Formerly Grandevilla of Delray, the teams that we worked with since 2021 have been extremely kind and accommodating. We had an impossible task- grandchildren becoming in charge of grandma due to family issues. The teams treated us with kindness and helped us get the best place for Grandma to meet her needs. The level of care, amenities, on-site doctor visits and social activities were all excellent. She stayed in independent living for 2 years and assisted living for 1 year before her passing. I wanted to give my personal thanks to the teams for making Grandma feel at home in their facilities during her time there and for making an otherwise difficult situation easier.

my mom needed to go from assisted living to memory care. we looked at every facility in our price range. (approx. $6k/month). there are places more updated than The Heritage, but we never found any place better. the staff is so patient, so supportive and caring. there are activities everyday and the staff makes sure mom is always present. mom still likes to get her hair & nails done and they have someone who comes to does this professionally. they have various drs come to the facility which makes it so convenient. my sister and i see mom about 10x week between us. mom is always clean, well dressed and her room is also so clean. we couldn't be happier with our decision to have mom stay at THE HERITAGE AT DELRAY.

Grand Villa Delray West Memory Care rescued my 89 year old dad. It's true. My dad had been in a previous facility before I moved him to Grand Villa Delray West Memory Care. It's a beautiful community and a perfect place for my dad to call home. There is a phenomenal team of people who all work together to give the best of care! The staff has excellent communication with the family and providers. The superb staff is kind, educated, respectful, professional and warm. The facility inside and out is beautiful. This community is a gem.

My mom just moved in last week and I could not be happier with the service, communication , and caring attitude of Melanie and Tara. Melanie has kept in touch with me for almost 4 years when we first visited the Grand Villa after my dad passed. I really wanted my mom to move here, and it took all of this time till she realized she needed to make the Grand Villa her home. Tara was amazing. She kept me abreast of all moving procedures and explained what my mom needed for her apartment. She texted me regularly with pictures of my mom's apartment and furniture placement. My mother was made to feel like family, and after being extremely nervous, she is happy and realizes that the Grand Villa is the best place for her. I can''t thank the staff enough. My name is Michelle Karp. We moved my mother into Grand villa West in a very quick and speedy way she was renting and her landlord asked her to be out by January. My mother is 90 years old and in fabulous shape so we visited one or two other places and the staff and the people living there were so welcoming they invited my mother to lunch, and we sat down with Melanie and Tara and I can’t remember everybody’s name the gentleman that help you move in. I’ll have to come back and rewrite this but I just wanted to give them this five star review they were absolutely fabulous and more than welcoming welcoming welcoming so if you’re thinking about bringing your relative or parents here, it’s a wonderful place so far thank you so much.

Two months ago, she required hip surgery and rehab after falling and needed the support that such a community could provide. My mom is moving into Grand Villa shortly we met with Melanie Tara and Haley this morning to fill out paperwork and get a tour of a beautiful community. The three of them couldn't of been any sweeter, Warmer and welcoming to my mom and me. My mom lost my dad over a year ago and it has been very tough for her without him.I was looking for a community for her that was clean friendly and with a cozy feel so that she could feel comfortable now that she will be living in an apartment independently. Melanie Tara and Haley were just wonderful to her and put a smile on her face and now she is looking forward to moving into Grand Villa. We moved my mom to GV Memory Care Delray Beach -West three weeks ago. We know for sure we made the right decision. Mom has adjusted amazingly well and is happy. The staff has all been incredible. Kudos to Felecia and her team. Melanie and Haley were super accommodating throughout the move in process and Monique and Lisa are a breadth of fresh air. I also want to give a shout out to the maintenance guys who were so helpful in getting moms studio apartment set up. We (my brother, sister and myself) moved my Mom (now 102 years old, and acts like 75!) into the Gran Villa West on May 29th 2020. (Yes, in the midst of the Covid Pandemic!). My Mom, in spite of the fact that she is in terrific shape for her age, had gotten to a point where living alone was not any more the best option. We worked with Melanie Hochman throughout the entire process. (And for us, this was quite a process.) We had a ton of questions, a lot of uncertainty and many concerns about making this move during what is a truly a unique and historic time. Melanie was totally responsive to our every question and request. (Even responding to my emails at night and on the weekends.) She was able to offer us excellent and helpful advice each step of the way. Working with Melanie was a pleasure and that went a long way towards putting our minds at ease. As we got closer to move-in day, we also worked with Landy Cajuste . She was equally terrific in handling all of our requests (and we had many) and she exhibited the same compassion and concern as was demonstrated by Melanie. I was hopeful that the service we experienced and were afforded by these employees, would be representative of how the facility is run. And thankfully I was right. Now that my Mom has been there for about 6 months, I can say that she is quite happy with the Gran Villa West.

My Dad is 101 years old. He has been at Grand Villa West for several years. Since my brother and I live very far away, we rely on the hard work and excellent care from the staff and we are extremely happy with the care that our Dad receives. Dad is treated like family by all staff, from the Administration, to the nurses, the assistants, the maintenance staff and the practitioners. They are kind and compassionate and they listen to what he has to say. The Director of Patient Care in Assisted Living is a remarkable woman-Beth Rattner. She attends to all patient needs with great care, an amazingly positive spirit and her communication skills are incomparable. Kudos, also to Sophia Rich, the Executive Director. She keeps families informed with clarity and kindness. These are unprecedented times and we feel blessed and fortunate that Dad is being so welled cared for at Grand Villa.

My father has lived at Grand Villa West for 5 years now. He started In independent living and just recently moved to assisted living. Grand Villa is exceptionally well run. The grounds are beautiful and the common areas are immaculate and attractively decorated. My father has the same 1 bedroom layout in assisted living that he had in independent living. It is a spacious apartment with an excellent layout, big closets and very nice patio. The staff are very attentive and extremely helpful. The Executive Director, Sophia Rich, is a champion of excellence. She has a keen sense of what it takes to successfully operate this beautiful facility. Throughout the COVID -19 pandemic, Sophia and her staff have done an extraordinary job of keeping the residents safe and the families well informed via email, phone calls and videos. My father is extremely happy at Grand Villa. I live in New York and while its difficult being so far away, I have much peace of mind of mind knowing how well cared for my father is at Grand Villa. Grand Villa has been great before Covid but lately they are fabulous! My Mom, May G. is very happy at Grand Villa of Delray West. The noticeable difference at this facility is the staff! You should be very proud of your very caring and friendly staff ! This includes everyone from the leasing department to housekeeping, to care providers, maintenance staff , activities-recreation and office-administration. There are always many activities to participate in and make the most of every day. Being happy when having to move into an assisted living home during these senior years requires making the most of what you can still do. Once again, the staff is so positive and encouraging. Thank you for helping us feel at home and for taking the time to smile and ask how we are doing. We want to say thank you! I highlighted 5 stars for all the special staff that make the facility beautiful beyond the signs of physical wear on the older building. The assisted living area is in need (we hear this is planned in the future) of a face lift, to spiff it up on the surface, but please remember that beauty and quality come from the caring staff, not just brand new carpeting.

I have been a resident here for three years and this place is good for everybody! I made a lot of friends. They cook for me, do my laundry and bed what more can I ask for! Everyone has been so nice. I am moving across the state to be closer to my family during the pandemic and the only reason I agreed to it is because it is a Grand Villa property in Sarasota! I think if someone is alone and they dont drive, they should move here. Everyone who works here is always so kind and wonderful to me. I will miss everyone so much. I wish I could bring Godfrey (the maintenance technician) with me, he does everything so perfect for me. I wish I could refer more people because I know their life would get better if they lived here at Grand Villa.

Landy made the move so easy. Designed the apartment with my fathers furniture with a safe and beautiful flow. We walked in for the first time after the movers took are things and the apartment was unpacked, with pictures hung and bedspreads on. Couldn’t of asked for more. Neil our salesman, worked with us. Showed us how we could afford it and all the benefits that were available to us.Heather the Coordinator works closely with residence as well as family to make sure everyone feels at home. I visit frequently and Grand Villa is an incredible place. I have never seen such loving and caring care staff. You always see floor staff saying hello and hugging the residents. Workers and residents always seem happy. The food that I have tried is delicious. Management is always available to answer and concerns and they all truly care. Every time I walk in I feel like a part of their family, they know everyone’s name. On top of that, the grounds are gorgeous and the apartments are beautiful. Everyone there tries to make it the best experience possible for the families and residents. When it’s time for my parents, this is the only place I would feel comfortable moving them.

The systems the facility has in place for those with memory or cognitive impairment is truly state of the art. I have found the staff to be responsive not only to my father's needs, but to my calls and inquiries. Searching for an Assisted Living is a serious project. Once our search was complete, it was obvious that Grand Villa of Delray West was the clear choice for us. Now that we have moved in, we are more than pleased. Our Grand Villa experience has not just met our expectations, but exceeded them. The dining room staff make every effort to please the residents. The kitchen delivers good to Excellent food; their soups are superb, entrees varied and appealing. Their "Always Available" menu makes sure that you always have something to choose from that pleases your pallet. Once the serving staff learns your habits, they have your favorite soft drink or juice awaiting you at your table. I delight in seeing the Cleaning and Laundry staff arrive. The maintenance staff are available to help with every thing from furniture assembly to picture hanging in your apartment! The Wellness staff provide me with a sense of comfort and safety that dispels the anxiety I felt "at home". My husband's medication regime is no longer the anxiety -producing challenge its been for m for several years. His medication ordering and administration is now handled by the kind and qualified staff of the Wellness Center right here in my building at Grand Villa. In this HOME, I feel assured that I'm surrounded by people who come to work prepared to assure my husband and my comfort and safety. We love it here. We should have moved in here a year ago!

I have been looking for Assisted Living for my husband and I for a little while. I am so impressed with the staff at Grand Villa West, Delray Beach and how they have worked with us to define our needs, outline their various services and provide everything from our apartment floor plan with measurements, an associate to make a home visit and help us decide what furniture will fit in our unit. I provided this detailed floor plan to my furniture store decorator and she used it with her computer program to suggest pieces for me to back fill my existing furniture that I will bring with us. Grand Villa's maintenance staff will hang our ceiling fans at a nominal fee; give us the option of laminate flooring at a nominal charge, instead of their customary no-charge replacement of fresh living-area wall-to-wall. The maintenance department provides a given number of picture hangings at no charge! and additional at a reasonable charge. I am delighted at the ease with which Grand Villa West has assisted us with this transition. It seemed every question I had, Grand Villa had their excellent-solution-answer ready. It was an easy decision to choose Grand Villa West in Delray Beach.

My dad had a short but sweet stay at Grand Villa West - where, at 95, he met a nice girl (91!) and where everyone knew him. When I came to visit while he was in hospital, I stayed in his ALF apt and every day the staff greeted me as though we had known each other forever and asked about my father. The nursing staff are helpful, thoughtful, knowledgeable and visited my dad, as well as any other residents in hospital or rehab, every week, keeping track of them and continually updating their assessments and care plans. The administrative staff made themselves available to assist me w my concerns and questions whenever I needed and were always friendly, thoughtful and knowledgeable. The facility felt upbeat and there were always residents out and about. I would not hesitate to put a loved one who likes a more comfortable, homegrown, less fussy but w excellent care facility at Grand Villa West of Delray. PS if you ask nicely, they give you chocolate to help w the stress of your loved one’s changing lifestyle...! When I left there, I did, in fact, feel more like family than a visitor. My dad enjoyed his time there and felt well cared for. (He had medical changes and had to move to a more highly licensed facility). Thank you to everyone at Grand Villa West of Delray.
