Very clean place, looks like a hotel, great patient care. If you want to put your loved ones in a nursing home, please I encourage you to look for non profit organizations like this one, from my experience working in the field, these have always been the best places for your aging relatives.

We could not be happier with the care our mother has received at The Meadows. She feels like they are “family” to her and describes the atmosphere as “a big hug every day”. Our family highly recommends this facility!

Helped my parents move in here this past week. They moved into an independent living facility that is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath cottage with a patio in the back. It's roomier than I thought it would be, especially the bedrooms. Everybody here is really nice and friendly. The only problem are the paint fumes; they are really strong and can give you a headache, and its making my mom nauseated.

My husband has been at Morningside Manor for 4 years now. This has been such a blessing to have found this home. From the staff to the nurses to the home cooked meals to the rooms.... I cannot say enough good things. They truly CARE! A special thank you! to Gwen, Kathy and Mr. West.

I just cannot say enough good things about our experience with the Morningside Ministries staff at their Transitional Care-Skilled Nursing facility. My husband, Jimmy, needed a facility that could care for him through a 6 week IV antibiotic treatment program and pain management for a spinal infection. When I inquired about availability, Shanna Flores, the Director of Admissions immediately scheduled me for a tour of the facility. She was very kind and understanding of the overall stress when selecting a facility. The facility was very clean, and the rooms nicely decorated. I requested a referral to Morningside Manor directly after my tour and by end of day Cyndie Gallegos, Liaison, came to the hospital to call on my husband and I. She spent more than hour just visiting with us and answering any questions we had about Transitional Care. When we moved from Methodist Texsan to Morningside Manor, it was a Friday evening. Many staff members stayed late to get us a settled and were very accommodating with our room need requests. The welcome from the staff was warm and caring. Harold from the nutritional services offered to prepare Jimmy dinner and went over the menus for the week and how to request alternative items. Harold spent time with Jimmy to understand his food preferences and what he normally eats at home. Throughout the weekend staff continued to stop in to offer their assistance. Brooks Powell, Assistant Executive Director, stopped in and answered many questions that we never thought of asking before we transferred. No one looks forward to spending the holidays in the hospital, but the staff at Morningside Manor helped create the spirit of Christmas for all of us. The facility was decorated with beautiful trees, villages and an amazing nativity from Italy. On Christmas Eve, Wes Wells, Executive Director, brought his wonderful dogs to each room to visit with residents. We were so happy to spend some time with his dogs and he encouraged us to bring our own dogs in to visit. We followed his advice and must agree, it was the best medicine to have Jimmys best 4 legged friends with him in his room during the day. The RNs, LVNs and CNAs in Unit 6 of the Transitional Care Facility have been outstanding. Each one, 24 hours a day, have provided genuine care and concern for Jimmys wellbeing. The are so very sympathetic when he is in pain and take swift action when the on-call doctor should be consulted. They are always attentive and make time to listen to Jimmy. We could not be happier with the level of care and competency from the nursing staff.

It's very clean. The rooms are like studio apartments. The staff is always working and they are up beat. I think the staff/ patient ratio is good, but it would be better if there were more staff, yet better here than some other places I've visited.

The staff at the Manor are some of the most caring, nicest and empathetic people I have ever met. They genuinely care about each individual resident and that top care really shows through in the smiles of the residents every single day.

I had a close family member stay at Morningside Manor. I still remember being some what scared and anxious about entering the facility. I didn't want to find sad, and unkept people waiting in the hallways. I was afraid of neon lights and dark rooms and nurses stations. I really was mostly afraid of the unknown. When I eventually visited my loved one, I found that her new home was warm, and welcoming. Not at all what I feared it would be. There is a large community of people who are part of another family. Friendly faces, who say hello to you, and want to know, "whose granddaughter are you?". A few lovely gardens to take advantage of. There were activities that the residents could choose to take part in. There wasn't one place where there wasn't an employee to ask of help from should anyone have a question, concern or need help. I'm so glad that the last months of her life was in a place where people cared for her around the clock. And where we were comfortable with.

The ONLY thing I have to say negative is the dietary staff could be a little nicer. They are not to approachable at all.
