Reviews Meadow Oaks of Roseville
May 2026
We moved my mother‑in‑law into Meadow Oaks of Roseville earlier this year, and the experience has been wonderful. The facility is beautiful, the staff is warm and attentive, and she has truly been enjoying her time there. Sheri, in particular, has gone above and beyond to support our family through this transition. The team helped coordinate video doctor visits and even visited my mother‑in‑law at her previous residence beforehand to get to know her and ensure Meadow Oaks would be the right fit. That extra effort made a huge difference, especially since she was initially hesitant about moving. Thanks to their care and compassion, her transition into memory care has been smooth, and she genuinely loves the people there. We’re grateful for the exceptional support and the peace of mind Meadow Oaks has given our family.

Tucked away in a quiet & lovely neighborhood in Roseville, California, is a little slice of heaven called Meadow Oaks. After evaluating many assisted living residences in the area, we couldn't be happier with our dad's decision to choose this place as his new home! Now that he has lived there for 18 months, we know he made the right decision. Although our dad was understandably apprehensive about leaving his home of 37 years, It didn't take long for him to adjust to his new lifestyle and begin to thrive more than we had seen in a long time. He not only enjoys the staff, but the food is something he raves about regularly. Rather than the typical cafeteria-type setting, the dining area feels more like a comfortable & clean restaurant, including a formal menu with various choices. Oh, and on the rare occasion when my dad does not want anything on the menu, they have plenty of additional food choices; Carrie & the kitchen staff are more than happy to accommodate. Our family has even eaten a few meals there with my dad. We found the food to be fresh and outstanding! If I had to pick the best thing about Meadow Oaks, it is the staff and the loving care they give each resident! Allison went out of her way to work with our family to find the most comfortable and cost-effective room & services to fit his needs. The entire staff is incredibly professional, with a genuine personal concern for all the residents. Even when it comes to extra help hanging pictures in dad's room, Dale, the facilities manager, is right there with a smile on his face, ready to assist. Knowing that our dad lives in a lovely clean place where he is so well cared for brings our family great peace and comfort. If you are searching for an assisted living residence near Roseville, look no further than Meadow Oaks because you won't find this level of love and care elsewhere!

My father-in-law has lived at Meadow Oaks for the past 18 months and he loves it! The staff are always kind and helpful, he loves the food and his room is very nice. The facility is clean and they have a lot of activities for the residents. My father-in-law runs the movies on Friday nights when the residents gather to watch a movie together. We are very pleased with the care he receives

A decent amount of parking in the immediate area. The staff was super friendly. I was a guest at a meeting here and they used the staff cooks to feed us and the food was terrific. It was a Taco Tuesday meeting and I was very happy I came to participate. Everything was clean there were great themed decorations for the community. I didnt know the previous management but the current staff are downright welcoming.

I toured Meadow Oaks with my mother and sister. The gal that gave us the tour was very sweet and intelligent on the community. My mother loved the dining room ( we came in during lunch). She saw a lot of people chatting and she remarked to me that made her happy. We all saw the 1 bedroom, studio and a larger studio. While the one bedroom was nice we feel that the bigger studio was what we needed. All in all a good little place. Mom liked that it was not huge and was one story.

I concur 100% with Mr. Laube's review. It is difficult to know what a place will be like until you live in it, and now that our mother has been in Alta Manor for a few months, we are not only pleased, we are grateful to have discovered this wonderful facility. Every staffperson is friendly, helpful, stops to visit with the residents, gives hugs, and they go out of their way to do whatever we need. They unfailingly call residents by name. And my mother's name is unusual, Leatha. But everybody calls her Leatha. They have wonderful activities, keeping mom busy far more than where she was before. They take residents on outings, exercise every morning, and games and events. But the best part is the caring attentive staff.

We searched the greater Sacramento area, searching first for a place that did not have the odor of old urine. Many of the other places, though most somewhat passed the smell test, nonetheless failed the dining/food, and resident care tests. My dog eats better that what the wife and I experienced at some of the other facilities. The staff, at most of the other facilities, called their residents by their room #''s. Hey folks, these people are still alive, have a name and deserve respect, not just a number. We observed the interaction between staff and residents. Most were polite to their residents, but only Alta Manor showed their true colors when it came to taking care of the people entrusted to them. We took "Mom Corinne L." to several other facilities before bringing her to Alta Manor. Here we were served a complimentary meal, in the restaurant style dining area. Mom was treated then and as always after as a treasured guest. Mom was won over and though she didn't want to go into a care facility, this was the place that she chose to spend her last days. Mom's loving character came out as she befriended other residents and staff. We spent considerable time at Alta Manor. Our Dad Robert L. came to be in the memory care area. Again, very pleasant staff, dedicated people who look at caring for the elderly with love and attention to detail. Attractive dining area and good food! Both of our parents are now deceased. Alta Manor accommodated Mom in her hospice days with love and care. This was extended to my wife and I as we were told that we could spend 24/7 with Mom in her room. The staff even took care of our meals. The Front office, cleaning, therapy, excursion, entertainment and the medical staff were all wonderful, courteous and very kind to Mom and Dad and to us. In closing, if you have someone that you dearly love and want only the very best care for them, Alta Manor is the place to check our, FIRST. You will see for yourselves what a difference Alta Manor will make when it comes to care for your loved one(s). Blessings. Konrad and San Laube.
