We made a great decision for our mother to live at Manresa. The staff is amazing - extremely kind and caring - and they have a lot of activities for the residents.

I don't think I can find enough words to express how wonderful this whole experience has been. Bethany has gone above and beyond to help me find a perfect apartment for my 86 year old aunt. She could not have been any kinder or understanding. Cheryl has been exceptional as well. They both have treated my aunt with respect and courtesy and have guided us through this process. I would have been lost without them. This is a lovely facility. Beautiful views, tastefully decorated, much thought put into activities. I feel relieved and confident moving my aunt to Celebration Villa at Manresa and I thank everyone who has helped us in this journey.

This is a beautiful community right on the water. Living in Annapolis, everyone knows this historic spot. The residents are active and engaging, the staff cares, and the food is good. Most assisted living communities have people that my mom couldn’t engage with, but at Manresa there is a lot going on and residents even have their own led clubs. Definitely a different kind of assisted living.

Beautiful surroundings and facility. I have found some of the staff to be caring and polite, while others not so much. Also, if there is an issue with something in the apartment/room, sometimes it is addressed quickly, other times it is not addressed for MONTHS, which is not acceptable. The food is fairly good there; it is usually healthy and you receive ample portions. There are also a lot of daily activities. Two downfalls is the cleaning; rooms are supposed to be cleaned weekly - dumping the trash is not cleaning! Additionally, while costs continue to rise in the US, so does the cost of living at this place. It is one thing to raise monthly expenses such as 3% to 5% similar to other cost increases throughout the country, but raising rent on an elderly person in the amount 20% is NOT acceptable, and it really should be criminal.

We love Atria Manresa, and we've been very happy with my father's experience there! The staff is amazing! Here are my father's thoughts, "I love the van trips. It's so nice to be able to get out to restaurants and events in the area. Annapolis has so many great events, and I can still be part of them. During the pandemic my family sent me pictures and the staff hung them on the walls for me. Now I'm surrounded by friends and have staff who care and help to make this time that we are away from our families pleasant. It goes a very long way."

Being with ladies my own age and having a community surrounding me is great! Living in a community like this allows me to find support and friends. I feel like my life has purpose again. I have also found my artistic roots again. I am getting back to the things I love.

When I first came here I was very sick. Once I felt better I was looking for things to do. The staff brought me a ukulele and started to teach me how to play. I had a background in music but never thought at 91 I would be learning the ukulele. I have enjoyed this opportunity to learn something new. My daughter even took up the ukulele during the pandemic so it gives us a lot to talk about. I love Manresa, I have a lot of friends and it's the best view in town.

We were, quite frankly, a bit apprehensive when looking for assisted living facilities for my mother-in-law. Placing your parent in assisted living during a pandemic made it even more difficult. We are very thankful that we chose Atria Manresa in Annapolis. The facility is beautiful. My mother-in-law has a gorgeous view of the Severn River. The staff goes beyond the call of duty to make my mother-in-law feel welcome, respected and included. She has acclimated much better than we had hoped she would (and she loves the food!). We appreciate the staff at Atria Manresa for their kindness, hard work and generosity. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for assisted living.

The people at atria Manresa, have been doing an extraordinary job under and possible circumstances. They kept my mom alive, and all the residents protected, from Covid Which is pretty amazing, and in and of itself, has been worth it. The food is really good, in the beginning before the Covid thing started my mother was really enjoying the social activities and making new friends. Also got to say, can’t beat the view. There are a couple of tweaks that could maybe be implemented, but I don’t think they would be there if there wasn’t an epidemic raging. Also, when my husband got quite ill recently, they were kind and understanding to a degree that really touched me Amy is the activities director and really cares about the people she works with.. All the folks who work at the front desk, are absolutely delightful, and as I say, they’ve kept my Mom alive and that’s beyond miraculous. Thanks for being awesome, Atria humans. Truly.

Manresa Annapolis is a beautiful facility on the Severn River, but the caring staff is equally as beautiful. I had to put both of my parents at Manresa due to dementia approximately three years ago. During this timeframe I believe my parents are getting the best care possible under difficult circumstances. My parents can be difficult and have no concept of what's going on but the Manresa staff has gone above and beyond in providing excellent care, food ,medical support and social activities particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. The staff's communication with me has been excellent to include phone calls, text messages and emails. I would not hesitate to recommend Manresa Annapolis to anyone that is looking for assisted living for their loved ones.

The people I've spoken with here are very nice, but they are only PET TOLERANT, NOT PET FRIENDLY. For me it is a total deal killer that you can bring a pet with you, but not adopt one later, even if the one you move in with dies, especially after paying a non-refundable pet deposit. I only took off one star because I know that is not everyone's deal. A Home For Mom recommends Atria, but I understand that they also get paid, if you rent from Atria, after their recommendation.Kick backs are not my idea of impartiality.
