the signature programs available. The memory care neighborhood was clean and inviting. The residents were all engaged in a baking activity in which we loved! The activities department does an amazing job of getting everyone engaged and the executive chef, Jerry, really goes the extra mile to make sure everyone is satisfied with their meals.
