Chris is a very nice fellow. Promptly showed us the room Avamere had available and the other amenities. Of course, my MIL was already there before she passed away and we'd already seen everything except for the room. Food is meh but tolerable. I wouldn't turn it down, especially if I was starving! Staff is very nice and the place is clean, bright, and sunny. Plus, there are lots of activities to participate in. It's set back a bit off the main street and is in a wooded area but not so thickly wooded that someone would be able to sneak in and create havoc.

The staff was so friendly. Staff went out of their way to stop by and introduce themselves. They also went out of there way to help getting my mother into a safe place as quickly as possible

Very friendly and professional staff. Every resident we passed by during my tour was polite and seems to really like the facility. The location is private and there seems to have had many upgrades with more on the way I believe. Tour was thorough and informative.

A horrible place to work due to blatant favoritism and multiple instances of bullying ... The food is marginal at best ... There is not a variety of activities to keep the residents occupied and happy ...The rooms are not cozy and most could use a good weekly cleaning, especially the carpet ... I should be living in a place like this, but..... I called ahead and talked at length to their representative who told me to come in and have a tour. What I saw was not real surprising and disappointing. No Wheelchair waiting for me as promised, a tour guide had to be caught, I quickly found myself cornered by residents and employees asking me about my plans to live there. NO THANKS ! I didn't see happy campers, or employees. I saw dark halls and cafeteria where I have to go three times a day to eat or pay extra to get my meal's in my room. I also saw and not to leave out the smokers who nobody wants next to them but the place they had was a bench in the bushes where several people were smushed together to smoke and keep warm and it was out the back door and clear across the parking lot. Not the place you want to have to go to get your first smoke of the day or your last in the dark. How about putting in a tuff shed with some seats on both sides so your friend can come and see it has a lighted pathway, windows and a roof, comfortable chairs and a card table, a filtered air fan vent for the funny smells that Old People Make ! Jeez I smell bad and I don't even smoke anymore. But my Gocart does a little bit... Now friends some of the places I've looked at have less to offer for more money and some people say location is everything. It's not ! In fact my Mother lived between 205 Mall and 82nd Avenue on Causey Avenue. in The Forum... Where they have the amenities including a formal dining room where we shared many hours being treated like royalty. And so much more... Me I'M still looking for a place that has heard of Diabetes. SERIOUSLY ! Good Heavens

Hannah did an amazing job getting my mom placement and into a room as quickly as possible. She followed up with us on a regular basis and answered all our questions in a timely manner. Super star she is! Thank you Hannah, my mom is so happy there!

I cannot say enough good things about Hannah! She is on the ball. Such an amazing person. Everything was so streamlined to get my mom approved and moved in so quickly. I know others were likely involved in the process but Hannah was always in communication on what to expect next. My mom just moved in yesterday and everyone has been so welcoming. The facility is clean and well kept. The neighborhood is cute and homey. Very safe area. The food is good. The employees seem happy and always smiling. I feel good knowing my mom will be well taken care of here.

My mom has moved into this place and she’s loving it, tells me everyone at Avamere are super nice staffs are super kind to her and always do their best to take care of my mom. I’m so glad that I have her moved into this facility. There are many parking places that you can park and the facility is clean and neat! I would recommend this place for people who are looking for a assisted living facility to move in!

a gamers Park Place isn't showing it's many state violations ranging from abuse by a care aid, bad medication management and poor care by staff not to mention the lack of emptying the garbage out of resident's room, intermittent housekeeping and the kitchen running out of food. Go someplace else if you need loving care

When I moved in two years ago, this was more of a senior residence. Since then, it has become more like a nursing home. Food sucks. It is rarely even warm, let alone hot. Too many canned fruits and vegetables. I usually cook lunch and dinner in my room rather than go down to the dining room. Turnover of employees is ridiculous.

they disregard surgeon's orders, they prevent care aids from helping residents, they'll do anything they can to keep down the assistance for helping a resident. They only care for the money they can get from the resident nothing about the care.

Had the chance to tour the community a few weeks ago. I was absolutely impressed. The staff were so warm, and welcoming. Resident were smiling and happy, and the experience far exceeded our expectations. If your looking for a great assisted living community in the Tigard area, call an ask for Beatriz , she would love to help, and It show. I promise you will just adore her, the residents, and this team. I just can't rave about my experience enough. Beatriz is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and truly passionate, and dedicated to helping your love on new path, and this next chapter. I know you will be in good hands, from the time you walk through the door, to moving in an calling Park Place HOME!

The bathrooms are super small and there are no ventilation fans. One has to place towels on the floor to prevent flooding when showering. There is a skeleton crew due to covid so the care is limited and the residents have to be patient to receive prn medications. It has improved. I'd recommend it to the person who is mobile and has few needs to be met. The person that needs multiple needs to be met I'd recommend to look elsewhere.

I recently toured Avamere at Park Place as a possible placement for my older brother. I was very impressed by the cleanliness, warmth, decor and friendly staff at this facility! One of the people who really stood out is the Director of Sales and Outreach "Cassie Delozier." From the start, she was super helpful and went out of her way to give us the information we needed to make an informed decision about Avamere. She was also excellent about follow-up and I felt very supported and well taken care of throughout my interactions with her. Thanks Cassie!! I would highly recommend Avamere to anyone looking for a place to call "home!"

I moved my brother into Avamere at Park Place 1 1/2 years ago and it was the best decision we have made. I toured 4 senior living facilities and Avamere was by far the best. First, it did not have them at senior’ smell. Avamere’s carpets are clean the paint is fresh which really helps with smells. It was close to a bus line and walking distance to a little store. Also, Cassie is the contact point for new and potential residents. She is amazing! First she did a home visit with my brother to interview him and make sure he would fit into the Avamere community. Then she arranged a personal tour of the facility to answer all his and our questions. On move in day she made sure that the facility guys were available to hang the TV and hook up the computer. She does go above and beyond to help new residents. I am finding I am calling her less and less as my brother adapts to his new environment and she always gets back to me almost immediately. Excellent customer service! My brother enjoys living at Avamere, good food, clean sheets weekly, clean clothes weekly, clean room weekly, a very active daily activities calendar, walking trails and an excellent support staff. Give them a call and ask for Cassie, she will take care of you!

We needed to find an assisted living facility for my father-in-law after his time at a rehab facility following four falls. He asked my brother-in-law and I to find a home. I called around to a number of facilities. After talking to Cassie both of us felt she offered what we thought would be the best. I appreciated her knowledge and genuine honesty and she went out of the way to make us comfortable with our choice. The final decision was up to my father-in-law. He narrowed the list down to two places and ultimately selected another community based on its location to his dialysis center. I know he would have been happy with Avamere but he is hoping to be able to return to his home in two months.

My brother in law is a resident of Avamere. We are so appreciative to your employee Cassie for her work in getting him out of the place where he was, which was unfit to live in, and into Avamere. She went above and beyond to help my brother in law in getting him settled there. Her care and compassion literally gave him his life back. It's good to have a person like Cassie representing Avamere. My brother in law is happy and looks very good! Thank you to Cassie! We need more people like her.

I just moved my mother to Avamere, their staff have been great to work with in finding a new home for her! Cassie, Director of Sales and Outreach, was great to work with and supported me throughout the process! The place looks great too, can't wait to see the great view in the summer time!

My mom Ann is a resident here and she has asked me to write a review for her. She continually tells me how happy she is there, mostly because of how the staff treats her with kindness while keeping her safe. The medical and other support staff all treat her exceptionally well. She never has any bad to say about anyone because they are all so nice and kind. This is a testament to the management staff from the top down. Mr Mark Bruhn keeps us all well informed through email and with the newsletter. Top level notice needs to be given to the Director of Sales and Outreach, Ms. Cassie Delozier! Mom and I appreciate her professionalism and kindness to no end. Thank you Cassie!!

Today is 03012020, my son lives there. In the dinning room. You will find a man blowing his nose at the dinner table. Several clients have to leave. This is not acceptable. Your meal serving size is on a salad plate. Clients are going to bed Hungary. As of today 031020 the management has made several changes on eating in the dinning room. They offer several new dishes.

Avamere Park Place Cassie is sure a benefit to this team. She was very instrumental in getting me to apply and to come to this Assisted Living location and reiterated how much I would enjoy it being near the park and all of the friendly staff. Cassie has helped with everything from moving to Insurance questions to medication complications getting transferred here and any other questions about this property Cassie is the go-to person.

I love it here the staff are so good to me. Cassie, Helped get in here was wonderful. THE housekeeping is great cleans my room as I ask. MY med aids CRYSTAL and Kelsey are the best, right there with my medications, never have to find them. MY only concern is the food. It's not the best and always keep running out of product. I do want to say, BECKI, one of the SERVERS is great, ALWAYS HELPING ME GETTING ANYTHING I ASK FOR. SHE was the first person that helped me on my first time COMINGto the dining room. SHE made me feel so comfortable and not afraid. SHE WORKS SO HARD, BUT ALWAYS GREETS ME WITH A SMILE. THIS IS VERY CLEAN PLACE, NICE TO THE RESIDENTS. I AM GLAD THAT MY DAUGHTER AND I CHOSE THIS PLACE FOR ME. I CAN CALL AVAMERE AT PARK PLACE MY HOME.

Not a great idea to Move in 1 week before Christmas, caused some delays & a little cayous. It took till after the 3rd of January for the state and all of the paper work to catch up with my move in. But with all that and the staff changes even....I hope that I have found my from now on forever Home for me & Riley (my service dog). The staff are all very helpful and they have gotten a new Chef that is just fantastic. The variety & quality of the meals are at a 3* level. ‘

Too many residents and not enough staff. The management changes every 5 or so months which makes it hard for a system to be put it place. Despite these faults, the staff does truly care about the residents. I give 3 stars, because it's just not consistent enough.
