This is such a nice facility! The residents are well taken care of, there is a great view of the valley, and they even have a koi pond and a pool table!

it’s frustrating that i feel the need to post a negative review for an elderly care center, yet i think it’s important for others to understand the experience we had at the time, escalante was called willow creek. we had just lost dad only two weeks earlier and i’m relocating mom from out of state along with all of the end of life things, we were just grateful she’d be close by. upon our arrival, we discovered a paper sign in the front door with a new name, escalante. and the people who had been so helpful to us in selecting willowcreek were no longer there. so not only did mom not know a single person, now we didn’t either. we never received any notification the facility was under new ownership nor were we ever introduced to the director or administrative team. for the most part the care she received was adequate. escalante had one full time nurse who worked 8-5 m-f and supplemented with an overnight cna and an additional person who distributed meds. mom was only there for seven weeks when she suffered the fall. after she passed, it was very frustrating getting our refund. we made repeated calls to talk with the manager that went to some random vm that were never returned. about four weeks after she passed, we received a call from the facility director asking if we would like a tour! we had to let this new person know she had already lived there and passed away. really! this guy actually worked in that facility as the director. hmmm? another five weeks passed and more calls were left unreturned. it seemed the person we needed to talk with was rarely there or in a meeting. finally i stopped in on my day off work and found the director in his office. he was very apologetic and miraculously the refund check was delivered via fed ex just five minutes after i left. but the final straw was an em received just a few days ago asking if we would like a tour for our mom! really?! you can expect fairly good care but administratively they don’t have it together. their communication is terrible if you can actually find a working phone number. be involved in your loved ones care. visit often and make sure you meet the directors and managers. be persistent and most importantly be your loved ones advocate.

The Wentworth at Willow Creek was the perfect place for our mother. She was only in the facility a couple of months and in that time, many of the workers took time to know her and learned of her love for music. In her last hours, two of the staff who had recently began working there, took a few moments to sing and play the guitar for her even though she wasn't responsive enough to know they were there. It made our last night with her something very special. Thank you for your care and love you showed our mother.

I don't even know where to start with how impressed I have been with the services and responsiveness of the team at Wentworth. Heather was amazing in her attentiveness to our needs. With one phone call from her, I felt as though several angles had landed on my doorstep to guide our family through the process of finding the right solutions for our mother. When it was time to look for an assisted living community for my mom I toured several. The minute I walked into the Wentworth at Willow Creek I knew this was the place for my mom. Tim was so willing to help and very comforting when difficult questions came up. My mom has been here close to one year and I have never once regretted choosing this facility. The staff is outstanding and wiling to help in anyway. I can't compliment them enough! Special shout out to Parker, Cori, Sonya, Susan, Mason, Sara and so many more! THANK YOU ALL! Getting older reminds us... it only takes a minute to call your mom for her favorite recipe, talk w your dad & ask his advice... tell your husband or wife you still love & appreciate them...tell your brother or sister that their your best friend & hug your little ones tight because one day the cuddles come to an end. It also only takes a minute for the kind hearted, knowledgeable, family & resident dedicated staff here at "The Wentworth at Willow Creek" make the unknown & scary moments a little easier. Okay, first of all, this is not your stereotypical crazy low energy retirement community. Normally, I’m a bit frightened by older folks (who seem to me) to be nearer to death than I am a girlfriend. Thankfully, this place is not like that. I do not feel like I’m entering purgatory when I enter the facility. I actually felt the warmth of a well-maintained fire of life, which I like to call energy. Which is a wonderful feeling to feel upon entering what I tend to expect purgatory to be like (I know, it’s bad). Now, I’m a curious guy, by nature. So I felt a powerful urge to uncover what they have that other retirement communities don’t. In my opinion, it’s easy to see. Observe. The interactions between the staff and residents makes it clear the staff are active and enjoy their jobs. It’s the environment, the atmosphere and culture that’s been created here that speaks volumes about people who created it and manage it day in and day out. Visit here. Worth a look.

As a hospice nurse, I go to many assisted living facilities. The Wentworth of Willowcreek is amazing. The facility is beautiful and clean and the staff take great care of their residents. They truly care about everyone’s welfare and providing high quality care. Susan, the Director of Nursing, is very knowledgeable, compassionate and caring and Sara, one of the Medtechs, regularly goes above and beyond to provide great care. The rest of the staff is amazing too. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

From the first introduction, The Wentworth at Willow Creek was exceptional. I was very nervous about needing to make these life changing decisions. I met with Heather Kincaid from The Wentworth. She really listened to my needs, and she provided me with a lot of information about the meals, grounds, apartments, amenities, etc. THANK YOU for your professionalism, friendship, and excellent service. Now that I have been well informed, I know that The Wentworth will be a community where no one is a stranger. Management has already shown their sincere concern for me. The staff at The Wentworth have made a difficult situation much easier than it would have been, since my folks moved in just a few weeks before Covid 19 required that residents quarantine in their apartments. I had the honor recently to meet with Heather Kincaid of the Wentworth at willow creek. After my mothers sudden down turn in health and ability to live independent. During this difficult time Heather Kincaid was there to guide my mother and I through this transition period in our lives. From the first moment we meet with Heather we felt her true compassion for my mother and her heart felt love she had for my mothers health and well being. Heather was kind, patient, and knowledgeable in all aspects of the care and treatments avaliable to us as resident of the Wentworth at willow creek.

For 8 years the Wentworth at Willow Creek was my mother's home. The people who worked there were like family to her. I always felt that they knew my Mom and cared about her. She was always well taken care of. The rooms are nice and give a feeling of home. The meals are good and they have lots of activities and opportunities for social interaction. They have LDS services on Sunday and on Wednesday. My Mom always felt like this was her branch. The brothers and sisters who were called to serve in the branch were very special. When my Mom passed, we held the service at the Wentworth under the direction of her branch leadership. It was a very loving memorial. Thank you to everyone at the Wentworth. You will be blessed for your service.
