We researched many Assisted Living homes in the central Massachusetts area as potential homes for a near relative and selected the Enclave and one other for a deep dive including multiple visits by family members and by the member who is currently a resident. We all concurred that the Enclave was the best fit. My relative moved in a month ago and loves it. Nice facility, excellent food, friendly residents and caring and engaged staff. We highly recommend them!

Finding a place for my Dad was tough. He is very stubborn and it was hard to get him to even see places. He saw the Enclave and liked it. I told him he could do a one month trial and if he didn't like it, he could come back to stay with me. Two weeks in, he said "I LOVE IT!". He has everything he needs, it is always clean, the staff is always friendly. I know my Dad is in good hands at the Enclave. He is happy and healthy and I know that is because of the Enclave.

Today I had the opportunity to tour this community with a family who is searching for the right place for their father, and we all left feeling incredibly impressed. From the moment we walked in to The Enclave everyone was welcoming, patient, and genuinely interested in getting to know the family and their dad's unique needs. There was never any pressure, just honest conversations and a clear passion for helping older adults live with dignity and independence. We were even able to meet and tour the rooms of current residents and they were so lovely. The community itself felt warm, clean, and inviting. After visiting many assisted-living facilities, The Enclave of Franklin stood out above them all. First off the facility is small with plenty if common area gathering spaces and feels very comfortable. The dining room is spectacular, the entertainment and activity schedule is great and full of options for the residents! And the movie theater and the salon are first rate. The entire team is fantastic, offering a seamless transition for our mother. From the admission process to the medical director, we were able to engage a primary care doctor that comes to the facility and they arranged physical therapy and other services for us! We are grateful for the team and the assistance in the transition! We would highly recommend The Enclave for the transition into the next phase!

When my mother had a stroke last year, it was apparent that she could no longer live alone. Fortunately, I made the right choice when I chose The Enclave for her. She loves her apartment and we appreciate the excellent care she regularly receives there. The entire facility is bright and clean and you feel welcome the moment you walk in. I think the fact that it’s just the right size…not too big… enables staff to truly know the residents. The nursing team is kind and capable, and they keep in touch with me about any issues that arise. The aides and housekeeping staff also do an excellent job and I’ve noticed that there’s hardly any turnover at this facility. Lauren, the activities director, is a wonder. She is always smiling and interacting with the residents. She offers activities that are relevant and fun. She has won my mother over and that’s no easy task! If you are looking for a place where your loved one will feel safe, respected and engaged, you should look here first.

The Enclave of Franklin is truly outstanding. The staff are caring, attentive, and treat residents like family. The community is warm, welcoming, and beautifully maintained. There is a wide variety of group activities every week from games, crafts, and exercise classes to social events and outings which keeps residents engaged and connected. In addition, the on-site rehab services through FOX rehabilitation are excellent and make it easy for residents to get the support they need without leaving the facility. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe and supportive place for their loved ones.

I am so very glad we moved my husband to Enclave. Transitioning someone you love to a facility is never easy. I was impressed on that first visit. When my husband visited a few days before Christmas, his immediate response was that he wanted to move to Enclave. When I asked when he wanted to make the move, his response was a resounding "Now!!" Paperwork was completed swiftly. He had been in another facility for 8 months previously and we all feel that Enclave is 100, or more, times better in every way! He says the food is better and he likes the menu choices. He likes being able to go to meals when he wants to eat. He enjoys walking outside in the grounds. He is glad that he has his phone. This allows our sons who live out of state to call. He feels the care givers are cheerful and helpful. Enclave is more interested he what he can do, rather than what he cannot. When he needs help, it is respectfully given. Everytime I visit one of the staff tells me about something wonderful that my husband has done. Even one of the maintenance spoke to him by name today. My husband is happy. My son's and I are happy. There are not enough stars in the sky to give Enclave their needed stars for this review. Thank you to every person I have spoke to at Enclave for the care you give.

Two months ago, my mother made the transition from living alone to moving into The Enclave of Franklin-and what a difference it has made. Before coming here, she was not eating well, socially isolated, anxious, and experiencing memory issues. She was barely “surviving.” Now, just two months later, she is absolutely “thriving.” She genuinely loves it here. The supportive environment, the welcoming staff, and the many engaging activities have completely transformed her daily life. Her favorite activity is the daily exercise group, especially because it features music from her generation. She knows all the songs and looks forward to it each day. Her nutrition has improved significantly now that meals are served in a beautiful dining room alongside her new friends. It’s comforting to know she’s enjoying her meals and socializing. Most impressively, she went from needing level three to level one care within her first month-testament to how much better she’s doing both physically and emotionally. We are beyond grateful for the attentive and compassionate care provided by The Enclave of Franklin. It has given both my mom and our family peace of mind. Thank you for helping her rediscover joy, community , and wellness.

Enclave is a first class assisted living facility. The staff is so friendly and makes my mom feel so comfortable each day. My mom has only been a resident for a month and the aids are all fantastic. The food in the dining room is excellent with several specials everyday. The chef Steve really cares about all his customers. We feel very fortunate to have found the Enclave of Franklin for our dad who recently needed extra help due to his progressing dementia. At the Enclave he is able to live independently but has help with managing his medications, cleaning and doing laundry and the availability of a full service dining room for all of his meals. Our dad has met friends and often participates in some of the many daily activities offered, both of which have helped with stimulation and socialization. The staff are welcoming, approachable and always willing to help and keep us aware of how our dad is doing. It’s clear he is safe here and treated with kindness, patience and respect. The community at the Enclave has the feeling of being one big family that is caring for your family member. Thank you to everyone at Enclave for both your support of our dad’s well-being as well as for making this a smooth and reassuring transition for our family.

My mom has been at The Enclave for almost a month and I don't even recognize her. She is thriving. After losing my dad, I knew I couldn't care for her by myself and the staff at Enclave have been amazing. She loves the food and this is coming from a very picky eater (sure, she has grilled cheese and cheeseburgers frequently, but she LOVES them). She even started attending some of the activities which I wasn't sure if she would ever do that. She has made some nice friends as well. In what I thought would be a disaster because she didn't want to go and didn't think she needed to go to assisted living, it has been a dream. I hope nothing changes!

Hard to believe that 2024 is coming to a close. Before that happens I had promised to write a review for The Enclave because it is a very special place, and it means a lot to me and the town of Franklin. Initially I got to visit this “Lifestyle Plus” community in my role as a part-time dog walker. This provided me with a sort of passive observer view of the environment, and of its personnel. What I noticed first, foremost and on the regular was how nice and friendly everyone was. Also, what stood out was the cleanliness, the wide open design of the floors (angular layouts with each wing meeting in three congregation spaces per floor). The effect of this design, (along with the beautiful name placards on the doors), is to create a sense of community. Of Togetherness. This is not a home that isolates its residents. That is the best first impression one can hope for from an assisted living residence! Then I got to know the staff. Either from myself noticing a resident in need, or simply by my walking the dog. They are positive, cheerful, and professional in their tasks. Whether it be the cooks, the housekeeping staff, or the maintenance person - each gave me the feeling they are in this occupation for all the right reasons. As my year went by, my dog walking days drew to a close and I found a new position working with seniors in their transitional needs. This lead me to working more intimately with many assisted living centers in Mass as well as RI, and the role has furthered my relationship with Enclave. After visiting and touring over a dozen local residences, I can tell anyone who is shopping for a place for their loved one that this is one of the very best in the MetroWest. Each of the staff members are caring, compassionate, and committed to the safety and well-being of the residents. From Len (the Executive Director), to Carolyn (Director of Sales Marketing), to Judith (Activities & Program Coordinator) - there is a palpable passion for the holistic healthfulness offered here. It’s a combination of things: the food, the friendliness, along with the facility being set back well away from traffic and nestled in nature. It is the enthusiastic energy given to the daily activities meant to keep things fun, and the mind and fingers nimble. It is also the gentle, watchful security of the place (the front desk is ALWAYS occupied with someone paying attention to the comings and goings at the front entrance, and the emergency exit doors at the end of the wings are always securely locked and alarmed). The front porch area is a wonderful veranda where residents enjoy lounging when it’s warm, comfy seating and cold bottles of water always at the ready. I’ll conclude by telling a quick story. It was my second-to-last day dog walking, and they had just gotten a new resident (a lady with dementia). As I left the wing I was on, I encountered her there at the top of the stairs, and worried for her I asked how she was. She seemed quite disoriented, and nearly in a panic. She asked me to take her back to her home. I assured her that everything would be ok, and asked her to please remain there while I went to get someone. I went down to the front desk to find the on-call manager Sandra who was engaged in a couple other items of business. I informed her what was happening - and without batting an eye she dropped everything immediately and went right up to help. Later she told me that was the fifth time doing this for this for that very same resident. She was genuinely positive, cheerful, and kind about it despite it getting a bit repetitive by this time. In my opinion, this sort of character is exactly what one wants in a home for their loved one, and this doesn’t happen by accident. That level of caring comes from superb leadership from the top down. It comes from a place where the employees are treated well and respect permeates everything. If I was looking for a home for my senior loved one in the Franklin area, I would need to look no further than The Enclave!

She did activities geared to Alzheimer's and she loved everything about the activities. The facility was great to her and the staff was caring. Aunt Patty and Uncle Steve frequently visited Mary in the facility and she unfortunately needed more care and Susan found a very good nursing home in the Franklin area for Mary.

This is our first experience of moving a family member into an assisted living facility. The hardest part was making the decision to follow through with it, the easiest piece was choosing The Enclave. After having visited a few facilities near our home, we knew The Enclave was the best fit. From the start, the energy felt welcoming and the personnel were friendly, knowledgeable, experience and approachable. During our initial tour the Director of Sale & Marketing, Carolyn Pereira, told us that all of the staff at Enclave works as a team to care for the residents and experience has proven this to be true. Whether we’re talking to the receptionist, the activities director, cleaning staff, dining room staff, or the executive director, they know how our mother is doing and have the most up-to-date information. They’ve made a great effort to get to know her and they communicate about how she’s doing by connecting with us when we visit and sending texts and photos. There’s a caring and vibrant community at The Enclave and it’s clear to us that they care for the residents and support the family too. They’re aware that it can be a difficult transition for everyone. I’m thankful for their help and knowing our mother is cared for at The Enclave.

The Enclave in Franklin, what can I say except GREAT!!! Moving my elderly Aunt to this beautiful facility was made seamless by the staff at the Enclave. They have EVERYTHING; medical, escorts to meals, laundry, housekeeping, you name it, they have it. The rooms are spacious, modern and have all the amenities your loved one may need. My mom moved into the Enclave from an independent living facility almost three years ago during Covid after falling and breaking her neck. The staff was very helpful with the transition and went above and beyond to have my mom move in during Covid .They did an excellent job keeping the residents and staff safe during Covid with testing ,vaccinations and keeping us informed of the Covid status She has been well taken care of. The activity directors keep the residents engaged and encourage the residents to participate, even going around to each door to encourage residents out of their rooms The staff works as a team and cares for the residents as if they were their own. Her cognitive abilities had started to decline and have escalated this past month and she was hospitalized with dementia with psychoses. She has moved into the memory care unit at the enclave. All of the staff has been very supportive and helpful during this difficult time and many have gone above and beyond for my mother and I. I could have not gotten through this without all their support. The memory care staff is wonderful and also very caring and supportive. I feel she will be safe and well cared for and I am very grateful RZ

Carolyn did tell me that with the level of care my mother needed, Enclave was not the right fit for her. That easily could have been the end of the discussion, but Carolyn went WAY out of her way to actually HELP me find a place that could accommodate all of my mother's needs! My aunt has been a resident at The Enclave for 15 months. She had always lived alone, and we knew her adjustment might be a challenge. Yet the way she was greeted and socialized allayed our concerns. The Marketing Director Emily particularly made sure she was doing well those first few days and kept us informed, which was invaluable. Throughout the management and staff made her feel safe and cared for. The care has encompassed both her physical well-being and her social interaction and activities with the other residents (her favorites are bingo and the musicians that are brought in). Particularly impressive is the way The Enclave reacted to the Covid threat. They were among the first to quarantine, well before many other senior residences and medical facilities. The testing and eventually vaccination was handled professionally. Our family felt that my aunt was in the safest place she could be. And, perhaps most impressively, they were able to keep the activities going that my aunt loves -- socially-distanced bingo moved into the hallways; the musicians now performed outside the residents' windows. Finally, a shout out to the leadership team -- the Executive Director, Business Manager, Head of Resident Care, Marketing Director, and last but not least, the Dining Director. You and your staff have made my aunt feel that she is happily at her home.

The Enclave of Franklin has gone above and beyond in making life good for my 93 year old aunt. Just befre the pandemic hit, my aunt, who lived alone in upstate NY, had to have a pacemaker inserted. While she was in rehab, we (all the nieces and nephews who live in Mass and Conn) decided to look for assisted living for her, both near us and near her in Rochester NY. On a Saturday in early March 2020, we visited a number of places near us (South of Boston), with the idea that we would go the next week to Rochester to check out options there. Of the places we visited here, the Enclave was by far our first choice becuse of the hominess of the facility and the warmth of the employees. But Rochester was where she wanted to be. A few days later, the world shut down due to Covid! So we made a family decision to see if we could get her into the Enclave asap to have her near us and to ensure her safety. the Enclave went out of it's way to facilitate her move from out of state during a state of emergency and to make her feel comfortable even though we couldn't visit her for a while. About a year later, my aunt, who really enjoyed all the activites and efforts that the Enclave staff offered even while in quarantine, fell and broke her arm. As a result to her weakened arm, she could no longer use her walker and needed a wheelchair full time. This meant that she couldn't get to the bathroom on her own, etc. Rather than force her into a nursing home, which the rehab faciity she went to recommended, and which was so expensive and hospital like (not at all homey), the nurses and administrators at Enclave determined a care plan that llowed her to move into the memory care wing at a reasonable monthly cost, where she could get more one on one care and be safe and happy. She loves it there! We highly recommend the Enclave of Franklin for families looking for a warm and caring home where every resident is treated as an individual rather than just another patient! When I can no longer live on my own, I hope to relocate there!

We just had our mom transferred here. I cannot say enough great things about this place and staff! The entire staff went out of their way -to say way past over and above and beyond ..is not enough...in helping us get our mom there,and with dealing with the horrible rehab place she was in! Extremely helpful and friendly! Every single one! Including any of the residents there also! I have never been in a place like this where people are genuinely happy to be there! A very warm and welcoming community! We are extremely happy our mom has a new home here. Her first day,she was already into the activities and socializing. She loves it! don't hesitate to have your loved one love here,you won't regret it. It's an unbelievable great feeling and peace of mind knowing she's in a fantastic place like this.highly recommended!

My father has been living in Franklin since October of 2016. The people who work at Atria truly do become family. There is on open door approach to my father's wellness. If something isn't working for him or me, it gets addressed immediately. The activities are varied and fun. My father is truly a part of a community that keeps him active and vital. It gives me freedom and peace to know that when I work or travel that my dad is in the best possible place he can be to thrive as a senior citizen.
