My mother lived at The Terraces of Roseville for 5 years, passing away this past week. When my mother needed them the most these past few months in hospice care they were there for her. The front desk staff was always helpful, responsive and patient. The kitchen and wait staff were always patient and attentive, and the food was varied, fresh and good. My mom needed more and more assistance as time went by and the pharmacy techs, and room aides were kind, patient, prompt and skilled. Housekeeping did the best they could, with my messy mom, and her messy dog, a challenge. She loved living on the dog park, with neighbor pups often visiting through her open patio door. She had many friends amongst the other residents. I thought the administration was flexible and understanding and did the best they could in challenging circumstances of covid, staff retention and such. I am grateful I chose The Terraces of Roseville to take care of my mom. Dan Fair Oaks, CA

I was truly impressed with my first visit. I too felt a palpable positive energy entering their facility from the staff and residents alike. After my meeting with staff, they invited me to dinner. The whole staff and dinner were amazing! It wasn't hard to see this a well-run facility that takes pride in the quality of their service.

After researching and visiting several places in the Sacramento/Roseville area, we felt The Terraces of Roseville would be the best fit for Mom. The positive energy from the staff and other residents was immediately felt. Her apartment, including a balcony, and the numerous outdoor spaces provided easy access to fresh air. The Terraces offer an abundance of different activities, which again brings residents together outside of dining. With the changing holidays, it was fun to see what additional activities were planned as well as the coordinated decorations. Unfortunately, Mom's health declined quickly the last month of her 5-month residency and she passed in the care of the staff at The Terraces and Sutter Hospice. We wish she would have downsized and moved into The Terraces sooner. We can't say enough about the care and love shown to Mom, but also support to the family. Mom felt the love and her transition was peaceful. Living at The Terraces gave Mom her independence and dignity and for the family there was nothing better than knowing your Mom was in caring hands and there were eyes on her. Many thanks to all the Staff at The Terraces of Roseville. The Family of Marian Baltazar

Considering everything i have been through with Fremont Hills in Fremont Ca. i would say about The Terraces is that they are very accommodating and super professional. From the 1st phone call until now i have nothing but high regard for the staff and the Directors of sales and marketing. That would be Chris and Sherry 2 very professional persons. They have helped me through my dilemma and made my fathers move as easy as possible. I would highly recommend the Terraces. Allan A. Benson

There was something about walking into The Terraces that felt different from the other properties I visited. There was energy and life. There was laughter. The staff were relational with one another. One could sense the camaraderie and friendship among them. Perhaps it's that way with the other facilities too, but it wasn't on display the way it is at The Terraces. My mother had a dog who was, of course, her best friend. The Terraces don't just allow pets, they have made marvelous accommodations for them. Central Park is also known as the dog park. It's located in the interior of the property with no outlets to the parking lot. The worst thing that could happen if one's dog got loose is it might wander through the hallways. Meaning, it is a completely safe environment. That's truly amazing! When we left that day she knew she wanted to live there. She wanted to live in a place where the people were friendly and her beloved Digger was welcome. So, whoever came up with the ambassador program is to be congratulated.I have to brag about the medical staff and how wonderful they have been to my mother. I feel a lump in my throat just thinking about it. Eva and Norma have changed my mother's life. They don't just provide care for my mom, they CARE for my mom. They "mother" my mother and that's what she craved and needed most of all. Eva has advocated for my mother with her Primary Care physician at Kaiser. Because of her unrelenting determination to improve my mother's quality of life, my mom has thrived at The Terraces. Norma has also become her friend. When they come to mom's apartment it feels more like a visit than a task. I know there are other med staff that come who also deserve to be recognized - I just don't know them personally. Mom is so blessed by the attention and care she receives but never has to ask for.I have not heard my mother say she is happy in decades. Well, she is happy now. She says it often. She literally said she has never been happier in her life. She lives with terrible pain, but she is surrounded by people who help her make the most of her life every day. She looks forward to meals because she sits among friends. She has enjoyed MANY special events because living a vibrant life is more than just a tagline at The Terraces. She's had her face painted at the circus (in the dining room). She's attended a wedding reception (In the dining room). She's watched hula dancers and singers, and a variety of other entertainment because the Vibrant Life director, Amanda, wisely plans so many wonderful events to happen in the dining room at meal times. Genius. Come for the food, stick around for the fun, right?I'll close with this. There are brand new Assisted Living facilities springing up like mushrooms all over town. They are much, much more expensive than The Terraces. But life there isn't better. There are many that are less expensive. But living there isn't living. I feel incredibly lucky to have found The Terraces for my mom. She is more than content. She is happy. And because a Vibrant Life is the mission of the entire staff I can feel proud of the place I chose for my mother. However long she lives ... she will be living her best life.

I absolutely enjoy working with the terraces team not only are they a hop skip and a jump away but Carrie is always willing to jump in and help at my community whenever I ask! This independent living community is definitely one to be envied and it’s cost efficient compared to the others around, if you’re looking for a great place to live and to work with an amazing Director of sales and marketing, Carrie is the one ask for her!

I've been working for The Terraces of Roseville for about 5 months now and couldn't be happier that I chose to come. The company really cares not only about their residents but their employees as well. It feels good to work in a place that leads with their heart.

This Independent and Assisted Living Community is the best! I appreciate the friendly and warm residents. It's such a 'vibrant' neighborhood to live in! And the associates and directors are so welcoming and understanding and always willing to help!

I moved my mother-inlaw into the Terraces a few months ago. The staff is very friendly and has gone above and beyond to try to make her feel comfortable. It was a difficult transition for her and she fought it at first but has settled in now. She really likes the staff and the food. We like that she is in a safe place where she can move freely and make new friends.

The Terraces of Roseville is a fantastic place to work, and a warm and inviting place to call home. The entire staff has worked incredibly hard through the pandemic to keep the residents safety their top priority. Very friendly and outgoing staff members, and a great group of residents. I would absolutely move a loved one here without a second thought.

Im a senior center entertainer and have performed at the Terraces in Roseville since 2015. The residents at the Terraces are among the nicest group of people Ive gotten to meet over the years. And Traci Purvis, the activity director at the Terraces, Is a peach to work with. She always has a smile and a kind word for me. I would be happy to be a resident at the Terraces:)

My Father is currently a resident. He and our family has had mostly good experiences; very kind staff, caring, clean facility. However, apparently there is a recent problem with theft. My father had someone enter his apartment and take two rings from his nightstand, another resident had an IPad stolen and there have been other thefts. We filed a police report, and are hoping management will step up their security. Meanwhile, we are installing an interior camera in my dads apartment. Management changed the locks, however all staff still have keys. A plea to the ownership --- consider installing key card type locks so there is a record of who enters each apartment. My dad feels very violated and we are doing out best to give him peace of mind.

Ricki, we had a similar experience recently. My mom has lived there for 2-1-2 years and while there are some very kind and caring staff members who we love -- Linda, Dana, Sandy, Geri, A.D., Norma, to name a few -- there have been new hires in the past six to nine months, which is precisely the time period when Ive heard other families have reported thefts. My moms necklace was artisan-crafted, expensive, and she never took it off, even in the shower. According to my mom, who does have some bouts with Parkinsons-related dementia, one of the new girls took the necklace off and now its missing. I filed a police report and the officer assured me that if enough reports are filed when families realize their loved ones are missing items, they will send a detective to The Terraces to investigate. Im moving my mom to another place, not just because of the theft but because shes progressing in her dementia and needs more care. We will miss those staff members whove been so kind to her, but not the girl who stole her necklace.

My dad lives there. Everyone is very caring and compassionate. The staff is personable and responsive. It feels like a community with social activities and friendships. I could see my and husband and myself living there when the time was right . Oh and you can have wine with dinner in the dining hall:) The food is great!

My mom Marcie moved in awhile back, (assisted living) and being the responsible one for her, I feel like I did a great job choosing The Terraces! I really love everyone who works so hard to make it her home. Always a smiling face and hello each time I come for a visit. I can call anytime for anything, and that front desk is on it!! I am one happy daughter! oh yes, and my mom is pretty happy too.

We had a wonderful experience at The Terraces as we moved our grandparents into assisted living. The staff were caring and accommodating, and helped the many transitions go so well! I would highly recommend them!

So pleased with this facility. I gave it a real once over but everything looked great. It was very clean and well decorated. All the residents there that I spoke to LOVED IT! That's the best referral one can give! Staff was super sweet and Kim was amazing! She answered all my questions and took me everywhere! They have Wednesday field trips to the River Cats games, Old Sac, Nevada City, Bodega Bay..... and Sunday's after church they go for a drive. Fishing and games and crafts! I might move in!!!!!! Thank you Kim for helping me!

Moved my Mom in there almost a year ago, and we love it. The management has completely turned over, and are doing a great job bringing things around much, much better. Staff treat her well and courteously, room cleaned nicely each week. She's not happy at times with the meals, but that's par for the course with my Mom anyway. I've eaten there and found no real issues. Monthly evaluations are easy and well done for possible assisted living requirements. Mom moved in just after a knee replacement and needed assistance at first. Staff checked with her regularly. Once she's recovered, no more assistance is needed so those costs dropped.
