My mother moved into independent living last March. She had a one bedroom plus a den. The space was so much larger than anywhere else I had looked at a more than competitive price. There was more closet space than the other places my husband I scouted for her. She was happy to move there as she felt she needed some support and liked what she saw on her tour. She’s lived in several 55+ communities in 2 states so she knew what to look for. At first, she took PT, attended Bible study, went to chapel, and loved the food. Quickly her mobility declined she needed more support and we had to move her to a one bedroom assisted living apartment. The staff made this happen far more swiftly than we imagined possible and provided the needed support until her new apartment was available (assistance with dressing, etc.) I can’t tell you what this meant to me. She was accepted into hospice around this time. (Side note… call hospice as early as possible! Don’t wait for the bitter end. My mom lived about 6 months under their care so she never needed to leave her apartment to get medical care or assistive devices.) Anyway, the hospice and GP staff have a close working relationship and it made everything run smoothly. I would recommend Germantown Plantation to anyone without qualifications. The apartment are very nice, the food is excellent, and the staff CARES.

I absolutely love this place! The staff is so friendly and my grandfather never shuts up about the food. Very happy to know my grandfather is in a place that genuinely cares about its residents. Highly recommend!

I have visited many times. It is such a beautiful place, very friendly staff. Anything a resident would like to do is readily available be it, going to the puzzle room, movie theater, church, library, swimming pool and much more. It is so evident the residents are so happy and thriving there. Makes me want to move it, but I’m not old enough yet!

We moved my parents into Germantown Plantation about 5 weeks ago. The staff has been wonderful helping them get used to their new surroundings. Mom and Dad enjoy the food and their spacious apartment. Having them live there has taken a lot of worry off my shoulders knowing that they are getting plenty to eat, getting their medications dispensed on time and correctly, and knowing if there is need for assistance, it is readily available.

This is a wonderful place for seniors to live. They provide a lot of activities for them to participate in. The staff is wonderful! They are always smiling, helping and keeping a close eye on the residents.

While my mom was a resident at Germantown Community she loved it. The facility is geared towards independent senior living. Once her Alzheimer's got to bad to be taken care of we had to move her out. Our whole experience with Germantown and the staff was amazing.

I am looking forward to the spring flowers that Germantown plants. It is a clean and pretty campus. The groundskeepers do a nice job. My mother has a nice one bedroom apartment. It is roomy and bright. She has been very happy with the service too.
