I loved this facility. The staff was very friendly. They had a lot of activities for the patients and let guests be involved with those activities. Patients could go outside if they wanted. They were able to have some independence which kept morale up. This place was great.

Employees are very polite and pleasant. I find them eager to please and assist. The facility is very clean. My only complaint had been the noise in my friend’s. room when the staff were helping the neighbor. When someone is trying to sleep respect suggest acknowledging that by lowering voices. Also I could never be a patient there because of the TVs being on. Again the neighbors. That could be an easy fix if the TVs came with a headset. Not everyone wants a tv on all the time. I would prefer to look at a fireplace or electronic fish. However I’m sure my friend is very happy with his treatment and the respect shown him I gave the evaluation from my point of view. I’m some who does like chatter from people or TVs or radios. Silence allows peaceful time to renew energy. My friend had not been sleeping well, he told me

My first visit to see an old dear friend. The place is busy, clean and cheerful. The staff was uniformly friendly and very helpful. I spoke to a couple of other residents who seemed very happy. They are taking great care of my pal.

No stars from me. My best friend's husband was a patient in skilled nursing. Getting any help was an issue, communication, food, you name it, ridiculous! Also, when her husband was taken to ER for emergency, Bayshire wanted a insane amount to hold his room. Therefore, Bayshire gathered all his belongings into one bag and basically kicked him out. This place is very unperfessional and lacks greatly in compassion and care. Please don't let your loved ones be mistreated by this facility.

Bayshire staff took great care of my mother while she recovered from surgery! The facilities are clean and mom said she enjoyed the food! Her room was clean and quiet- everything she needed to rest and recover.

They were efficient at the beginning. Then, they disliked the way they treated the patient. Wound care is extremely neglected, under staffed. Did not bathe patients in a timely manner. They ran out of adult briefs in the correct size needed and would put the wrong size on the patient. The patient would speak to the charge nurse about issues, but they ignored them.

My husband was assigned to this facility for his respite back in November 2024. He was supposed to be there for four days. After the first day, I was getting calls from the facility saying that they could not watch him because he was walking around and they don’t lock their doors and they were afraid that he was gonna walk out so they were going to send him back home. So he was at respite for less than 24 hours. This was totally unacceptable. When he came back home, he did not have the clothes that he went there with. I called the facility. They cannot find them. They said send us the receipts for his missing items and we will reimburse you. I have not been reimbursed yet. I’ve made several calls and sent emails and I’m still waiting. I’m not sure how this facility has a licensed to care for Alzheimer’s dementia patients and they expect them to stay in the bed all day. I would not send another family member there for care.

Very bad experience trying to check my wife into this facility. They gave me some cock-and-bull-story about an old lien that medicare had in the books. I was willing to pay cash while this was resolved. But they gave the room away anyway, leaving us out in the cold Looking for another facility.

The Thanksgiving Brunch celebration was beautiful and delicious! Turkey, ham, ALL the side dishes and 3 kinds of pie. The staff were especially kind and caring. Some were taking nice photos of all the table groups to remember the festivities. Beautiful centerpieces. I plan to spend next Thanksgiving with Mom for a wonderful day. Kelley Green.

This is my husband’s second stay at Bayshire Rancho Mirage Skilled Nursing Facility. His first visit, he had nothing but praise for the medical staff, PTs, OTs, Admin staff, housekeeping, kitchen and everyone else. Just recently, EMC recommended he be transitioned to a SNF again before returning home. He chose to be placed in Bayshire and he’s happy with his decision! My experience having my husband placed in Bayshire is very good. If I have questions, and I do, (everything from meds to his rehab schedule) I get complete answers and quickly. Insurance paperwork can be a nightmare and they are always on top of it and, again, they listen to my questions and give me a quick turn-around with thorough answers. If I need it explained until I can understand it, they brake-it-down to dummies 101 format me. They keep me posted on required appointments that I need to be involved with so I can plan in advance. They are just on top of details so there are no surprises. You hear nightmares about Skilled Nursing Facilities. BAYSHIRE RANCHO MIRAGE is not that SNF. They are professionals who know their business, wrapped up in compassion, caring, a sense of humor and real concern for their patients. A special shout out to Yvonne. She’s just been incredible with EVERY interaction we’ve ever had with her and we appreciate her very much. And Jay at the front deska real servant’s heart.

My husband recently spent 10 days at Bayshire Rancho Mirage in the SNF. We had a wonderful experience while he rehabbed from a bad fall. The facility is clean and well maintained. Food is even good. The staff were pleasant and helpful. A special Thank you to Helga and Mackenzie (CNAs) and Bong and Theresa (PT). Without them he wouldn’t have made the amazing progress he did! We will recommend this facility to anyone needing this type of care!

There some outstanding employees at Bayshire who care about the residents and doing an outstanding job. Demond Eckert is a wonderful staff member. He is extremely knowledgeable, he can do anything and responds quickly when asked to help. John Seth is a very knowledgeable, caring and patient Med Tech. He truly goes the extra mile for the residents. He will always explore any possible avenue to find an answer for us. Kayla Sanchez is a young, hardworking young lady. She continues to move up in the organization. She is happy, energetic, and will do whatever she can to help. Crystal Welch has always shown great concern for the residents. She is young, smart, and continues to promote to a higher level. She will continue to move up.

I can’t say enough about how awesome Bayshire Skilled nursing facility is. My mother is 96 and there for a short time after being in the hospital. They have been so comforting, kind, and professional with her. From Lauren the social worker, to the physical therapy staff, all just wonderful! Also, a shout out to Jessica, who walked her to Bingo and helped her shower, very sweet girl! Thanks to all the amazing staff!!

We brought a group of family to visit my Dad for his 90th birthday and everyone was so friendly and helpful. The residents were engaging and seemed happy, and the staff were super! I wish I had gotten the name of one gentleman in particular who helped us so much as we were ill prepared for our little celebration, getting us set up and with supplies we had not thought of, and then checking in with us throughout the afternoon. Bayshire is an excellent facility! My mom's Nurse Ricky is an excellent and caring professional and all of the staff are amazing! My girlfriend is recovering from knee replacement surgery. The first thing you notice is it doesn't smell of urine. In the 1 1/2 hours I was there, 4 people came to check on her. Once was to take meds, once was to see if she needed anything, then they were giving out snacks, and again, how was she doing.

I have been visiting an old friend in the Memory Care unit at Bayshire, Rancho Mirage for more than a year. I visit two to three times a week now. The staff there are remarkable people. They exhibit kindness, knowledge, experience and an amazing level of patience and resident care. Our friend is very well cared for as are the other residents in view. The food is very good and the facility is well kept. I can’t compliment the staff enough for all that they do individually and as a group. We are very fortunate to have this level of care for our loved ones.

Entering as a visitor, I found the self check in slow. The pop up key board covers the typed text and due to how slow it is, I would type at a normal speed but it was unresponsive to some characters due to the speed. I stood there staring at a woman for a while until I finally said excuse me. She took a few before asking me what I needed. I needed to know the room number. Basically, my initial arrival wasn’t great. However, Tanya, who is new, was at the front desk when I returned to ask a question. She is awesome. She made up for all earlier unpleasantness. She is super friendly and eager to help. A gentleman came to the desk a minute or so later and he was pleasant too.

My brother-in-law was in Bayshire for his severe health care needs. I have to say that it is one of the best run assisted living facilities that I have every been in. They took such good care of my brother-in-law who was unable to walk and they put him in a Lift and lifted him from the chair to the bed. They took care of the bedsores that he came in with from ManorCare. They gave him their full attention. I’ve been a nurse in several nursing home facilities. I wouldn’t put my dog in most of them. If your health requires you to go to a nursing facility I would highly recommend Bayshire over anyone in the valley. I would like to thank them for all the care and loving attention to my brother-in-law in his darkest days and time of need. Dee and Joe
