Best decision we could have made. We moved for the comprehensive health care options, 18 holes of golf, maintenance-free living, large apartments with reasonable wait-list, expansive views of nature from the apartment and the walking trails, and excellent quality and variety of food. We are staying for all of the above reasons plus friends, exceptional educational and fitness programs, and the professional caring staff.

Seven years ago, I visited a friend in Naples who had recently purchased an apartment at Bentley Village. At the time, I had no interest of leaving Connecticut. My friend encouraged me to meet with Sales and tour the apartments, and although I resisted at first, I eventually agreed. I was immediately impressed and soon after, I became a Bentley Village resident. I still feel as though I am living in a resort. The golf course is beautiful and challenging, the fitness center classes are exceptional, and there is even tennis and bocce. The restaurants serve wonderful food, and the wide range of activities makes it easy to meet people and build lasting friendships. Bentley Village is a wonderful place for singles, and chosing to live here has been one of the best decisions I have ever made.

It was a big decision moving into a CCC community and a number of them available to choose from in my area. Having been here almost two years now I can honestly say coming to Bentley Village has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Sure the location and facilities are excellent but they can be bought. It’s the employees that puts BV over the top. I often ask them the same question which is How do you like your job? Without an exception they have all said it’s wonderful. They love it! That shows up in the way they perform their duties. And more than that it shows up in the way the residents treat the employees. With respect and consideration. That works both ways to everyone’s benefit. We hadn’t seen ourselves as needing - or near ready for - a move to Senior housing (both healthy and active in our early 80s), but Vi at Bentley Village has worked out far better than we expected. We liked what we saw of its grounds and facilities on our first tour, and, although we knew no one in the community, making new friends and sharing life experiences with interesting people proved easy “ and rewarding. Our family and we knew very soon after our move that it was the right call “ and Bentley Village was the right place for us. Rather than slowing down and settling into a sedentary lifestyle, we’ve become - mentally and physically - fully participating residents. Independent Living in a CCRC is so much less stressful when you know that, if and when you need more assistance, it has already been arranged. The Bentley phase’ of our lives is proving to be far more beneficial than expected. Fitness Center classes, Personal Training sessions, golf rounds at its 18-hole par-3 course, and walks and biking on its paths around its numerous lakes challenges and satisfys all our physical needs. It's regular FGCU lectures and other presentations, and serving as a Trustee on the Bentley Foundation to promote and fund its scholarship programs and campus/community outreach programs, has been fulfilling. Being closely involved in initiating a scholarship Grant Program with the North Collier Fire Academy and Florida Southwestern State to train, educate, and qualify firefighters/EMTs to serve both the Bentley Village campus and the broader community in Collier County as First Responders has been a very rewarding endeavor, particularly as the Bentley Village residents have rallied to financially support this as a community outreach program. Trite as the expression is on tee shirts, at Bentley Village the expression is apt - Life is Good.

We moved to Bentley Village in January 2025. We chose Bentley Village after visiting multiple continuing Care retirement communities in Southwest Florida. While not necessarily the most affordable, Bentley Village offered what we considered more bang for the buck. Starting with the variety of floor plans and pricing coupled with the dining options, and campus layout to include an18 hole par three golf course. Bentley Village offered all the amenities that we desired. One significant event was when we were going through the orientation, Bentley Village had residences who shared their experience and why they chose Bentley Village. No other retirement community we visited provided that experience. Hearing directly from those who actually live here was extremely helpful in making our decision. Starting with the sales staff who were able to answer every question and provide knowledgeable answers to the moving planners and all those involved in us getting settled everything was first class. During the last 18 months that we have lived in Bentley Village things have all gotten better. There are five different dining locations each with a full and different menu. Activities include everything from tennis to playing cards.There is virtually something here for everyone. The activities are too numerous to name them all but there is something for everyone. In the 18 months that we have lived here, we have met many residents through dining experiences or activities. We have virtually met no one who has expressed a regret for choosing to live here. We cannot praise the staff enough. Every staff member that we have met or dealt with has been first class. They go out of their way to answer questions and provide excellent service. As a veteran, I am personally Involved with the Bentley Village Veterans Association, which does an excellent job in bringing Bentley Village Veterans together for a variety of events. In summary, we feel blessed to have decided to live here and would highly recommend anyone considering a continuing care retirement community to give Bentley village an opportunity to show What they have to offer.

I have lived at Bentley for over 2 years and I couldn’t be happier. We have 150 acres to explore and enjoy - golf, birding, walking. Our fitness center is exceptional - always helping us advance ourselves both physically and mentally. People - Management, staff and residents are very warm and inviting. It’s an amazingly comforting and relaxing, fun community. Food - we have 3 restaurants and a bistro. There are weekly and daily menus - with incredibly diverse offerings. F&B is very open to suggestions and want to give you the healthiest, best food they can to keep us healthy and happy. Management is very open - we have a resident council to act as liaison and give us all up to date feedback on everything. All health facilities are very new and up to date. We are very well taken care of during hurricane season, always kept up to date on weather events and get us out of here if necessary. Can you tell - I’m very happy here!! BT

My husband and I have been at Bentley for almost eight years. We have many friends here from our prior community and have made many more since. It is a very active community and there is simply not enough time to do everything that is available. The grounds are beautiful plus we have a beautiful par 3 golf course! Golf, tennis, bocce, croquet and miles of walking paths encourage residents to spend time outdoors. We have an exceptional gym and fitness center staffed by fully engaged staff! Residents also invest time and talent in many ways...resident council, the library, foundation, tutoring programs and more! Residents are friendly and sharing. Are we happy here? You bet!

After considering over ten CCRCs between Sarasota and Naples, Vi at Bentley Village was our choice We are happy to be young enough to enjoy the walking trails and resort style amenities. The campus and buildings are well built and properly maintained with quality health care for life. I am in my 6th year living at Bentley Village. I am surrounded by friendly residents and kind staff. There are acres of greenery Flowering trees, and nature to absorb and observe. I ride my bike throughout the campus regularly. Bently focuses on aging in a healthy way with fitness and fitness classes, golf, tennis, bocce and other endless activities for the mind and body. Sadly, I lost my husband almost 2 years ago. I know that living at Bentley has made it much easier for me to adapt to my new life without my life partner and best friend. The staff is truly unbelievably kind, considerate and helpful. Everyone is your friend. Vi is a wonderful warm place to enjoy your later years. I feel so blessed.

My husband and I have lived at Bentley for 10 1/2 years! We would make the same choice again. We had looked at many other retirement communities in the area, all over Florida and other states. One of the main reasons we chose Bentley was that the residents and staff are extremely friendly. Bentley is like living at a resort... golf, tennis, boccie, 12 miles of walking/jogging paths, fitness center and classes, trainers, 3 restaurants, 3 bars, a coffee shop, salon/spa, weekly house keeping, shaded lap pool and another pool, Jacuzzi, movie theater, dances, educational programs, guest speakers, church services, botanical garden, library, card room, craft room, bank, golf simulators and more. There is something for everyone if you chose to participate. The staff is excellent. Call maintenance if you need a light bulb changed. Everyone goes out of their way to keep us healthy and happy!

I moved into Bentley almost a year ago and I can say that Bentley delivers as advertised. Professional and friendly staff, a strong maintenance program, a wealth of activities including fitness, and satisfying dining facilities all complement the wide range of residence choices. In the years before I came here and since, I know of only one resident who wasn't happy with the decision to make this close community the next living space - others say "It's like living on a cruise ship that never leaves port...: and "it's like summer camp for grownups!" I look forward to seeing more of my friends become Bentley residents in the future.

My mom stayed at Vi for about a month after her hip replacement, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. The staff was so attentive, kind, and truly caring”they listened, understood, and always responded quickly to her needs. Vi is very beautiful - clean and comfortable, which gave us peace of mind. She received wonderful physical therapy, occupational therapy, and nutritional counseling, and thanks to the excellent care and encouragement, she got stronger very quickly. We are so grateful for the compassion and professionalism of everyone there. I highly recommend Vi.

My husband and I moved to Bentley Village late in 2015, just as construction of the new East Clubhouse was nearing completion. We go to the Clubhouse for its dining rooms, for concerts, presentations, special events, etc. But for me, the heart of the East Clubhouse is its beautiful library. It's a true working library staffed by resident volunteers, and I love it there. It's my favorite spot!

AMAZING PLACE TO LIVE!!! Moving here was the best decision we have ever made. The staff, facilities, landscaping, events and activities are all top notch. We feel like we’re on a permanent vacation (don’t have to think about or shop for dinner, eat out every evening, no home repairs) all we do is play!!! The two clubhouses that are on par with high end country clubs. Also, the gym is excellent--weight machines programmed to your house key (no need to remember weights/setup.) Exercise classes for all levels and state-of-the-art aerobic equipment and a highly qualified and friendly staff. There is a very active veterans group with over 120 members. The group sponsors monthly meetings, outings and organizes Honor Flights to Washington DC. The par 54 golf course is fun and a real challenge. Lots of open play, league play, couple’s groups and special events. Additionally, there are three golf pros and a two-bay high-tech golf simulator. There are three restaurants, all of which serve meals that are much better than what we had anticipated. It’s like being on a high-end cruise shipeither formal dining, or upscale dining, or casual dining with poolside and patio options There is a saying here better 5 years too early than 5 minutes too late. What we would add is DON’T WAIT!!

We already knew many residents from our previous community, Bonita Bay. But we are also quickly making new friendships. I have been a resident at Bentley for 8 years and have never looked back. It has clearly been the right decision for me and my wife. Bentley fulfills the generally accepted criteria needed for healthy aging: Options for exercising the brain and body, plenty of opportunities for social inter action, available healthy meal choices, on site health care, graded level of support depending on need and most importantly having fun. My husband, John and I have a motto that states, "Better five years too early than one day too late!" That was the impetus to investigate a move into Vi at Bentley Village. We have just moved into one of the new apartments and could not be happier. It suits our needs beautifully and is a joy to inhabit. New neighbors are friendly and reach out. Activities are plentiful with classes and lectures from FGCU regularly, and the thoughtfully designed par 3 golf course is beautifully maintained and calling to us. The staff is very friendly and so helpful whenever needed from Administration to Housekeeping and Maintenance. AND the food in the dining rooms is not only delicious, but beautifully prepared and presented. We look forward to many happy years ahead in our new home.

I lived in Bonita Bay for 34 years, and it was wonderful. Many of our friends had opted to move to other communities in their retirement years. Apparently, we were destined to follow them because, out of the blue, we got an offer for our home we could not refuse. We had some doubts about the move but, after being at Bentley for 6 weeks we can broadcast to the world that we are happier than we could ever have expected. At age 95 I have found the golf program at Bentley Village to be one of the best available at any CCRC. The Pro Shop staff is excellent and the Course perfectly maintained. (Got my 2 " hole in ones" here)! Several years ago we formed a "Coffee with Comrades" veterans group with a dozen participants. It has now become "Bentley Veterans Association" with a hundred members. The programs on and off campus are very well received.

My mother lived in Bentley Village until she was 100, and my in-laws lived in BV until they were 97 and 99. Over my 23 year involvement with BV, I never had one issue!!! When my husband and I became age eligible (!) I spearheaded the decision to move here. John was very resistant in spite of the reality that our parents were so very happy here. Ultimately he agreed to the move, and we are both so pleased with our new space. We are both fortunate as we are healthy and involved in many activities. We will be snowbirds in Grosse Pointe, Michigan where we have family and friends. We now take life one year at a time. I have been a Bentley Village resident for more than ten years and I continue to be happy with my choice of a retirement home. Sure, there are hiccups from time to time, but that is to be expected. The facilities are lovely. The food is really poor at best. We moved here to enjoy our retirement and cooking each day was not in the plan. Requests and suggestions fall on deaf ears. This is not 5 star.
