Every time I visit I am pleased with the staff. Alexis, the Executive Director has been there a couple years and takes exceptional care of the residents and the families. Pre and post tornado, everyone goes above and beyond. When you visit you can see first hand the dedication to their residents.

I am going to be downsizing soon. This morning I took a tour of Vitality Living - Pleasant Hills. Twanna Love was the Sales Counselor who showed me the cottages. I love the cottages there and Twanna did an excellent job of determining my needs and trying to find the perfect fit for me. Very impressed.

You told me, "You don't have to worry this is not the Taj Mahal." I say to you now, "the Senior Residents are worth more than the Taj Mahal." You hired me, for I was a seasoned in security and you claimed that you "felt in your spirit" that my seasoned security experience was what Vitality Living - Pleasant Hills needed. Words are worthless if not followed up with action, right?. Your manipulating behavior, spoke otherwise and my security counsel was ignore. Why? You told me, give it till April, 2024 and then your security counsel will be considered. Perpetrators are opportunist and they will not wait 'till April, 2024 by your calculations. Your arrogance and false humility in regards to Little Rock being "Among the Most Dangerous US Metro Areas" per https://247wallst.com/city/little-rock-ar-is-among-the-most-dangerous-us-metro-areas/ Your Business Office director was made a aware of this in my interview, but you ignored my Security Counsel. The staff is like family. My Mom connected well with many of the staff. After the tornado, Alexis and staff worked hard to take care of residents and keep residents and family updated.

Thank you for being there for my Mom and Dad. The caring, concerned and supportive staff have made their transition into assisted living as easy as such a move can be expected to be. We looked at several options but my mother said this community just felt like where she was supposed to be.

Home to my Mother for almost 15 years. She is very happy and this is mostly because of the various activities offered and the multiple friends she has made over the years. She has a more active social calendar than most teens I know! She plays Bridge & Mahjong, regularly. Gets her hair done in-house every week, takes the bus to Kroger & Wal-Mart weekly if needed, and participates in the Council with the facility staff. I would have given 5 stars, but it annoys the heck out of me that the rent goes up every year even though most of the residents are on a fixed income with little or no increase. I wish Brookdale Corp. would put the extensive redecoration aside and put the saving towards the resident's rent. I understand that it's just business and other places do this, as well, but it seems like a niche market would make some adjustments to help. Get creative!!

I teach customer service classes in my work, and one of the things that most people do not do is to use a person's name in greetings and conversations. When I moved my Mom to Pleasant Hills last September one of the first things that impressed me was that EVERYONE on the staff learns the names of their residents right away, and calls them by name when they see them. I think this is really a special and personal touch that you don't get very often! It goes a long way to make "newcomers" feel welcome and at home. Kudos!

My husband and I moved here 7 years ago, we lived in a cottage and found that all the personnel are very friendly and helpful any time we needed assistance it was provided to us. Most of the staff are the same ones that were here when we moved and they feel like my extended family. My husband died in June 2014 and the staff was very supportive. I have remained here as this is my home now. We have a very good chef and cooks that provide us good meals at breakfast and lunch at noon as well as dinner if we desire it. The dinning room staff is friendly, helpful and knows all our names. Our cottages or apartments are cleaned weekly. My children are very happy that I am here and they visit often. Dolores C

We recently selected Brookdale Pleasant Hills Senior Living Community for my mother. The staff has been extremely helpful throughout the process of evaluating all aspects of the facility and moving in. The facility is clean, the meals are very good, transportation is provided and all staff members are very friendly and helpful. The management staff is focused on understanding the care needs of all residents.

My father lived there for two years and we were very happy. Like most elderly people he did not want to be a burden on his family and did NOT want to live in a nursing home. Dad lucked out and one day when he was 88 he did not feel well and died a few days later. We are very appreciative to Pleasant Hills for their loving care.
