My inlaws are currently living at Putnam Farm in assisted living, and we have had a lot of problems getting help for them. In particular, we are finding it quite dificult to track down the care manager to get answers and assistance. Some specifics... When we decided my mother-in-law needed medication management for her to take the stronger pain medicine she needed, it took about 2 weeks to get that started. During that 2 weeks, we needed to keep her on tylenol alone, and she was still in pain. We have witnessed aides able to ignore obvious sanitary issues on a few occasions. We are also disappointed in the lack of progress and personal attention to address a pressing nutritional need my mother-in-law currently has. I am giving one extra star for the quick response to our request for food delivery, the wonderful aide who so gently and carefully has helped my father-in-law back into his wheelchair from the floor on a few occasions, and the lovely aide who so carefully gives my mother-in-law her showers.

Putnam Farm is an amazing place. I am so grateful for the care given to my father during his two years living there. I am indebted to them for treating him as family. The care, activities, and food are all wonderful too. The best thing about Putnam is the staff they make it a home.
