My husband was there for a year. They almost killed him. His blood sugar was so high that he had to go to hostage for a year. Had to be in advanced care. His teeth were broken because he would fall to get meals. They said they weren't allowed to help someone off the floor. There is not an educationed person in the bunch. Food was a cold and sat for hours. Rooms were small and had to share dirty bathrooms

Who is visiting someone there. I heard that people were complaining about the food at the restaurant. That's why they decided to live there because there was a small restaurant there but they took it out because they couldn't get anyone to work there. For what I saw there should be a pool for them.

Parents moved in over seven years ago...couldn't be more happy with staff and facilities! Have been in independent apartment, assisted living, rehab and memory care. Each team jumped in to learn about them and get them whatever they needed. Impressed.

Visited friend. Was clean. Help came fairly quickly. Meals were a good variety.

It was a nice, clean, well kept facility. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is a great place to see your loved one heal. The only thing to improve on is have larger signs that are easier to see and read to know where to go.

I had never been here before. We had a meal and the service was very good. We attended as friends of the Gideons. The presentation was so educational and well attended. They freely give Bibles and New Testaments around the world. Now let me say a word about the steak. I've never had such a wonderful, tender, delicious steak in my life. It needed NO knife, as tender as butter, and SO yummy! Plenty of parking, easy access, clean, well lit. Worth the trip! Highly recommended!

My mother is here for rehab. She's not 100% sure this time around. They don't listen or tend to their patients in a timely fashion.

I've been a resident at Oakwood Village Prairie Ridge since the Grasslands independent living apartments were completed in July 2019. My wife and I couldn't be happier. We have a spacious apartment, beautiful views out our windows, a sizeable screened-in balcony, and upscale food that has grown to a 5-star restaurant and Bistro. The Prairie Rose Restaurant makes everything in-house. They have a full-time pastry chef. With appetizers like a Charcuterie Plate and Bruschetta, you can only imagine the taste of high-quality steaks, pork, chicken, fresh salmon, and more. There is a special every day. If you enjoy wine with lunch and dinner, they have an excellent selection. Our lunch and dinner desserts are all made in-house. Oakwood Village Prairie Ridge has so many activities every day that tenants get a 16-page monthly calendar with all event dates. You can join clubs, such as the Handyman's Club, which has a workroom with tools. But, best of all are the fantastic, friendly, caring employees, and so many tenants are our friends. Sometimes, being at Oakwood feels like getting a big hug.

My husband and I moved into Oakwood Village PR in June 2019. We live in one of the new "Grasslands" buildings and are so happy to be here. Lovely apartment, caring and excellent staff, many interesting and meaningful activities, friendly residents, many food options in the dining room and bistro. It's a great place to enjoy retirement!

My grandparents have lived here for about 4 years now. They absolutely love it. They like to describe it as living on a cruise ship. Oakwood has a dining room with a chef making fresh, quality meals that never disappoint. They have recently renovated, adding a bistro that serves soups, sandwiches, and other meals, as well as a salad bar. They also have a gym, general store, hair and nail salon, as well as other amenities. Oakwood has so much more to offer than I can type in this review. I strongly encourage anyone interested in getting a tour and checking the place out!
