Since my Mom has entered Morningside assisted living, she is very happy. She loves all her caretakers and has made great friendships with many of the residence. If my Mom is happy then I am happy. Special shout outs to Patty the events planner who has a heart of gold! She loves her residents and makes their life happy and fun. I can’t say enough about Irene and Jason who I think are the best RN’s I have encountered! Our family loves you and appreciate how you care for our Mom. Stella and Juanita are just a couple of aids that have excellent care. I can’t name all of you. Just know our family loves you all and pray God’s blessings on you all. You are all special to us because you love our Mother.

Morning Side has been a blessing to our family. Our mom loves the staff and they love her. She enjoys the people and activities. It has helped her blossom. Some of the staff members go above and Beyond to help the senior adults adjust and live a better lifestyle. We especially love Patty the activity coordinator and the fun activities. Jason and Irene are some of her favorite nurses.

Patty in Activities is absolutely fantastic! She does an incredible job engaging with residents and creating a warm, welcoming environment for everyone. Her energy is contagious, and she always finds creative and meaningful ways to keep residents involved, active, and smiling. Patty truly cares about each individual and makes an effort to connect with them on a personal level. Her kindness, patience, and enthusiasm shine through in everything she does. The activities she organizes are not only fun but also enriching and thoughtfully planned.

Morningside is a very good place to place your loved ones in. Patty and Te'a over the activities do a very good job with the residents entertaining them everyday with activities to do they are very helpful and nice ladies Miss Eloise the front reception lady she is so very nice sweet kind she always greeting with a smiling face

Great place! Patty does a great job taking the residents out to eat and having fun activities for them to participate in. She decorates the facility for all the different occasions and it always looks very festive.

This is my mom’s second facility. She is receiving the best care here! Jason is her favorite nurse! He treats her like family! Patty, the activities coordinator, keeps her active all day long! She’s never in her room! Best care in San Antonio!

Helped my parents move in here this past week. They moved into an independent living facility that is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath cottage with a patio in the back. It's roomier than I thought it would be, especially the bedrooms. Everybody here is really nice and friendly. The only problem are the paint fumes; they are really strong and can give you a headache, and its making my mom nauseated.

We could not be happier with the care our mother has received at The Meadows. She feels like they are family to her and describes the atmosphere as a big hug every day. Our family highly recommends this facility!

My husband has been at Morningside Manor for 4 years now. This has been such a blessing to have found this home. From the staff to the nurses to the home cooked meals to the rooms.... I cannot say enough good things. They truly CARE! A special thank you! to Gwen, Kathy and Mr. West.

It's very clean. The rooms are like studio apartments. The staff is always working and they are up beat. I think the staff/ patient ratio is good, but it would be better if there were more staff, yet better here than some other places I've visited.

i made a very simple request. a remote for mom's tv. four weeks later, still no remote, plus the tv tunes in only ONE channel. i informed 2 nurses while in mom's room and 2 nurses at the desk on separate occasions. i got the same answer all 4 times, with the same end result all 4 times. no remote!

The staff at the Manor are some of the most caring, nicest and empathetic people I have ever met. They genuinely care about each individual resident and that top care really shows through in the smiles of the residents every single day.

I had a close family member stay at Morningside Manor. I still remember being some what scared and anxious about entering the facility. I didn't want to find sad, and unkept people waiting in the hallways. I was afraid of neon lights and dark rooms and nurses stations. I really was mostly afraid of the unknown. When I eventually visited my loved one, I found that her new home was warm, and welcoming. Not at all what I feared it would be. There is a large community of people who are part of another family. Friendly faces, who say hello to you, and want to know, "whose granddaughter are you?". A few lovely gardens to take advantage of. There were activities that the residents could choose to take part in. There wasn't one place where there wasn't an employee to ask of help from should anyone have a question, concern or need help. I'm so glad that the last months of her life was in a place where people cared for her around the clock. And where we were comfortable with.

The ONLY thing I have to say negative is the dietary staff could be a little nicer. They are not to approachable at all.
