Our Mom has lived at Legend at Tulsa Hills for almost 3 years. During a very difficult time in our lives, the staff at the Legend has provided a safe, enriching, loving environment for her and our family as her dementia has progressed. Through all of the changes that occur in this environment, we have been able to care for our mother as a team, communicating and decision making together every step of the way. The core staff has been consistent, and they have developed important lasting relationships with our mother and our family. We are forever grateful for the care she has received and will continue to receive as her condition progresses. It truly takes a village to sufficiently care for a loved one, and I feel like we have people that truly love our mom and will listen to our concerns while doing their best to remedy any situations that arise. We believe that family involvement is crucial to a successful experience with any facility and that has been an integral part of the overall positive outcomes we have experienced at the Legend at Tulsa Hills.

I had an excellent experience today visiting your facility. Tara provided me with relevant information including floor plans and costs and she took me on a tour to show off your amenities and vacant rooms. We discussed my expectations and how Legend could meet them. She welcomed my observations and encouraged me to visit again with my mother to show her everything as well. I am in the very early stages exploring switching from intermittent home care to assisted living. Again, Tara was professional, knowledgeable, personable and very helpful in giving me tips on how to proceed. I am looking at other facilities as well but I was very impressed with what Legend can offer.

Remember, no place is perfect. But when one can’t care for a loved one themselves, in their own home, this is an excellent option. We placed my dad here after he broke a femur, then after surgery and rehab, broke the other femur. Residents can choose various sizes of apartments, choose meals in a dining room from a menu, and have plenty of activities to keep them busy should they choose to participate. If a resident needs home health, they come in and see them. I’m grateful Enhabit Home Health staff worked extremely well with Legend staff in caring for my dad. When it is time for Hospice care, they also seamlessly come in and help residents in that stage as well. I recommend this facility!! It was absolutely the best option for our family and we would choose it again. (Dad's apartment had plenty of closet space, nice bathroom with storage, and even a kitchen area with a refrigerator and large pantry space!)

I seldom write a review but I have to tell you "Legend at Tulsa Hills" is one fabulous place. Everyone I met was so gracious and they all love their job. The facility is also very clean and no odors like others I visited. I wrote a check for my brother's room and soon after a situation arouse wherein my brother didn't need the room and Legend's refunded 100 percent of my money with zero argument. Talk about reputable - they definitely are! I give them 100 stars out of 100!

The time came to find a new home for our relative. After visiting several places in Tulsa, we are so blessed and happy to have discovered The Legend at Tulsa Hills! The house is so nicely appointed with several conversation areas, cute apartments, a lovely dining room, a theatre and activity center, and a cozy fireplace that adds to the home feel! The staff have been so friendly and helpful with the transition, kind and patient. So much so, our relative at times thinks she is in a lovely hotel ( her words)! We can sleep at night and the worry is all but gone knowing she is safe, well fed, cared for, is socializing again, and her needs are met. From the first visit with Beth Stepein to inquire about placing my Mom in the Legends community till now I have the highest regard for the staff at Legends and the facility. My mom started in the assisted living area in July, 2022. Since then, she had moved to the Memory Care Unit at Legends. Or was a very easy transition for her being in the same location. Those who care for Mom are very kind and engaging and encourage her participation in activities. The activities are interesting and we especially like those involving music! I would also like to mention Ashley Giddens for her caring nature. Often times when my mom was having a tough day, she would help to calm my mother and help me stay in touch with her. I can't thank these two women enough for the messages they've sent along with the pictures of my mom having a good time. That's all we want for Mom during this time... I searched extensively for a special place for my father that could give him the care and compassion he needed. Legend delivered in all areas. My Dad is not only doing good, his condition is improving. The nurses, Tiffany and Vanessa, are outstanding. The staff in all areas are sweet and caring. Beth is awesome! She has helped in so many ways that went above and beyond any expectations. It is enjoyable to visit and even have meals there. I am so grateful to have found Legend at Tulsa Hills.

We moved our beloved dad to Legend from a very wonderful experience in independent living for eight years. At 93 years of age , it was time for him to have additional care and socialization. I had not anticipated beforehand what a wonderful place it would be for him, and I knew within an hour of touring the facility and meeting with Beth that it was a perfect place for him to live. I was relieved to know that they were more than willing to accommodate his needs stemming from progression in his dementia, which has been our greatest concern. The staff has been remarkably friendly and caring and compassionate, which has made him and us, hopeful for this to be a real home to him. We knew the time would come when we needed to find a QUALITY assisted living center for my Mom. After much research and tours, we decided the best option for Mom was The Legends at Tulsa Hills. From the very start of the process to getting her moved in, the staff has been amazing and hands on making sure Mom had everything she needed. Beth is one of the kindest ladies I've personally had the pleasure of doing business with. We never felt pressured at anytime. Today we had the opportunity to have lunch and it was amazing! Please don't take my word for it, if you're looking for a place for Mom and Dad, check them out for yourself. You'll be glad you did!

My father has lived at Tulsa Hills Legends for almost 5 years. He has very good care . Everyone is very kind and show much compassion for the residents. He has dementia and the staff is very well educated on how to deal with his illness. The activities are always appropriate for the many different levels of the residents. The rooms are very nice. My parents were in a 2 bedroom and when she passed he moved to a one bed room. Both were very nice and met their needs. Before the pandemic at least one member of my family would visit every day. We say the daily touting that the staff maintained at a very high level. We were in constant contact with any staff we needed to see. I am very impressed with the support and care my father receives.

My dad has been a resident at Legend for almost 5 years. We have been very pleased with the care and compassion he receives. Dad has dementia and needs assistance with daily activities. When our family was looking for a facility for our parents we wanted a place that offered memory care if we ever needed that option. He is still in an apartment and has been able to stay there after the loss of our mom. The staff is very caring. What they have done through this pandemic has been over the top. Keeping residents in there room is not an easy task. No place is perfect but Legend staff has always shown compassion for my dad, our family and other residents. Before the pandemic someone from our family was there on a daily basis. We saw how situations were handled with other residents, always professional. We feel like they are family to us.

We recently moved my mother-in-law to Legend at Tulsa Hill. Lynn Novak, marketing agent, is so sweet and follows up with emails letting us know that she is watching to see that my m-i-l is interacting and enjoying herself. Previously to moving m-i-l here, she was kept at home with constant in home care. While any such move is hard on a loved one, this transition was as comfortable as possible. When we asked the staff to please see that she attends events, they try to see that she attends activities. Legend's goal if possible is for the residents to attend 2 events a day.

My husband & I have been looking at assisted living facilities in Tulsa for a family member. We have visited Legends at Tulsa Hills a few times in the past week. We have three friends with family members there; two in assisted living and one in memory care. They have all been pleased with the care being given to their family members. Therefore, I was very surprised to see an extremely negative review posted on Sunday by another friend. I reached out to that friend, who had no idea what I was talking about! That post, which had her profile picture was SPAM! Please, do NOT take reviews here, or anywhere, at face value! All it takes is one person with an axe to grind, or just wanting to be malicious, to do great harm to a company. Which then can harm all the employees of that company. SHAME ON GOOGLE FOR NOT VERIFYING REVIEWS! And I will add, that every staff member that we have met at the Legends has been extremely professional, friendly, and caring! And the residents all appear to be well taken care of!

My Mom has been happy here for over 2 years. The basic charges are reasonable, though there may be extra charges for special needs. I have no idea what happens to people in Memory Care side. BTW, many residents on the front side have compromised memory too, but they are not a risk to flee the premises. The place is clean, and looks like a nice hotel.
