I work for The Oaks...so I don't know it that discredits me in your mind or not...but, I am the marketing director...My face and my voice are out there daily representing The Oaks at Lebanon...and I don't take that lightly...I would not work for a company of any kind if I could not go out in front of people and know that what I say I represent is what I actually represent...I can honestly say without any hesitation... that The Oaks at Lebanon loves seniors... and the whole team...management, nursing, dining, care staff...do everything they can to create a warm and engaging environment for our residents...there are 60+ 'human' team members at The Oaks...we don't always get things perfect ...but we sure lose sleep and use a lot of energy trying! Our Executive director has been at the Oaks for 31 years! We have a lot of staff that have been here 10-15 years and some even longer...our residents and our team are extended family... We are The Oaks at Lebanon...where we ENGAGE LIFE and have a HECK OF A LOT OF FUN!

Management is there for if you ever need anything. Doesn’t matter what it is. I couldn’t ask for a better work place.

The Oaks of Lebanon was SO welcoming. My mom was apprehensive about going to assisted living. But Angie, Jenni and any staff we met were warm, welcoming and helped put my moms reservations to rest. Even several of the residents stopped in the halls to tell mom she would “really like it there. That this is a great place.” One of the staff that was off duty with her children and two puppies stopped, so mom could pet them. I know my mom is going to be in good hands at the Oaks.

As a community member, I just love the Oaks! Their staff is all so wonderful and friendly. The Oaks care about their community and are always giving back in any way they can. The residents are often seen sitting out in the courtyard or in the front yard enjoying the beautiful gardens. The rooms and building are very well cared for and beautifully decorated. I love that this facility is pet-friendly and I enjoy watching the residents with their pets. The Oaks is defiantly a place where they Engage Life and Have a Heck of a lot of FUN.

When visiting a dear friend yesterday evening I came across some staff gossiping about one staff person... It is one of my biggest pet peeves. They were so mean about this person I just listened for a minute.. I kept hearing the radio going off and this group just ignored it, they were so involved with bashing this person. Made me sick. When I asked my friend about it she said it was the norm... she has waited up to an hour to get someone to answer a call. This is unacceptable!!!! I will be getting information on wellness checks. As far as Im concerned it is elder abuse period.

My husband has been there for a few weeks. He seems to really like it. He was telling me that he played BINGO three times! He never played before. He seems to enjoy socializing in a safe environment. It's a relief to me. I hated to leave him anywhere, but it's so much easier when I know he likes it! Thanks so much to a very nice staff!

My grandmother is a resident here. I currently live 500 miles away in California and haven't really been able to connect with her while being so far away. This week, I was able to schedule a call and chat with her with the help of the amazing staff here. I especially want to give a shout out to Julia, who went above and beyond to step up the call and help my grandmother be prepared to talk with me as she now doesn't know exactly who I am. During the call, my grandmother talked about how nice The Oaks is, and how she feels safe being there with the staff.
