Cannot express enough the satisfaction we had with Sunrise Huntcliff II. Marc Anthony and all the employees were eager to satisfy my wifes needs and truly cared about her. The facility was in a beautiful location in a wooded area. The highlight of my wifes day was seeing the 4 deer who visited by her room window most every day. Both the sevice and regard for her care is much appreciated.

My father lived here for eight years. The wonderful ladies who cared for him daily were always kind, considerate, and ensured his comfort. However, when we were cleaning out his room after he passed, the higher-level staff never acknowledged us. They looked at us, walked past us, and didn't say a word. The only people who expressed their sympathy were the caregivers and a maintenance man who had only been there a month and didn't even know my dad. I can't adequately describe my disappointment with the management's lack of response. I had to track someone down to figure out our next steps. No one called, no one emailed—not even my father's care manager. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this facility and will look elsewhere if I ever need assisted living for another family member.

We are so excited that Mom chose Huntcliff! Marisa customized our visit to make sure she found people with similar interests and made us feel at home immediately. Marisa's care and knowledge made all the difference. I knew from the minute we walked in, this is just the right place. The residents are energetic and HAPPY because they have the right staff and support.

We moved Mom into Sunrise after being in her own home with 24/7 help. It has been a pleasant experience for all of us. Mom has adjusted nicely to her new surroundings and the staff treats her like family. We, as a family, are very pleased with Sunrise at Huntcliff Summit.

I want to commend Marc-Anthony and his staff at Huntcliff Summit II for their professionalism, warmth and patience in planning my Mother's "almost" move to HCSII. Marc is wonderful to work with and truly seems to love his job. Helping families make the difficult decision to relocate their loved ones into a new home environment can be tedious and painful. Marc listened, understood and reacted kindly. Marc went beyond my expectations to make certain my family was informed and comfortable with the decision to entrust our most precious matriarch at 103 years old into their care. He was always available and followed up quickly to all questions and concerns. Unfortunately, due to a sudden downturn in Mother's health, all plans had to be canceled. After all of his time and efforts, Marc couldn't have been more understanding. Marc seems to truly love his work. He is compassionate, positive, and takes his responsibility very seriouly. Thank you Marc-Anthony!

Just had a wonderful evening at Friends and Family Fun Night! The games and camaraderie were exhilarating. It's heartwarming to see the staff invested in the residents in this way. Kudos to Emily and Mark Anthony on elevating the activities higher than I could imagine. Well done!

I love watching the caregivers interact with my mom! They genuinely seem to care for her. They make each other laugh & I can tell that my mom feels safe & happy there. Pretty much every single staff person is always willing to help if I have a question. Top notch place!

This is one of the cleanest and friendliest facilities I have worked at as an agency CNA. From my first shift, the staff treated me like one of their own. Residents are well attended to and seem very happy.

Mom has done extremely well living in Sunrise at Huntcliff. The staff is very good and the facility is beautiful! We are very pleased with our choice of assisted care options. Our only experience so far, has been in 2021 during Covid, so we look forward to seeing all of the "HAPPENINGS" outside of a covid year. Thank you for doing your best during a difficult time! Sunrise of Huntcliff Summit II is a blessing for my parents. The environment and people are pleasant, warm and easy to work with. This is the third assisted living facility where my parents have lived and this one is far superior in care, quality of care and attentiveness. The staff is amazingly kind and caring with positive attitudes!

My mother moved here in February of 2021. My sisters and I have had a great peace of mind over the quality of her care and the level of safety here. The staff were warm and welcoming to our mom and to us. Everybody listened to our concerns and and requests and were very responsive to each of them. Mom has had all positive things to say about the environment, the care level, and the food. She is enjoying new friendships and loves the comfort and appeal of her new home. The facility is kept clean, the staff have done a good job working with families and residents around the Covid mandates which were still heavily in place at time of move in. As the mandates have been lifted, family has been made aware. We feel very grateful to have our mom live in such a nice place!

Moved mother here 8 months ago from another facility where we were unhappy with her care and she was complaining of the food for 3 years! She has never uttered one complaint about her food since arrival! I have not had reason to doubt the attention and care they give her. Unfortunately, she does require a lot of attention and she is definitely getting it. I live far away and when on the phone with her, they are frequently popping in to check on her. At her prior facility, she had a cold or a virus constantly. I thought it was just her. But since moving in here, she has not even had a cold! We are very very happy with our decision to move her here.

Old, run down care facility Sparsely staffed with people who turn over constantly. The reputation of Sunrise Facilities is very good throughout the nation. However, this one is an anomaly and needs quite a bit of management attention, restoration and training.

My mother was in their memory care floor for a little over a year before she passed. The staff here is AMAZING, they took such phenomenal care of her, and we are all so please that they were able to provide her with a great atmosphere to live out her final days.

My In-Laws were very apprehensive as many are about moving after being in their home for many years. After visiting several places, we immediately felt at home at Huntcliff Summit II. Being new to the process, we were helped step by step to make the move as easy as possible. The environment is so comfortable, clean, nice smelling, happy, inviting, well lit, and you hear music in the background often. The staff are ALL wonderful, exceptional people, and most important to my In-Laws, they like the food! I have continued to be surprised and pleased at the care they have received. The staff seems to go out of their way to make residents happy. They are so thoughtful and I hear compliments all the time. What a relief knowing they are in such a great place!

There aren't enough stars for the staff at Huntcliff Summitt. We moved my father to the facility following a hospitalization in NC. He has Parkinson's as well as dementia. Managing his conditions is a challenge, to say the least. Huntcliff has accommodated his needs in every way possible. Erin, took time from her Christmas holiday with family to perform an initial evaluation of my father in the hospital prior to his discharge. The on-call physician, Dr. Figiel, visited Huntcliff upon our request and performed a careful and thorough evaluation of my father's mental status. His nurse practitioner subsequently picked up on a serious error in my father's medication (made during his previous hospitalization) and made adjustments. Staff made us immediately aware of any changes in my father's behavior. Every employee from the front desk, to the med techs, to the care managers were warm, friendly, and accommodating. Ashley, in memory care has been my father's advocate, even during his more difficult periods. I have always felt that they have his best interests at heart. I highly recommend this facility.
