I recently moved my mother who has dementia into the Grand Villa of Englewood assisted living facility. The team at Grand Villa, including Jean, Regina and Marilyn made the transition very easy. They took great care of her and to make sure that we had everything she needed to be happy in her new home. They introduced her to current residents and the on staff nurses welcomed her within the first hour, she was there. My mother was very hesitant and had a high level of anxiety about the move, but the team made it a smooth transition. She’s been there about a week and absolutely loves it. I highly recommend Grand Villa of Englewood. Five star!!

I recently toured Grand Villa of Englewood and was so impressed with the Memory Care community. The building has been completely renovated, so everything is brand new”bright, cheerful, welcoming, and spacious. What stood out even more was the caring team. The Activities Director and Care Staff truly go above and beyond to make every resident feel valued, engaged, and loved. You can genuinely feel the "family atmosphere" from the moment you walk in. When the time comes, Grand Villa will definitely be at the top of my list for my Dad.

Jean was professional, inviting, personable, attentive, kind, sympathetic, and understanding. She was thorough in her presentation while active listening. Went above and beyond providing Medicare assistance and points of contact with phone numbers and names. The tour was pleasant and pleasingly clean with no strange odors or pungent smells. Impressive. Staff were positive, friendly, and upbeat. Residents seem to enjoy the food and lingered long after in conversation with each other. I wanted to leave a review for Grand Villa of Englewood because this facility is far superior to others we considered for my mother-in-law. She moved into memory care about three weeks ago and from the very first day of the tour with Jean, it was clear what an exceptional place this is. Jean went out of her way to help us through the entire admissions process and all of the details that come with it. You truly feel that you are not alone in making such a huge life decision. The facility and grounds are clean and extremely well kept. The rooms are bright, cheerful and very homey. From day one, we knew that my mother-in-law was in excellent hands. All of the staff I have encountered are loving, engaged and invested in my mother-in-law. They work closely with the family to provide the best quality of life, no matter what stage your loved one is in. There is always something for them to do during the day and all of the staff go out of their way to make every resident feel welcome and part of the "family". This place is a true blessing.

Toured Grand Villa memory care prior to their Grand Opening in search of respite care for mom. I had cared for mom over the last ten years, it was a very difficult decision but after visiting and meeting with Kurt and other staff I felt comfortable for the first time after visiting care facilities. Mom was the first resident after the Grand Opening and the entire care team are all wonderful. I've grown to know the staff and other residents personally and we couldn't be happier, so much so that after the initial respite mom became a full-time resident! If and when any concerns arise the communication has been timely and staff is very responsive! I feel we have found a place for mom to call home. Im very protective of my mom, retired law enforcement, and I feel comfortable with her care and safety. If you're in need and looking, go tour and visit a few times. You will see a brand new facility, great staff and a commitment to continuously provide excellent care and ways to improve upon the quality of life for all residents!

I am so happy that we looked into the Grand Villa of Englewood. From our first tour, there was a special feeling. Mom has been here since the end of June, and is so happy. The care she receives is fabulous. I tell everyone that the care is not just hands on, but hands on with lots of LOVE. The dedicated staff go above and beyond to make sure each resident is happy, healthy and thriving. Everyone is family here, staff, residents, and the family of residents. I can honestly recommend the Grand Villa of Englewood to anyone without any hesitation. This is the perfect atmosphere for your loved ones. My 97 year old Mom is a testimony to the care given at Grand Villa. Just come for a visit and tour, I know you will feel the same way. Hope to see you there!

The entire staff at Grand Villas of Englewood are wonderful. From the first day we started our process of moving my mother in law into an assisted living, the Grand Villas went over and beyond with all their help and advice. Since we are all in another state, I cannot say how much we appreciate the wonderful care they give to our family member as well as all the help when they had to move them all the times due to hurricanes and then to place them in other facilities when Englewood was not livable. the communication during those stressful times was great from calls to texts, it allowed us a peace of mind knowing she was so well cared for and safe. We are so happy to have her back at her original home, but all the other Grand Villas have been just a wonderful. The activities are wonderful and the entertainment great. The communication from them to us for all her needs is terrific. They always help with anything we request. They truly are a wonderful place to have a loved one live. We appreciate all they do. What a comeback! After a difficult period following the hurricane, the staff and community around Grand Villa of Englewood wasted no time in getting organized and back on their feet to continue providing the unrivaled care and genuine concern for the residents. The building and grounds have been refreshed, and it is stunning. Aside from the beautiful, well-appointed, and amenity-rich building, the staff, and sense of community here are likely the first things you’ll notice. The entire staff is so wonderful, committed, and caring. But, to point out a few shining examples, Jennifer Perry (Wellness Director), Marilyn Jacobs (Executive Director), Kurt Greenlow (Senior Leasing Coordinator), and Sherry Fierro (Business Office Coordinator), who are at the helm, have such noticeable compassion and investment. Finally, having been able to taste the food being made in the kitchen, I can also attest to chef Allen being top-notch. Anyone would be very fortunate to live here!

Couldn't help noticing ALL the 5 star reviews on website. I have lived at GV, Englewood just over 4 years and I COMPLETELY AGREE!!! Have been in 2 other Assisted Livings (up north) and GV Englewood is "head and shoulders" above them! Why? For ME, the campus set-up (i.e., you leave your room or "apartment" and you are out in the fresh air not a crowded stuffy hallway) and more importantly, THE STAFF!! Staff seems to TRULY CARE about residents...I mean REALLY CARE!!! Staff is outstanding!! Highly recommend GV Englewood to anyone looking for Assisted/Independent Living!

October 1st was my 4 year anniversary at the Great GV of Englewood!! Been in 2 prior Assisted Livings (up north). They did not even come close to comparing with Grand Villa of Englewood! Having been all my career with a Fortune 500 company, I've come to expect a few "bad apples" on staff. Not here! Every employee gets a gold medal! Seriously, come live at GV. The staff as fabulous, the setting is fabulous, activities are fabulous!!! I am only 62, younger than most here, and/but I love it!!!!

My mother enter Grand Villa of Englewood 3 weeks prior to the COVID-19 with Dementia & recovering from a broken hip. It was devastating for my sister & I not to be able to go in to see her. But Head Director,Lori and the staff kept all the residents families informed what was happening with our love ones. We were encouraged to visit at my moms window. Everyone that works there has bend over backwards to answer our question to keep us informed. Their top priority is to keep the residents safe but they knew how hard it’s been on the resident mentally. Lori and the PA’s & other staff checked in with each one to talk with them & to make sure they understand what is going on. Window visitation was set up for love ones to see & visit. They held drive by parades. Then finally with approval families got to go inside with a lot of well thought out planning & preparation.We just can’t say enough how grateful we are for such a wonderful place to care for our mom. They’re like family. You can see how much they care. Residents can stay busy with many different activities to pick from. When things get back to normal , we’ll be able to schedule a time to have lunch or dinner with mom. We can’t wait. But until then ,we know our mom is in the best place.. it truly looks like home and feels like family. Thank-you so much for caring for our mom and for us too. Debbie

Our experience with Lori, Hattie and all the staff at Grand Villa of Englewood has been great. I can’t say enough about all they have done! They have been a God send. The staff continues every day to work with and for the residents. They all are very dedicated to the residents and truly look out for them. The Grand Villa Senior Living Community in Englewood should be an example for all senior living facilities across the country. My husband Neal has spent some time this winter in the Memory Care unit with excellent caring, thoughtful and very respectful staff. As you enter the main facility you are greeted by beautiful plants, flowers and trees on each side of the walkway! It’s so welcoming! The front desk staff always greet you with smiles! And, Neal is greeted by his name and usually a hug... he has lingering smiles for everyone! There are daily activities for ll interests, snacks and meals available. A very popular event for him And the residents is the Bluegrass band. Lots of musical activities, sing alongs and dancing for those who wish. KImberly is the Memory Care Program Specialists.... adorable, compassionate, very warm, great personality and loved! We will be looking for a Senior Community.... as this in our journey out of state.
