My Mom was in Brookdale in Moses Lake for 10 months until a family member decided to take her to her home. She was treated with respect and care while she was there. I truly appreciate everyone who made her feel safe and cared for while she was there. Melinda in the office was so helpful through the entire journey and it was evident that she truly cares, I appreciate you all!

Hearthstone has been a blessing for our family. The facility and grounds are always well kept and clean. Staff is so friendly and pleasant. They seem to know every resident by name. Each time I go to visit, they know right where my grandma is and always greet me with a cheerful welcome. There are many activities and chaperoned excursions for the residents to keep them active and safe. I am so appreciative of the care and support they provide for our Grandma. I highly recommend Brookdale Hearthstone.

I recently attended the Business Afterhours/Purple Party event. What an impressive facility! This is a location that I would not mind staying in when that time comes for me. It has a very warm welcoming feeling when you walk into the door. Thank you for the opportunity to visit this facility.

I recently visited for the purple party event and I was so impressed with the facility, the staff and the overall environment. It was clean and bright with nice homey touches. Residents were happy and I enjoyed watching the interaction with them and the staff. I also have had personal experiences with the Director and can’t say enough good things.

They have made the changes to the staff and culture that needed to be made! The associates that are currently there have serving hearts. We recently moved my mother in law to Brookdale in Moses Lake. It was time for more help. Unfortunately she declined rapidly, so we, unwittingly, really put the staff through their paces. They were amazing. Mom had the best care. The staff was gentle, attentive and dedicated to her comfort. They tried to tempt her with a variety of meals and encouraged her with a choice of fluids. We are very grateful to them for the marvelous care they provided. In addition to the care her apartment was perfect.

Brookdale Hearthstone of Moses Lake has been a great place for my aging parents to call home. Nursing and support staff has gone above and beyond to make sure that mom and dad are adjusting well. It is evident that all staff have a passion for caring for others. I understand that sometimes they put in long hours and staffing levels can be challenging as stated in previous reviews. Unfortunately, there isn't a huge number of people who desire to care for others in this capacity - it is a small group of people with the gift and passion to do so. It is very evident that Brookdale Hearthstone's mission is to find and retain employees who have a passion for caring for others. You can see it in the smile on their faces every time I walk in. Highly recommend Brookdale Hearthstone.

My mom lived there for a year until she recently moved to another assisted living residence in Moses Lake. Unfortunately, the corporation is more about their bottom line than maintaining a quality residence. Residents aren't receiving the services they are paying for. Monthly rent and fees are high. Not enough staff to ensure quality of care for residents, staff turnover is high, quality of food and cleanliness of facility is low, minimal activities for residence. Although the existing staff are friendly and try to do a good job,it doesn't seem the corporation cares about quality, or care for residents ,their living environment,or the staff.

My father was there for a short time. No communication, except one nurse or front counter. Lunch,dinner always late. Room never cleaned. Aids were not very hospitable.

Most everyone will have to consider assisted living for either a parent, spouse, sibling or themselves at some point in their lifetime. A few things they need to take into consideration are, location, and staffing, what is included in the cost and how the already in place residents are treated. Staffing personalities and training is something to consider, if everyone is frowning there's something wrong. Brookdale hearthstone staffing is quite personable and seemed to be fully trained. They also take the time to ask the residents, or family members, what else they xan do for them.
