My son was in the memory care unit for five months. We just moved to another facility on October 1st. The staff turnover is high. There are only two caregivers plus a med tech during the day (two caregivers at night). We are talking two caregivers to take care of 23 people or more. The TV in the main living area can only play music from 8-5, you can only watch TV in your room. There are some crazy rules. My suggestion is to talk to some of the family members who are there regularly and see how things really are. All the caregivers are really great, but there need to be more for the residents to get the care they need and deserve. They also went up $750 per month (after only 5 months) no added benefits. Again check with family members.

This is a great community. The staff is very friendly and caring. It is always clean and smells clean. The food is good, they have great activities and they have done a lot of upgrades to the building and it looks really nice.

The Waterford at Baytown is an excellent place for loved ones to be! I am a physical therapist that comes to work with patients here 1-2 times a week and every time the staff is nice, friendly, and takes good care of the residents. I've gone to many assisted living facilities, but this one is one of the best! I highly recommend this place! May God continue to bless this facility in Jesus name!

I have lived here for 1 year, and I have made so many friends. We are just like a huge family. There is so much to do everyday with our activities director (Julie M.). She keeps us all busy playing Bingo, Dominoes, planting flowers, and so much fun stuff. The staff are always so sweet and ready to lend a helping hand. It is a great place for your loved ones to be. The Waterford is such a beautiful comfortable place for my brother to live. Everyone makes you feel right at home. He was in a wheel chair the first six months and now he uses a walker & enjoys visiting with other guests and staff.

The staff was very helpful and made it fun to participate in our churches day of service. The activity room was great, the residents were wanting to participate which is awesome, community is so important! It smelled good in there too. I would like to see better care taken with mom's clothes and things. Everything she owns has a label sewn into it, but I found a large box full of items that weren't hers stuffed into the bottom of her armoire. She wasn't even wearing her own clothes today. She isn't in the wheelchair I bought her, but thankfully, she is in a wheelchair although I have no idea where it came from. There was some kind of pad under her bed with vomit all over it. I had to get her a new mattress because hers had been peed on so much.

My Dad moved into The Waterford 3 weeks ago after recovering from a stroke and spending time in a rehab facility. He is 98 and until now has lived alone in his own home. You would think this would be a most difficult transition. But it has not been thanks to the friendly helpful staff who are always right there encouraging him and ready to help. Not only the staff, but the residents have been so inclusive and friendly to him. His apartment is very nice. The dining room is well appointed and the food is good. His meds are given to him so I don't have to worry about him forgetting his meds. He is checked on often during the day. Management was very accommodating when we were trying to decide what move to make, starting with Catina Gallaspy, Sales Director, who was very accommodating and answered all our questions. Todate our every concern and need has been addressed. I am so grateful that we found the Waterford for my Dad.

We moved my father into the memory care unit here at the Waterford and even though his time was short the staff was wonderful. His first night there they made him feel comfortable enough to eat in the dining room (he didn’t really like interacting with people once he was sick) where the chef actually came out and talked to him about things he liked to eat and things he didn’t like. Andrew at the front desk always greeted you with a smile and was very friendly and helpful. The Director Of Nursing, Shameka, in the memory care unit was the sweetest and you can tell that she really cares about the residents. Both Catina and Dena in the office were very helpful with working with Hospice to get everything needed to move him in and were also very understanding and calming for us when we were dealing with difficulties. They made the transfer go smoother on our end than it probably actually was and we very much appreciated it. I would highly recommend the Waterford for anyone who needs memory care for their loved ones. We did not get to see the Assisted Living or Independent side but if they are anything like the staff we encountered they will be wonderful as well.

The Waterford is an excellent assisted living option for your loved one. There is freedom to move around in a safe environment. The residents are treated equally the same, regardless financial status. My granddaughter and I love to attend the family events and meet the other residents families and play games.

The residents are so happy here. What Ive noticed about the Waterford is how everyone takes interest in each residents needs from the kitchen staff to house keeping to the nursing staff. The staff has personal connection with each resident, there is always an activity planned and the food is exquisite!! The rooms are uniquely tailored to each residents personal style. This Waterford is definitely a place to call home.

This place has taken great care of my grandmother. They stay on top of making sure she has taken all of her medications, and she enjoys the company of the residents and nurse staff.
