The caregivers are always respectful to the residents and make them feel safe. The administration is companionate and caring. They try to see situations from the residence point of view, and from the place of keeping everyone safe. The activities ladies try to find things that are engaging, and it will be available to a variety of different levels of need or Ability. The servers in the dining room know all the names of all the residents and say hello to them by Name,.

My dad had to move to Pioneer Village unexpectedly from Arizona, and the entire staff made his transition as smooth as possible. From the very beginning, everyone knew his name and went out of their way to make him feel welcome. He was very reluctant to move into what he called an “old folks home,” but the caring staff, beautiful facilities, and wonderful location helped him quickly feel at home. The balance of support and independence has been exactly what he needed. He has required some extra assistance with medications and even help walking his dog, yet he still feels independent and in control of his daily life. That has meant a great deal to both him and our family. I highly recommend Pioneer Village to anyone looking for a safe, caring, and comfortable community for themselves or a loved one. We are incredibly grateful for the kindness, compassion, and professionalism of everyone there.

As a local Realtor for the last 22+ years I am touring Senior Communities in Southern OR. as some of our clients are needing/moving into them. We just want to get a feel of all of them. Pioneer Village was very warm and inviting. Everyone in the dining room said their meal was delicious. We did not get a tour of the apartments yet. We are going back soon to have lunch with Molly the sales director for a full tour. I did love the "Our Veterans" wall and little library area. Thank you!

I am not fair, I was trying to be a resident there, and Mike was hopeful for me, but Maria said I was too much a risk. I just want to say I was being led down a hopeful path, that wasnt there. Do not play there game, a bunch of liars. Think about it

There are only so many superlatives one can use to describe Pioneer Village. The facility is lovely, the staff attentive and kind, and the services second to none. Definitely worth consideration if you are searching for a spot for your loved one. I would highly recommend.

Our experience with Pioneer Village was very enjoyable. All the staff were friendly and accommodating and our interaction with the residents was quite enjoyable. They aim to please. They even gsave us a ride home when the roads were slick with snow and the snow was coming down hard.

After looking all over the Rogue Valley, this is the place we chose for our mother to live the rest of her life. First, you look for happy residents, laughter in the halls, friendly staff, and good food. Add to that, qualified medical staff, and a very reasonable price to make Pioneer Village a clear winner. I've been a food service professional for 45 years, and I've worked in premier retirement settings for 27 years. Pioneer Village is top of the line.

Pioneer Village is inviting with beautiful grounds and friendly residents. Looking forward to seeing how it operates in post pandemic times with all of its facilities open and in full swing. For now activities, events and dining are limited (would love to see a vegetarian option for meals and more activities for the residents) but the staff still does a great job...the staff are open, receptive, hard working and genuinely caring human beings.

Life is such a challenge with the existence of Covid. Over the past five months I am so happy to be living in the facility of Pioneer Village. The assisted living is such a positive help after one reaches the Senior Age of over ninety. It will be nice when Covid hopefully soon decreases and the restart of activities begin again in our Pioneer Village community,. Presently our activities are curtailed but getting out for a walk along the creek each day is a delight. Hope you are also looking forward to a great year in 2022.

Recently my elderly parents, both with dementia, became unable to live independently in a three-story home. My 89-year-old mother fell and fractured her hip Requiring a five week hospital stay and my father was unable to safely live alone. I needed a temporary residence for my father and my mother when she was released from the hospital in order for us to move them down to Southern California Where they had ample support. Pioneer Village was a perfect place for them to live. The staff there is knowledgeable about geriatric issues, they kept in touch with me, as I lived in San Francisco. The staff got to know them as people and learned all their preferences and genuinely cared about them and for them. I can highly recommend Pioneer Village to anyone looking for independent or assisted living situation for the elderly. Thank you Pioneer Village. Gary Stedman RN

My grandparents moved here in 2008. Though my grandfather passed on in 2010 (he was 98), my grandmother would not want to live anywhere else (she’s 100!). It’s a beautiful facility. The people who work here really care about her and communicate with me regarding her needs and any little emergencies that come up. I sleep better, knowing she is in caring hands.
