My name is Sergio Villa, and after moving my mother from another facility to Brookdale, I can honestly say the difference has been night and day. The pricing was very competitive, but the quality of care here is head and shoulders above where she was before. The food, attention to detail, and especially the communication have exceeded our expectations. My mother has been a resident here for five years, and I would give Brookdale 10 stars if I could. We were so lucky to get my 91-year old mother into Brookdale in Rancho Mirage. The care is eleven-star. From the moment we arrived, every person welcomed her with love, kindness and compassion! First of all, Jennifer, the woman who gives you the tours and answers all of your questions, continues to be an immediate help to me (& my loved ones) whenever I need her. Then, the care givers and med techs are so loving, patient, and caring. Her room is clean. Her laundry is done. I appreciate all that they do for my mother to care for her, comfort her, and make sure she feels safe. The charge nurse is amazing. I receive excellent and timely communication and she is so knowledgeable, guiding me and my family through these waters we have never traveled. I am so grateful for her, I think she leaves her wings at home.

Brookdale Mirage Inn is a fine place to live. The staff takes care of all things just as they should. This is essential. But it’s also important that the food is quite good, plus you can ask for food to take back to your apartment for snacking. What’s amazing is that the people who work here are all very pleasant and each of them knows everyone who lives here by name. I don’t know how they do that.

My Mom lives at Brookdale in the memory care in Rancho Mirage, CA. The team there is amazing. The care she gets from the team is compassionate and caring. They keep her busy with activities and community companionship with her peers every single day. My Mom is thriving. Additionally we also use the "Brookdale at Home" companion services to give my Mom some additional 1:1 time. Sharon and the companion team come to take my Mom for a walk, ice cream treat, to a doctor's appointment... They too are amazing and help to round out my Mom's experience at Brookdale. My mom has been a resident at Brookdale since February 2022. She really likes all the activities, outings, cabaret events and enjoys the attention to detail with all of the activities. The variety and quality of their food is also very good. They offer choices and are attentive to residents’ special requests. There are always celebrations for holidays of all kinds and special days, such as today, Cinco de Mayo. The director, Denise Flores really listens and takes action when needed. The director of Brookdale at Home, Sharon Ostern goes above and beyond consistently. She does much more than what her role requires. I find ALL of their staff to be attentive and responsive.

WOW, what an amazing place Brookdale is!! My mother is in her mid-eighties and moved in last fall and she couldn't be happier. I have visited three times since and am constantly impressed with the quality of the facility. For starters, the staff is very friendly caring and attentive. The grounds and facility is clean and well kept. The decor is bright, tasteful and open. There is a light and happy feel to this place that is a pleasure to experience. My interactions with the staff from the executive director (Denise Flores) all the way to the dinning room and maintenance staff has been great. They all seem eager to help and to "make it right" when an issue comes up. There have been several occasions that I am directly aware of that the staff went above and beyond expectations. One that comes to mind is when Ms. Flores personally delivered food to my mother who was all by herself (for hours) in the waiting room of the nearby ER. She did this on her own and after hours, unbelievable! Overall my experience with Brookdale has allowed me to be more at peace with this stage of my mom's life, and that is saying a lot! 🙂 Thank you Brookdale staff!!

We were both very impressed when we took the tour of the facility with Linda Pineda, Marketing Coordinator, as we are seeking Assisted Living that fits our needs. Brookdale Mirage Inn checked all the boxes and more. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and the activities seem to have something for everyone. The apartment we viewed will fit our needs perfectly. We explained that we weren't looking to move for approximately one more year and there was no pressure by the staff. After our visit, we're looking forward to our move!

We moved our 90 year old parents to Brookdale Mirage Inn in April of this year. They had been living independently in their home of many years, so this was a tough, but necessary move for them. Thanks to the caring staff from Brookdale at Home and the wonderful Mirage caregivers, they are thriving. The feeling of security and peace that we, the children, have is priceless. If they need help, it is just a button push away. Mom is hooked on bingo and puzzles and dad enjoys his mornings and evenings on the balcony. Their 19 year old cat adjusted immediately and is their joy. 🙂 I'd love to call out the staff members who have made this transition easier for them, but there are just too many to address by name! I don't think there is a bad one in the bunch! I would highly recommend Brookdale Mirage Inn to anyone looking for a wonderful assisted living experience.

Mom recently relocated from Florida to the Brookdale Mirage Inn. Words can't begin to convey the tremendous improvement in her quality of life and the care she receives. After living there 6 months, my mother's monthly bill has DOUBLED. Its very difficult to get a response from anyone who can explain why or help you understand this. They don't return calls. She needs some additional services, but I have been unable to get an explanation why her bill has doubled. They could be better at helping new residents orient to assisted living life. My mother didn't settle in until about 6 months into her stay, and meanwhile the bills keep going up. I'm looking at alternative places for my mother now. It will be traumatic for her to have to move again, but at the rate Brookdale is billing her, she will run out of money years before we had anticipated. Facility wise, its beautiful, clean and well-maintained. The food is good. The staff is nice.

Staff, services and facility is wonderful, but almost without exception, billing by corporate office was incorrect and always in their favor. My mother checked out mid November 2016 and to date, I am still fighting with them for a billing they did in December. Their billing department is major problem.....and if your mom is on fixed income, it's a problem. Watch your bills!!!!!
