My mom has been in the Atria Park Life Guidance Memory Care community for almost a year. Our goal was to find a clean, homey and safe environment and we found this at Atria. It has been a stressful time for our family, yet the Life Guidance director has been great at providing ongoing communication about her health and evolving care plan needs. The Activities Director does an excellent job navigating the different abilities levels, treating all the residents with dignity while bringing laughter and joy to the day. I also appreciate that she integrates the residents with the assisted living activities whenever it is possible. We visit often, so we also appreciate the excellent staff that manage the front desk and the energy they bring to help make our visits feel happy and cheerful, even on challenging days.

I toured a bunch of different assisted livings before finding Atria Park of Glen Ellyn. I knew as soon as I walked through the doors this is where I wanted Mom. The friendliness, love, HOME feel that it had and the compassion that all the staff have especially in the Life Guidance department. The memory care director Paige and activity specialist Valerie are wonderful and you can tell they love what they do. The care staff on every shift are all so loving, have deep compassion for what they do and have all been there for quit some time. The team is well trained, supported by Paige, and consistently delivers high quality care. Paige informs with any new updates and communicates very well and is attentive to any questions or concerns I have. The programming is wonderful and mom is always busy. I highly recommend this community to any one looking to place their loved one in an assisted living, specifically memory care. Truly the best of the best! I couldn't be happier with everyone there and knowing that mom is in such good hands. Thank you to everyone at Atria Park of Glen Ellyn.

If I can add more stars I would. I searched over 10 assisted living facilities with my niece. The SECOND we walked in to Atria Park of Glen Ellyn we knew this was the place for my parents. The warm feeling we got instantly. Every staff member has a ton of love and support for the residents. They are easy to get a hold of for anything my parents need. A True Home Where our Mother is Thriving Our mother moved to Atria Park of Glen Ellyn in the middle of last year, and it has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for her. When we were touring, we chose Atria because of its welcoming, homely atmosphere. It isn’t one of those massive, institutional facilities where a resident could easily get lost; instead, it feels like a community and home. On our first visit, we noticed how happy the residents looked, which was a sharp contrast to some of the places we toured. The change in our mother has been incredible. She is doing so much better here than she was when living alone in her house. All the staff and management”from the Event Director, Nurses and RSAs to the Dining Room staff and House Keeper”are simply amazing. She speaks of them often and clearly feels a personal connection with them. They are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to keep her engaged. She is no longer just sitting in her room; between the high-quality meals (she loves not having to cook!) and the packed social calendar, she is always on the move from morning exercise to Bingo and so many other activities and events. She has made many friends and her favorite summer pastime is sitting on the outdoor porch. If you are looking for a place that truly cares and treats your loved one like family, I highly recommend Atria Park of Glen Ellyn.

I first started going to Artia after connecting with their Sales Director Jennifer Costa She reached out to me to see if I would be interested in bringing my service dog to their residence. I have since been visiting Atria once a month with my therapy dog Ramses. Each time my experience there has been great. We visit with a group of residents who are always excited and happy to work with Ramses and I. The residence are always in great spirits and excited to try new things. The facility and the grounds are impressive and very well maintained. The staff are very attentive and caring in their interaction with the residents. Mrs. Costa in particular has been very helpful in assisting in my time there. She is often in the group assisting me in engaging residents with and it clear she has a very positive relationship with them as does Ms. Khan, who organizes the group. Overall I very much enjoy my visits and think they provide great services for their residents.

My wife moved on to the memory floor of Atria Park of Glen Ellyn about three months ago. The move was a difficult one for her as well as myself and our children, but the staff at Atria Park was outstanding in helping us handle everything. If I had to name everyone who helped this would be a very very long post, but I must mention Bill Hickey, Executive Director, and Gina Novello, Life Guidance Director, who were very helpful in the transition. On my wife's floor the entire staff has been great, but the reason for my post today is to acknowledge a part time care giver, Carissa. On Fridays and Saturdays the floors activity director is off. Sadly, on these days the residents don't have much to do other than watch TV. This past week, a caregiver, Carissa was there and decided to have activities including games, and karaoke. She had the residents singing, dancing, and laughing on both days. The residents on the memory floor have a lot of difficulties and Carissa was able to to give them hours of fun. THANK YOU CARISSA! Update: I wanted to share my recent experience regarding the care my wife has been receiving on her memory floor. Initially, I noticed some concerning issues with staff performance. On several occasions, during my visits, it seemed that the team was short-staffed due to last-minute call-ins. I even witnessed some caregivers reading books or using their phones instead of attending to the residents. However, things took a positive turn when Paige, the new Life Guidance Director, stepped in about three or four weeks ago. Within just two weeks, she effectively addressed the staffing issues and implemented improvements that have made a noticeable difference. The staff now appear better trained and more attentive to the needs of the residents. I am genuinely impressed with how quickly Paige was able to enhance the care provided. It’s reassuring to know that my wife is receiving the attention and support she deserves. Thank you, Paige, for your dedication and commitment to improving the quality of care!

We are very happy at Atria Park of Glen Ellyn. The nursing staff is outstanding, very competent and caring, from the Caregivers and Nurses to the Resident Services Supervisor and the Resident Services Director. They are always responsive to any questions and concerns of the residents. The Social/Transportation Director is exceptional, planning fun and interesting activities for the residents. The director organizes group bus outings and individual transportation for medical appointments. The programs and planning is always done with a smile. The restaurant provides tasty and nutritional meals for the residents. The dining staff is supportive and friendly and knows each resident's likes and dislikes. Quite a feat! The Executive Director is organized and competent, but needs to get to know the residents better and be more friendly and understanding towards them. Overall, a superior choice for seniors.

Atria Park has been a wonderful new home for my Mother who had to abruptly transition into assisted living. It is such a relief to have found such a pleasant and welcoming place for her. We were worried about how she would transition. But she did so almost seamlessly thanks to all of the good care she received. She often talks about how content she is and how warm and welcoming everyone is. Atria is also such a pleasant place to visit. Everyone greets family with kindness and attentiveness. The front desk personnel are lovely. But a special shout out to Margaret who truly brings such warmth, energy, elegance and gravitas to her iob. When I see her smile and open arms, it really feels like I have come to my Mom’s home. She is special and in many ways represents what is so statement making about Atria. She truly is a people person and loves her job. Every time I see her she is engaged with everyone around her. She combines love and energy with highest order professionalism. If you have a question, she has the answer. The front desk staff are so important. They are the gateway to all of the other amazing staff people who work at Atria and take of our loved ones. Could not be happier. We made the right choice.

Hello , I wanted to share my experience of the memory care unit at Atria Park in Glen Ellyn. I waited a little over two and a half months before I decided to post my review. My initial impressions of the memory care unit was near wonderful. However after 2 1/2 months and visiting my family member a little over 60 times (I guess I am still dealing with a fair amount of guilt), I have changed my rating to absolutely wonderful. The setting, the food, the set up in general is very nice, however I have learned the most important thing is the staff who worked there. From the janitor , the receptionist , all the wonderful aides, the nursing staff, the activity director, and including all the directors are truly caring people. My family member, fortunately, has made a very successful transition and is definitely feeling like she is at home. I am now sleeping well, but will continue to visit frequently. Could not be happier that we found Atria Park of Glen Ellyn! My mom moved into an assisted living apartment one month ago, directly from a 2 month stay in rehab. It was a very stressful time trying to find somewhere for her to live. I had the feeling this is the place when we toured the Atria Park community. We were told everyone there treats the residents like their own family members. It is so true. There is a genuine respect and love shown to the residents by ALL the employees, from the executive director and sales coordinator, the nurses and CNAs, the activity coordinators, receptionists, dining staff, housekeeping - everyone. There is also PT/OT/ST available on site, and they are all great as well. I appreciate how everyone has listened to me and my mom’s needs, and how they truly try to work with the family to provide the best care on an individualized basis. She can still have some independence, but the care is there for what she needs help with. I am also so impressed with all the scheduled activities and outings. I love it and my mom has adjusted well!

My mom requested assisted living after covid exasperated her her underlying health conditions. She did not want to be a burden on her children. Atria allowed her a respite visit of 2 weeks to try out the facility. She absolutely loved it! She moved in permanently after her two week respite. She has been there for about 1 and 1/2 years now. During this time mom's health declined and she required extra assistance. Atria's staff had no problem shifting gears and giving mom the extra care she needed. The staff treats mom with her dignity intact and insures all of her needs are taken care of. The staff represents themselves as guests in my mom's apartment and ensures everything is exactly as she likes it. All residents are provided an emergency pendant. Mom's mobility has dwindled in the last 6 months and needs assistance using the restroom. She pushes the emergency pendent when she needs to use the restroom and a caregiver arrives to assist her. The caregivers bring her to the dining room for meals, and the dining room staff assists with cutting up her meals if needed. It's a really nice dining room with a restaurant feel, not a cafeteria. It's all done with dignity and respect. The caregivers interact with the residence and really get to know them and their wants and needs. I visit mom 2 times a week. The caregivers and support staff have all taken the time to get to know me, my name and always say hello. The facility has an abundance of activities and entertainment for the residents too! Mom does not like to play bingo (crazy i know!) but does love the current events activity. They have a bus and take the residents shopping, out for lunch, xmas light tours, casino and all sorts of activities outside the community for those residence who fancy leaving for the afternoon. I have also utilized the bus to take mom to some of her Dr appointments as navigating transportation with a wheelchair can be difficult. The community also has physical therapist and occupational therapist offices at the community. They take care of getting any insurance approvals and extra footwork needed to use these services. They handle all of mom's medications too. From ordering refills to administering her prescriptions twice a day. I use to spend way too much time sorting pills into boxes and then worrying mom would remember to take the medication. Once Atria took over the meds, mom stabilized and I could see a big difference. No more "hoping" she took the pills when she was supposed to take them! Big relief for me! The caregivers also dress mom and get her ready for bed. They take care of mom's laundry and housekeeping cleans her apartment and bathroom. They also assist mom with showering. I love my mom, and want her to feel she is still independent. Atria has given that independence to her. I was overwhelmed as mom's caregiver and thanks to Atria not only is mom well cared for, with dignity and respect, I'm actually getting my life back! For anyone who is a caregiver, you know exactly what I mean! Now when I visit mom, we talk, have lunch and laugh. This is how I want to spend time with mom! I highly recommend Atria Park of Glen Ellyn!

My mom lived at Atria Park in Glen Ellyn for a little more than 2 years and absolutely loved it! As is typical, she was a bit apprehensive about a move from her home of over 35 years, but we found at Atria a friendly, helpful - even loving! - place. Mom moved in during COVID, and management and staff went above and beyond to help us navigate the local government mandates and stay fully connected with Mom. The staff was wonderful (I can’t single out any one caregiver, nurse or staff member because they are all fantastic!). Proactive and clearly interested in Mom’s care, our family was continuously pleased with the care provided. Mom passed away in early December, and I still feel welcome there (and I do often) - the other residents and staff have become friends. That’s the ethos of Atria you just feel at home. Mom and I would walk around the adjacent park (Newton Park) and, when approaching Atria, Mom would say Look at that place - it feels like home! She loved the architecture, floor plan (and the wide halls), the fact that it didn’t feel institutional, but more than anything else, the people. If you’re looking for a place that works well with families and treats residents with care and respect, I’d highly recommend Atria Park of Glen Ellyn!

I moved both my parents into Atria in 2014 when my Mom's dementia became unmanageable at home. My parents were lovingly cared for there for 5 years. They made Atria their home and enjoyed being a part of this wonderful community. My Mom passed away a year after they moved in and my Dad remained until his death a few months ago. The staff cares for those they serve and work very hard to make the residents feel at home and feel respected. The leadership team at Atria was always willing to listen to any concerns I had and worked with me to resolve any issues we faced. I am a very overly protective nurse daughter and a tough critic, but I would recommend Atria to anyone who seeks assisted living for themselves or their loved ones. Not only were my parents respected and loved I myself have made lifelong connections to many wonderful people.

My Mother has been staying here for over 4 years and they have taken care of her very well. I believe the level of care that she has received has attributed to her longevity of almost 90 years old. She always enjoys her meals and the only complaint is that it sometimes is too much food. The facility is always kept clean and maintained.
