After touring this facility, choosing an apartment and signing papers, nurse Trudy came to my home for an interview. We were accepted. Joe then took a fall at home and went to the emergency room where he was diagnosed with brain cancer and sent to a separate home for additional care. I moved into Bailey Pointe on September 03, 2022, alone for the first time in 66 years. Trudy has been my and my sons go to person for Healthcare needs. I would like explain to you why Bailey Pointe at Van Dorn is such a perfect place to be, and would highly recommend this place to anyone! As a frequent visitor, this place by far has all the amenities you can possibly think of. Every time I visit, I see how happy the residents are here. You can expect a very clean facility, with excellent dining options, and an abundance of activities, and wonderful care staff. I am so fortunate to know about Bailey Pointe. The activities, Lifestyles, is what really keeps the residents happy. You will never be bored with a full schedule of energetic programs. What I like to see is Bailey Pointe offers different outing options such as Joyrides that you can participate in such as going shopping. The dinging options exceed restaurant quality and taste, absolutely delicious! The nursing staff here is excellent, as they are very attentive and also will treat the residents as if they are their own grandparents. Everyone here is very respectful and has a passion. Catherine Horner, who is the executive director is very professional and has been in the assisted living business for a long time, and if you have any questions or concerns, she will immediately take care of it, and is very friendly. Barb, who is the assistant director is very knowledgeable in the business aspect and will always take care of any billing questions you may have is more than glad to help you with anything you need. Tess, who is the new culinary director, has a passion for cooking, and loves to share her passion by having excellent meals every single day. Danielle, who is the director of nursing is extremely passionate about her job, and always will help with any questions you may have and is very focused on her job. Trudy, the assistant director of nursing is always helpful. Beth, who is the marketing director always is so helpful and so friendly and gives excellent tours of the facility. Kyler, who is the director of activities makes this place a fun place to be at. He really does well with the residents and always has a good connection with the residents. To the serves I remember, such as Lino and Mackenzie, they will go above and beyond and make your dining room experience a great one. Tracy, Jamie and Sandy are some of the excellent chefs here with the meals representing their talents, great quality, and flavorful taste. If you are considering a place to take your friends or loved ones to, I would highly recommend Bailey Pointe at Van Dorn. This place is such a great place to be.

My mother has praised many of the staff for their kindness, but particularly noted that the man in charge of transportation, Dalton, goes above and beyond. She also says the housekeeping is meticulous and the cooks prepare a delicious range of food. I was disappointed that they won’t offer on site COVID vaccines, but many other health care needs are available right there.

Windcrest is awesome! Our family has looked at several places in Lincoln and in Omaha and Windcrest was the 1st choice. The management team always has an open door and if they don't know the answer they will find out. It is clean and well kept. The size is perfect, some places are so large and confusing but Windcrest makes is easy for the residents to get around. The residents are so sweet and friendly.

Moving to an assisted living facility, is a life changer for some seniors, but the staff made the transition painless. They are as responsive to the family as they are to the resident. The facility is very clean and comfortable. The staff treat the residents as their own grandparents. They are kind and caring. They make the residents feel very comfortable and safe. All the employees take special interest in the residents...from the dietary staff to maintenance to housekeeping. There is nothing they won't do for the residents. A variety of activities are offered daily as well as special events .... cookouts, holiday celebrations, ice cream sundaes, etc. If you are bored, it is by choice! Mom and Dad moved there several months ago, they found it very welcoming , with nice clean apartments and commons areas, good food, and very helpful kind staff. When Dad needed in home hospice they worked very smoothly with the agency. He has now passed away and Mom has changed from a 2 BR to a 1 BR, again with no hassles. Also, whenever my brothers and I had a question or request they returned our call promptly and communicated well with us. Just a great place.

My grandfather stayed here for a few months as we transitioned him from Bryan as we waited for a place to open up back home.
