I have a friend who suffered a stroke and was going to need assisted living for a while. From my first phone call, I knew this was the right place for him. The staff is all so friendly. The place is clean and well maintained. My friend loves the food and all the activities. He has made several friends. If I ever need assisted living, this is where I want to be.

If you look carefully almost every senior care facility will have issues they need to address, but I have to rate Stoney Ridge very highly. My husband spent over two years at Stoney Ridge and received wonderful care from all the members of the Stoney Ridge Family. His needs have unfortunately exceeded the care capabilities there and his medical situation has now forced a move to a skilled care facility. We both can’t thank each and every member of the staff for their kind care!!!

My sister recently passed away after being a resident at Stoney Ridge Elmcroft in my heart for 3-1/2 years. There’s not enough words to describe the loving/ caring staff at this facility. I give this place pass 5 stars. They clean everything never a messy place in the whole building. They really have great things to do for the family members that live there on top of visiting. When my Aunt first got there it was nice and she loved eating with friends in the dining room. Unsettling, one time I walked in and her friends told me that she did not come down for dinner. I went to her room and she said she had fallen asleep so she missed dinner. I asked her if she was hungry she said yes but she didn't want to bother anyone. I went and asked for dinner to be brought to her. They brought her a cold piece of pizza and some iceberg lettuce. She didn't eat it and I was applaud (they didn't even heat up the pizza). Scary since covid-19 we couldn't check on our loved ones. She went to the memory unit and it was awful. She cried every time I went to visit her. Her son flew in from FL and was aloud to go to her room, he asked me where her tv was. When he asked the people working there they said they didn't know. When we mentioned we would call the police and mention theft, they found the tv and hooked it back up. When she died they said they would mail her stuff to my mothers house. She got a cat with no batteries a bathing suite, towels etc. etc. things did not belong to her. She did have a keurig that he son bought her that we were hoping to get back but they said they didn't know where it was, it was missing. Very disappointed. I will just add, I don't know of any place that I have been thrilled with. I have had my father-in-law, aunts, uncles, and friends in nursing home and it has been a upsetting deal. Covid-19 has made it so much worse. I do think all nursing homes/assisted living places need cameras especially in the memory unit. There any many caring hard working people that work with the assisted living facility's. I don't think they have enough people working and it would help family's if they could check in on them through a camera. Just saying

Our Daughter Debra Nagle has been a resident at Elmcroft Washington Township since July 2019 - She is receiving excellent care - Nurses and Staff are very friendly, efficient and make Deb feel like she is at home - Food is very good, according to Deb and cleanliness is a high priority - The only difficulty I have is in having staff return my call or do a follow up call when requested - Otherwise we are very happy that we chose Elmcroft for our Daughter

Elmcroft has the most caring staff! Every resident is clean and well taken care of! The activities are wonderful and always inclusive to every resident! The building is extremely clean and well managed! I 100% recommend Elmcroft to anyone looking for an assisted living or memory care facility!

My mom spent 7 months at Elmcroft and then another year in a facility that specialized in memory care. My mom had dementia. My father in law was at Elmcroft for about a year and a half five years ago. Elmcroft provided acceptable care for my father in law and the same in the beginning for my mother. As my mother’s dementia got worse, Elmcroft was unable to deal with her. The memory care facility, Symphony, was far superior to Elmcroft, but at $1100 more per month. Worth every penny for my mom. If less care is needed and money is an issue, then Elmcroft may work. Elmcroft’s facility needs updated. The carpet retains urine smells that are permanent. The hotel style HVAC units in the room are noisy and hard to get to maintain a good temperature. And the residents aren’t locked out from changing the settings.

I put my Aunt in this facility 4 years ago after she had a stroke and needed the assisted living and the memory care as she also had early signs of dementia well as assisted living. I knew it was only a matter of time for her memory and I wanted a place that could accommodate her thru this change of her life. I also picked this facility because they were a medicaid accepting facility after 18 mos of private pay, and there was a good chance her private funds would run out before she needed to go to a nursing home. Now, that time has come and this facility has proven to me that they have no compassion for their residents. Not the people working there, the owners. I am just told they have their medicaid waiver quota and are not accepting any more. When I enrolled I was not told there could be an issue with medicaid down the road, so I felt comfortable my Aunt would have her forever home until she could not take care of herself any longer. They are now telling me this 85 year old woman who can't remember much but the familiar faces she see's there everyday, needs to leave. They totally have no care or thought of the trauma they will put this woman thru to re-locate her to a strange place. I even wrote an email to the corporate person, a Ms. Sharp, telling her about my Aunt so she might think of her as a person, and asking her to re-consider acceptance of the medicaid waiver. I never even got a courtesy response. This facility is now owned by Eclipse Senior Living. I would think twice about any facility they own before you put your loved one there.

I seriously can never thank ElmCroft enough for how much they help our family! From being scared and nervous for even putting my grandma and aunt there to begin with... they made the transition as smooth as possible... comforted us with their care for them both since we could not do it all of the time. Always keeping us up to date on what was going on.... and having the patience for them. They always have been so helpful and kind hearted. They kept my grandma comfortable during her last year or so. And now they are doing their very best for Aunt Patty. ’” Today, mom &I grabbed the last few pieces of furniture of grandmas and all of her clothes. (Her clothes is one of the hardest for me). & when we showed up.... Mike, Ulti & David were there waiting with carts and hands ready to help. They loaded it all for us and didnt even want us to lift her bags of clothes. It is those little things that when your heart is so broken they help so much. I can never say thank you enough. Or express enough gratitude. If you ever need an amazing place for your family member to be taken care of and comfortable Elmcroft of Washington Township is the best ! They are truly angels on earth helping us families who need it for our loved ones.

my mother n law and sister n law live together their. both having different medical / mental & disabilities. They have stayed there approx 6mths now. We are extremely happy with the care that everyone gives.. from the receptionist. nurses, handy man. aids etc etc. do what ever needs to be done to accommadate theirs needs. I would highly recomment this assisted living home to anyone . I truely believe that every person working there shows the same love and understanding and compassion of True caring for our family. My mother-in-law lived here for 4 months before she passed away. She suffered from memory issues and the staff was absolutely wonderful with her! The facility felt more like a cozy home instead of an assisted living facility.

I like Elmcroft. It is the best nursing home that my dad has stayed at, best of three. Elmcroft is nice and clean. Elmcroft has plenty of room for walking around on the property, even indoors. It has great ventilation! My dad's room has a full bathroom with a ceiling fan. His room has two large windows that we can open about 7" for plenty of fresh air and a nice breeze. His room overlooks the inner courtyard and his window is next to a tree that has lots of little birdies chirping during the day, nice stimulating commotion from nature. Elmcroft is affordably priced, almost half of the price of my dad's previous nursing home.
