As the daughter of a resident who has called East Hill Senior Living home for nearly 10 years, I cannot say enough about the extraordinary care and compassion we have experienced. My mom recently transitioned from Independent Living to Assisted Living after a significant decline, and while it was an incredibly emotional decision for our family, the staff made the process as seamless and comforting as possible. They treated not only my mom with dignity and kindness, but our entire family with empathy, patience, and genuine support. What sets East Hill apart is the people. From leadership to nursing, dining, housekeeping, maintenance, and every staff member in between, there is a culture of warmth and caring that you simply cannot manufacture. They know the residents by name, celebrate them, advocate for them, and truly make the community feel like home. The Executive Director, Samantha, leads with openness, flexibility, and a clear commitment to doing what is best for the residents. Dayna and her team in Independent Living have been incredible partners throughout the years”always responsive, creative, compassionate, and willing to work collaboratively to meet my mom's changing needs. Their kindness has made an immeasurable difference in our lives. Over the past decade, we've watched countless staff members go above and beyond in ways both big and small: taking extra time to chat with residents, offering a reassuring hand during difficult moments, and treating everyone with respect and humanity. You can feel that they genuinely care. No senior living community is perfect, but what matters most is the heart of the people caring for your loved one. East Hill has that heart in abundance. Entrusting someone else with the care of a parent is one of the hardest things you'll ever do. I am profoundly grateful that my mom has spent these years surrounded by people who have loved and cared for her so well. They have become an extension of our family, and for that, we will always be thankful. If you are looking for a place where your loved one will be known, valued, and cared for by truly exceptional people, I wholeheartedly recommend Watermark.

From the Introductory Meeting with Jakeith Jackson and Glenda Rivera our experience at East Hill was warm, welcoming and informative. It was this positive, supportive atmosphere that encouraged us to make the personal, life-changing decision to move into this senior living community. In addition, the suggestion of assistance from the Living Forward Company to help us downsize, as well as pack and move, was exactly what we needed. This experience was very positive and set us up to feel "at home", surrounded by our personal belongings. Immediately upon our first day, East Hill residents welcomed us and invited us to join them for meals. During these first encounters we learned about daily life and activities here in the community. The weekly community bulletin provides helpful information about community activities and services. This has been useful to us in planning daily routines. The assistance of Glenda Rivera, the Moving In Coordinator, has been invaluable, She has been the focal point of all our needs to settle into our new environment and make this new apartment, our home. This included the keys to all needed areas, hanging pictures, providing screens for the windows, and all the little things required. Now, with the help of Glenda, we have met many of the staff who make East Hill a home for all its residents. Greg and I feel like family members; we can now navigate the community of East Hill. Thankfully, Greg and Pauline

As someone that is very familiar with this community, I find that not only the residents, but the staff are phenomenal. I have seen this community work through tornados and other situations where the unity of the staff comes together even stronger. I would absolutely want my mother to live here. There are tons of programs and lectures. The residents come from all walks of life and love to share their experiences. The community is always spotless and updated apartments are just a bonus.

My aunt loves the staff here!

The Springs is such a small close knit rehab where they provide excellent care to all their residents. The facility is up to date and beautiful. Would highly recommended to someone needing short term rehab or private pay long term placement.

I find it more than odd that many of the reviews posted on this site are written by employees of the Watermark at East Hill. What exactly does that tell anyone? My mother lived in assisted care at the Watermark at East Hill for 4 ½ years until her passing in early 2025. At first, everything seemed fine. About 6 months into her stay, things changed—initially, small things like the nurse assigned to my mother not responding to messages or answering questions. In fall 2023, my mother fell in her apartment and fractured her hip. After a brief hospital stay, she was admitted to The Springs within the Watermark for rehabilitation. Members of her care team at The Springs said my mother was walking and would need a lift chair in her room. When I visited her after she returned to her apartment, I discovered that she could not stand, and she could not walk. When I took her to an orthopedic doctor for a follow-up visit after her hip fracture, the doctor knew that my mother was not able to walk, as did the radiology technician. I never felt the same way about the Watermark after this occurred and added my mother to some waiting lists at other facilities. By December 2024, my mother was dying from COPD, for which she had been receiving hospice care for some months. After she died in January 2025, I was told that her estate would receive a credit, given that she died on the 7th day of the month and had paid for the entire month for room and board and care. In early February 2025, I discovered that the Watermark had withdrawn a sizable sum from my mother’s bank account—1 month after she died. When I confronted them about this, I was told that it was an error that had been corrected and that her estate would receive a credit for the false charge in February and a credit for the month of January 2025. They have since refused to pay the credit despite multiple contacts. I am now attempting to work with a state agency to recover the funds. I cannot in good conscience recommend this facility to anyone based on what my mother and I have experienced. My involvement with this facility has turned into a nightmare that I wouldn’t wish on anyone.

Joyce and I enjoyed a delightful meal with residents of the watermark. The meal was scrumptious and the residents were cordial and answered numerous questions . Thought it was a great " meet and great" concept.

By far the most caring individuals we have ever encountered. Such empathy and passion for all the patients.

The Watermark at East Hill is fabulous. My husband was recovering from many complications due to surgery. He had been to several skilled nursing facilities each one worse than the last then we found The Watermark. It was a game changer for us. When we met Jennifer, the Clinical Liaison we were immediately put at ease. Her kindness and compassion was exactly what we needed. Each staff member treated us like family We were truly blessed to find the watermark.

I’ve been a patient at The Watermark at East Hill since August 1, 2024. From the first day it has been exceptional. The admission went smoothly. Jennifer in administration helped make the transfer from the hospital very smooth. The room I was assigned was very clean and equipped with walker and wheelchair. All of the nursing staff are very friendly and professional!!! The food throughout the day is very well prepared and enjoyable !! The reason I am at the Watermark is for Physical Therapy .. I have not regained my physical strength since my bypass surgery!! The Physical Therapy and therapist are AMAZING.I have PT and OT 6 days a week! I am feeling stronger wash day. During my recovery I have to say is The Watermark at East Hill is Fabulous and truly earns FIVE STARS

Friendly, lots of quality activities, extensive number of menu items, great service, responsive and caring staff, attractive apartments, good value, continuing care services, and located near many medical specialists and first rate restaurants.

Moved in a few weeks ago. Everyone has been very nice. Jillian was great to work with through the moving processes. Chelsea has been great helping us to get acclimated. Everyone one has been very nice and helpful as we learn where every thing is. The other residents we have met have been welcoming and friendly. Glad we moved here
July 2024
What an awesome place. The atmosphere was inviting. We had what I thought was a great meal which I thought was made special for the sales presentation, but learned it was a normal meal. No pressure sales and they answered all questions thoroughly. The layout was exceptional. All areas connected by skywalks. Pleasant staff. Also we met some residents who appear very satisfied.

I'm so pleased that my mother is going to move to The Watermark at East Hill. The staff at the community has done an amazing job of welcoming her. Vicki Perrotta was the first to tell us about The Watermark and encourage that we check it out by signing up for a respite. Valentina Rrapi planned the two-day respite out with great attention to detail making sure my mom could enjoy activities and be able to meet other residents while participating. Valentina patiently answered so many questions for my mom, which in turn gave my mother great perspective on what life would be like to live at The Watermark. As a direct result of the respite, my mom decided to make the decision to move in. Jakeith Jackson has been instrumental in guiding us through the contracts, patiently answering questions. Chelsea Dugan has jumped in to help us understand how to plan for our move-in date and is making the transition easy. We are all so excited to soon have my mom join this wonderful community.

Wonderful experience from first phone call through an overnight visit. Jamie, sales person, is excellent and very easy to work with. She answered all of our questions, went above and beyond to arrange an overnight visit coordinating everything so that all we had to do was show up, enjoy and discover all that the Watermark at East Hill has to offer. If you're thinking of retirement living, give Jamie a call. You'll be in good hands.

Invitation to lunch/presentation. Meal was very good. Service was poor. Affair ended abruptly. Guests were rude. Continuous chatter during program. Those in charge should have asked for quiet. Presenters were dressed inapproriately.

It is a very nice facility with friendly and helpful staff. The lunch was quite good.

My husband and I visited Watermark at East Hill as part of our search for a CCRC ( continuing care community). It is a beautiful community with extraordinary views of the surrounding hills. Our tour was very comprehensive and we were given the opportunity to view several apartments that had the floor plans that we were interested in. The apartments that we looked at were light filled and spacious. The common areas appear very comfortable and well appointed. The amenities are aplenty and there are many activities to choose from. We didn’t get to taste the food at The Watermark but the menu options sounded delicious. If you are looking for a retirement community that offers a life care plan, I would recommend that you visit the Watermark at East Hill.
April 2024
BEWARE! The billing system is the worst I have ever seen. They overbill and will not return any of the overbilled amount. Everything is done behind the scenes and does not show on the statements if provided. Also some of the ratings of 5 stars are from the upper staff, not residents.
March 2024
My parents didn’t ultimately choose the Watermark (no reason other than personal preference) but the team at Watermark - led by JaKeith Jackson went above and beyond from our very first meeting. The information he gave us about his community and similar communities was invaluable. He spent so much of his time with us, in person, phone calls, answering questions. His gentle check ins and sincerity was the cherry on top. If JaKeith’s team is indicative of the care you’ll get at The Watermark (and I believe it is) then I’m disappointed my parents won’t be living there!
March 2024
The Watermark is a great place - the employees and overall environment is inclusive, caring and responsive. I am happy that my Mom has made her home there. I know that they will be there for her if needed. The staff make themselves available to our family and always make us feel welcome. Chelsea and Dayna are my go to gals, when it comes to making sure Mom is doing well. Thanks
March 2024
Jakeith Jackson gave us a tour of The Watermark at East Hill. What a wonderful ambassador he is! Warm, funny and professional - we could not have been in better hands. He knew everyone and the facilities and programs he shared with us were inviting. Watermark seemed to take good care of their residents. Thank you JaKeith!
February 2024
Jamie gave a wonderful tour and lots on information that I needed to make a decision. This was my first choice due to her friendliness and knowledge. Unfortunately things change and I must stay closer to family in Massachusetts for now. If that changes I will definitely contact Jamie again

My mom has been in the independent living section of watermark for the past four years and we could not be happier. It is a lovely community with very friendly residents The staff are incredibly caring and go above and beyond for those in the community. The food is excellent and there are lots of activities. I think the price is competitive and reasonable for all that you get. We are very happy and my mom is too.
December 2023
It’s been a difficult transition for my mother going from being completely independent to realizing that it might not be the ideal situation for her anymore. All the staff at Watermark at East Hill have been accommodating, gracious and have done their best to help with a difficult situation. I would particularly like to give a shout out to Jaime Litvaitis! She has gone out of her way to assist with this transition and I am grateful for her help. Jaime was both Professional and Compassionate. There are many Assisted Living Communities in our area. Some might be decorated more to your liking. Perhaps the food is better elsewhere. At the end of the day, only the dedicated people that provide services matter the most. Love the people at Watermark.
November 2023
I am writing to express our sincere gratitude for the warm welcome and informative tour that we received during our visit yesterday with Jamie Litvaitis. Jamie had been taking the time to answer all of our questions and address our concerns. We were deeply impressed by the facilities, the variety of activities offered, and the genuine care that East Hill are providing to its residents. While we are not ready to make a decision to move immediately at this time, I am confident that the Watermark at East Hill would be an excellent choice for us when the time come
September 2023
Beautiful place!! Spoke to a lovely woman yesterday (I apologize I forgot her name) but will call back today to get it, but she’s the one who takes in the patients and books them. She took all of dad’s information and was happy to hear they took his Medicare and I was able to book a bed for him after his hip surgery without any issue! Such an easy process and I appreciate her kindness!!
August 2023
I spoke with Jillian Jarrin. She was absolutely great. Although it did not work out for my parents, knowing she is there I would highly recommend them. Thank you for your assistance and advice.
July 2023
Our family's experience with Sales Director, JaKeith Jackson was wonderful. He is kind, engaging, well-informed and did everything in his power to address the needs of our family. We felt JaKeith was also totally honest and forthright with us. Our family is truly grateful for his assistance. A true professional.
June 2023
The Watermark at East Hill is wonderful. The staff are welcoming and capable, the property is beautifully maintained, the interior design is spacious and inviting, the grounds and landscaping are lovely, and the residents seem to enjoy life at Watermark tremendously. Everyone we met during our visit spoke highly of their life on campus, and they are engaged in a wide range of programs and activities.

Super place! My wife andI love it.Super staff and very friendly residents. Come and visit us
April 2023
I find it hard to express how great the Watermark is. As soon as you walk in the front door you realize you walked into a special place. The employees are friendly! They want to answer your questions. They want you to know you matter to them. As you tour the buildings you begin to think you are in a 5 star hotel. My family is so happy we found the Watermark for my brother. It is just right! We have all visited him regularly and find it's a great place for your loved one.
March 2023
Mom has lived in her home for countless years, and firmly insisted that living alone in her house was final. Well, Mom had pneumonia, a trip to the hospital and continued Rehab at the Watermark was in order. Samantha (admin) showed Mom various apartments for Community Living. Mom agreed to try it out. 3 weeks in, and Mom just loves it there. The Pub, incredible meals, and card games galore. Mom said, "I'm having a ball!" Also noted that everyone is so, so friendly, staff included. THANK YOU!!!!!! As a retired physical therapist, having worked in nursing homes, and assisted living spaces, I have no words to describe The Watermark (fantastic, awesome, great?) Again, thanks.
January 2023
I’ve visited the Watermark many times and it’s beautiful. The receptionists, Executive Director and staff are friendly and welcoming. The residents are always smiling and there’s always something to do. It’s a great place.

Communication on multiple fronts has been almost nonexistent. Our family has to leave multiple messages with no guarantee of a response. He called twice last week for Maintenance to check on a phone issue, but no one addressed the problem. He went by Friday night to discover the phone off the hook in the bedroom. Apparently, our was exposed to a Covid positive individual. Family members need to be very cautious about potential exposures. This behavior is unacceptable and potentially life threatening. It was a nice facility a few years ago but current management is out of their league.
May 2020
I write this as a 5+ year resident of WEH early in the Pandemic of 2020. That our decision to move into WEH was the correct one has been apparent for some time. But the performance of our staff and the national Watermark organization has been outstanding in these difficult times. Results still count!
May 2020
You walk into The Watermark at East Hill greeted by the friendliest staff. The residents/staff are all friendly. There are so many different classes. Their is a clean pool, clean fitness center, and residents are always attending activities. BEST COMMUNITY!
May 2020
I can't say enough about this community - from the staff to the services to the active, engaged family of residents...all great. Best of all, with the multiple levels of care from independent living to assisted living and memory care and even on to skilled nursing, this community can be your forever home.
May 2020
Watermark has always been my first and only recommendation to my loved ones! Between the beautiful community and personable, caring team...Any person that moves to the Watermark is going to feel right at home and thrive there, mark my words! I recommend anyone looking into making a move to check them out.
March 2019
I had a wonderful first impression of the Watermark. I toured the facility three times. The Villa is a beautiful memory Care facility. I have two friends who had their parents there and spoke so highly of the care they got. It’s clean and homey, with excellent friendly staff. Would not hesitate to have my mom there.
