We have looked at many facilities for my Dad. I wanted to leave a review to compliment April and her staff for arranging a tour promptly and keeping in touch after to follow-up. We really liked the home-like atmosphere at Brookdale Sussex and the kindness of the staff when we toured.

As a professional RN Care Manager, I have been to several senior living communities. Brookdale Sussex is a very home-like, cozy and friendly community. Because it is a smaller community, the staff really get to know the residents and their likes and dislikes. Robin the Executive Director is kind, competent and cares about each resident and staff member. I have trust in her to ensure each resident's care needs are met. To me, the care in a community is of the utmost importance, and they provide great care at Brookdale Sussex!

This community is great. INCREDIBLE leadership in Robin. Her professionalism and compassion are rare. It is obvious that she knows what she is doing. She shows genuine compassion for every resident, staff member and vistor she meets. Very refreshing to see.

A warm and caring facility with a great administrator Robin and nursing team Becky and Catherine. It is located in the quiet, safe town of Sussex and easy for us to get to. They are focused on quality of patient care and offer fun activities for seniors. They are always available to chat with for updates when visiting which we appreciate.

I am a current employee of Brookdale-Sussex. It is one of the most welcoming, caring communities in which I have ever worked. The staff work diligently to take care of their clientele with a kind, professional demeanor. Management does a wonderful job of ensuring patient and staff needs. Everyone is treated with respect, compassion, excellence, and integrity. I wouldnt want to work any where else.

We came to see the community for a tour and the person who was our guide did a good job and they were able to answer the questions I had and did well letting us see the community. My mom thought the room was too small for her. She wanted an apartment that she could call her own, not just a room. We had to look at another option.

My mother is still taking some time to adjust to her move into this community. However I do feel she is safe, and in good hands. I do feel comfortable with her move to this facility, I have no problem with it. It is a beautiful community with kind people. They provide good meals, and nice activities for the residents. Hopefully with some more time my mother becomes comfortable with this community, and I would recommend it to my friends, and family.
