Today marks one week since my father, Bill Joy, affectionately known as "Grandpa," passed away. During this difficult time, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the staff and caregivers at the facility. There are too many wonderful individuals to mention by name, but I know my father felt loved and appreciated by each of you, even if he couldn’t express it. I would especially like to acknowledge three individuals: Michael, Ashley, and Megan. Without your support, I doubt I would have been able to keep my father in the facility. From day one, you were there for us when I brought him in after hours. You welcomed him with open arms, and although it was incredibly hard for me to place him in a facility, I felt God had guided us to you. You made my dad feel safe, which in turn eased my heart about my decision. Michael was a true friend to my dad. He possesses a kind and compassionate nature that shines through in everything he does. It's evident that he genuinely loves his work and cares for all his residents while also looking out for the staff. He is truly one in a million, and I wish there were more caregivers like him. Despite the high turnover of staff, Michael remains dedicated to his residents. From the very start, Ashley ensured that my dad was in excellent hands. Whenever I needed assistance, she was quick to respond and always made things happen. She exemplifies what it means to be a true team player. During times when there wasn't enough staff available, Ashley and Megan stepped in to help shower my dad, even when he was often difficult. I believe it was Ashley who affectionately gave him the nickname "Grandpa." Megan was the supervisor when my dad first arrived at the Palms. I could call her anytime for updates on his condition, and she always had the information I needed. She took her responsibilities seriously, prioritizing the well-being of the residents. I was saddened when she took another position, as staff turnover has since been quite high. While I'm thrilled for her promotion, she is deeply missed on the second floor. To the new owners: Please ensure adequate staffing to keep your residents cared for and safe. My father suffered at least three serious falls in his final weeks due to insufficient staff, resulting in multiple trips to the hospital over the past year. I am certain that this contributed to his decline. Additionally, the facility is in dire need of cleaning; it has become filthy. There used to be a cleaner dedicated to this duty, but I suspect that position has been eliminated. Thank you again to everyone who has been part of my father's journey. Your compassion and dedication have made a lasting impact during this challenging time.

When I walk through the palms doors , the receptionist always greet with a smile as well the transportation staff! Some of the staff are great! Residents are the reason I come, I really enjoy my visits. Keep up the great work!!!

The whole facility has truly turned around, from the Top down you can see the changes in the way the front desk greets everyone who walks in the door, to the rehab and nursing teams time and attention given to each patient. This place is a Diamond found in this little gem of a town.

My Father Bill Joy has been in the memory care facility for a year and a half now. They take amazing care of him. Cindy is doing an amazing job hiring some new faces! They are always there to answer questions or concerns you may have about your loved one. There are too many nurses for me to mention them all by name, but they're all amazing. I truly believe these care givers are angels in disguise, it takes very special people to do what they do, I appreciate each and every one of you. Today, I was fortunate enough to meet Keke who was taking care of my father. She was an absolute delight! Love her positive attitude and kindness she shows my dad.

Some of the nurses are great and the therapists were great too. However, the food was a guessing game. Why let us choose from a menu if we get random things anyways? Also, some nurses need a refresher on medications. One nurse took my blood pressure and decided that since it was okay, I didn't need blood pressure medicine that day. That's not how blood pressure med Works. I take it every day. On the plus side, Phyllis was great. I love her. I don't think I'll come back here after my next surgery.

This facility is the worst place I have been in you are left to basically take care of yourself no one helps you wash up or go to the bathroom I had to basically demand a shower the food is always cold on top of being awful if you ring the buzzer for help nobody comes I am in here for physical therapy and have hardly had any lucky to get half an hour no occupational therapy at all. I will not give any stars at all there is basically no patient care except for the nurse that gives your medicine I would like to commend Evan the nurse on duty today Sunday march 3rd he was able to get me taken off a medication that was causing a lot of digestive problems thank you again evan

I toured this facility with the marketing girls and they gave me great information regarding rates, and quality of life. i feel like its in my best interest to move in as soon as possible, it definitely gives me a home feeling.

Kyna has been instrumental in helping with my mother's transition. The nursing staff (Kristen and Phyllis) has been excellent with my mother's care. The business office (Wesley and Mary)has proven to be quite easy to work with. CNA's have had my mother ready for all appointments and even dressed her as she requested. Small attention to details are very important when such a life altering change has been made. This was a difficult decision, and we were going into uncharted waters. The patience and education that we received throughout this process has been appreciated throughout the transition, as well as very comforting.

I visited the Palms of Sebring today and met with Kyna Page. I had some questions about my uncle and his stay at the facility and how well it was going for him. The staff including Kyna was very helpful and assured me that my uncle was in the best care. He really enjoys staying there.

Five stars are not enough to give this facility! Kyna and Megan were instrumental in getting my aunt and uncle back together for the last few weeks of his life so he didn't have pass alone at another facility. The care the staff provided was top notch. The staff not only checked on him but made sure his wife and our family was taken care of. We are forever grateful for the staff and facility for everything!

I visit residents of The Palms ALF regularly and find Megan and staff, Kyna, Tammy, front office staff, all of them to be very friendly and helpful. Yes, the facility has the normal staffing problems, but they are working thru those the best they can. I would recommend The Palms to anyone looking for a safe and caring home for their loved one.

Great place but understaffed. My mother was here for a couple weeks in November. If you think you're going to drop your loved one and they're going to be cared for, think again. The staff is FANTASTIC, but there just isn't enough so they're dropping balls everywhere. My mother needed a shot and for five days I brought it up to the nurse. Finally it was given over a week late. My mother doesn't eat pork but every meal had pork. I brought her in food. If you can be present daily to help your loved ones, this is a great place. They are too busy to tell you, but in the back is an awesome library, a chess board, and a sweet little thrift shop.

Rehab staff are the best. They go above and beyond for the residents influencing their motivation to get better and transition back home safely. Its always a lively and fun atmosphere in the rehab gym. The Speech, the OT, and the PT always come up with fun and effective activities for the patients.

I am absolutely amazed at the wonderful care the speech therapist named Debbie gives my grandmother at the palms. She really loves it when Debbie comes in and she is highly qualified and trained. Debbie answers all of my questions and home care needs when my grandmother will return home I love her she is the best!!!!

The rehabilitation team is fantastic, they take patient care to another level, they're a very genuine group of people. One of the best parts is being able to socialize with others during group therapy. I definitely recommend The Palms of Sebring for your rehabilitation needs.

I can say this place does it for me. It has a good atmosphere. Food is similar to a cafe in Portland I liked.

Most of the staff is caring and and understanding. But the 2% from LPNs to CNAs should go back to school to learn compassion. Also theres nothing to keep your love one moble....it seems its designed to keep the seniors in wheelchairs... but I am working on that.

Mom came here for a short rehab. She did ok and left after 3 weeks. She said the food was ok but not the best. The staff was nice. Shuttle service is only mon-fri. Thats crappy, why not every day? Rooms were fine and basic. No organized exercise. Nursing staff just ok.

My dad was at the Palms for a year and a half. In all that time he became part of an incredible family. He wasnt just a patient to them. They treated him with such great respect and took the absolute best care of him. The employees also became part of my family, I will forever be grateful for the way my dad was treated. Thank you Palms family! I love you!! PS: Ellen Lawrence is amazing, and I wouldnt have survived my dads loss without her by my side.
