All the staff are friendly and welcoming. The facility is kept very clean. The food is always great, and the residents have choices. But, most of all they are very serious when it comes to residents care and well-being. They treat the residents as if they are family. They respect them and most of all, treat them as the individuals they are. If you havent checked them out I highly recommend it!

Aster Place has a family-feel good atmosphere! The activities, food, medical care and listening ear all combine into one happy place. I always feel i will have a listening ear with a suggestion or comment. I cant think of a better place to live in a long term care facility!!! 5 stars for Aster Place!

Although this is a nicer place than some others it seems that the staff can't keep a schedule for residents that need meds at specific times! There is a turnover rate alot here and they need more personal for all the rooms they have to get too! Higher pay and a better structure for sure!

My mom has resided at asters for a little over 3 years. She had fallen and has been in rehab. Her birthday was coming up and had ask Becky ( activities ) if she would bring Mom's close friends over to wish her happy birthday. Becky was able to arrange the visit. You would not believe the smiles of her gratefulness and appreciation of the event. It certainly made her day and birthday the best. A big thank you from me and my mom. So thankful Bobbie

My sister has lived at Aster Place for nearly 2yrs now and has found a wonderfully loving and caring community. The staff and all of the residents work together as a team and have genuine compassion for each other; it's a very welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. I HIGHLY recommend Aster Place !

February 13, 2023, we admitted my Aunt Amy into Assisted Living at Aster Place. This was a new journey for my Aunt since she was out of state and had lived in Ludington Michigan since the 1950’s. She went to school in Rossville, so she was coming back home to family. Her spouse had passed away years ago and she was living by herself. Janet Smith was a blessing! She was very professional and organized. She guided me as to what we needed to do on our end and to get ready for admissions day. Special thanks to all the staff, Joe, Amy, Maloree , maintenance and the cleaning staff and everyone else I didn’t mention on the Aster Place Team. My Aunt Amy loves the place! Hats off to the Aster Place staff. You all demonstrate great respect to our elderly! You all have thought of everything they need to enjoy a great quality of life! Keep up the great work! I’m so glad that this place may have improved. My father was there less than a year. I didn’t want him there because he was a smoker and it was a no smoking facility. Not at all a good choice for him. But I lost leverage with the rest of my family and he ended up at aster place. He didn’t last a year. He went out for a smoke and fell in the parking lot. If it hadn’t been for a kitchen worker going out for a smoke, god knows how long he would have been lying there. He died from that fall. I’m glad to see this place has apparently changed since my father was there. I’m not convinced (however) that it would be a place I would ever recommend for a loved one. I find it very interesting that no one from Aster place responded to my original review.

Aster Place is a beautiful place! It has that home like feeling to it when you walk in the front door. Staff is very welcoming! The meals are home cooked and delicious. They have an activity calendar full of fun activities and outings that their residents can go on. I have visited several other assisted living and skilled facilities in the area and Aster Place was by far, one of the best & who we ended up choosing for my grandfather. Their staff was beyond helpful. They took the time to walk us through every step, making the admission process, costs & service's explanation, very smooth & easy to understand. The facility itself is absolutely beautiful, well kept & has AMAZING food! There are many other assisted living options in the Lafayette & surrounding area, but we were 100% satisfied with our choice of Aster Place. My Mother LOVES Aster Place! The food is extraordinarily great, both quality and variety! The activities are fun, and they celebrate lots! Whether its Root Beer Float Day or a Bingo game, they promote good friendship among the residents! From the greeter at the front door to the waiters/waitresses, they are friendly, helpful and personable! The nurses are very competent, and they REALLY care about each individual. My father-in-law recently entered Aster Place assisted living. We felt this was the best facility in the area, but it is also probably the most expensive. It is not new, but it seems to be newer than most of the other facilities. It is modern and it has many residents and many social opportunities. He likes the food and the staff. I think he is being well taken care of.
