I am an RN that visits Brookdale Conway. It’s not often that you can walk into a community and it look nice AND smell nice. The patients there are clean and well cared for. It has a warm and welcoming staff that is helpful!

This community has been an exceptional experience for our family. My mother is truly happy there, and the level of care provided is outstanding. My parents have lived at Brookdale Conway for nearly three years, and overall, it has been a very positive experience. While there were some staff changes in the first year, things eventually stabilized, and the care and support greatly improved. Mary, the activities director, is truly wonderful”she brings energy and joy to the community. Kristie, the nursing director, has been equally amazing”professional, compassionate, and attentive. The staff is caring, and the facility is clean and well-maintained. I’m grateful we placed our parents in a place where they were treated with dignity and kindness, especially in their final years. I would definitely recommend Brookdale Conway to others.

My father resided at this facility in the memory care unit for 5 months. During his time there, he was hospitalized for a fall as well as for seizures. Both of these situations could have been prevented had he been properly supervised and received the care he needed and deserved. While hospitalized, emergency staff found diabetic wounds all over his feet as well as bedsores on his body. My dad was in excruciating pain and needed not only pain management but also physical therapy as a result. Certain staff members as well as nurses from Vitas Hospice are responsible for gross neglect. This facility is managed extremely poorly. We were promised a certain monthly fee when Dad first moved in. Once he was further assessed by nursing staff and found to have more needs, Brookdale Conway more than doubled his care cost without telling us and then had the nerve to charge late fees on top of it. These accumulated as they thought it was appropriate to send bills to my dad, who no longer had the mental faculties to read or understand bills, instead of to me. But their financial manager has no issue harassing families for their monthly payments. There is also a revolving door of staff in the front office, which makes it very difficult to communicate needs and concerns. Please do not have your loved one reside in this place. It should be shut down for its fraudulent activity as well as its neglect of its residents.

My mother has been with Brookdale Conway since September of this year. She seems to like her new home. She is well taken care of and has many activities that help her be a part of the experience. My dad was also in this facility, except it was in memory care. Unfortunately he passed away while there. He too, was given great care. My mother feels close to my dad there. Another reason she wanted to be at this facility. The staff seem very helpful and kind. My mother has a lovely room and it is kept clean. I hope she continues to be happy in her new environment. It seems to be the place for her.

Visiting Brookdale was a very positive experience I noticed a very welcoming and family environment. I have been very hesitant in placing my mom into assisted living. Cedric and Trent helped me realize throughout the tour the need my mom has for extra care. I would be very comfortable in placing my mom here.

My mother, who is 94, has been a resident here for a year and a half. Although she would say There is no perfect place, Mom is well cared for and content. Brookdale Conway feels like home to her, which is all we could ask for! In each and every instance when we have had an issue, complaint or needed to get help, the administrator, Jeannie or nurses Annie or Dawn have addressed the situation to a satisfactory result. Most of the staff seem to really care about the people they care for and to most it’s not just a paycheck - this is key in elder care! The outdoor courtyard is one of the reasons we chose Brookdale Conway because Mom loves to be outdoors and this space is perfect for a safe little walk or porch sit. The food is good & she is a picky eater! She has made friends with her table mates even though they can’t always recall each others names, and she looks forward to meals. They offer a variety of social activities and although Mom doesn’t choose to participate a lot of times, they are available to her. She leaves her little apartment door open a bit, so she can see people pass by and visit when she likes. The cost is going up every year and this is difficult but she will stay there as long as able. Thanks to the staff at Brookdale Conway! We appreciate you! Treating our Mother with kindness and dignity means the world and acknowledging us as family that come and go frequently is important.

This is a homey place. My mother is my heart and this has been a very hard transition for both of us. I’m also very protective. We’ve had some bumps in the road, but we have worked them out. They are caring people and I couldn’t have picked a better place for her. I’m very thankful for everyone there.

We have been very happy with how Mom has adapted to Brookdale Memory Care Unit. She feels she is home and she is happy. The staff watches over Mom and sees to her health wise needs as well as through the activities that they plan for them. When we visit Mom she is usually with the girls "Her Friends" as she says and they are chatting away and happy. We couldn't leave if she wasn't happy and feels like she is home. We would highly recommend this Brookdale facility to anyone that is looking for a safe and caring setting for their loved one.

My Mother was in an awful memory care facility in Orlando for nearly one year and I was desperate to find a new residence for her. As I live in a different country, it was extremely difficult finding a new home for her to spend her final days. When I contacted Brookdale, exactly one year ago, Andreas answered each and every question I had and continued to sort any and all issues regarding my moms care as I finally decided to move my Mom into the facility this past April. Communication was fantastic from everyone at the facility. One of the nurses, Omayra, grew extremely close to my Mom and was always there for me when I wanted to FaceTime with her, as living so far away is gut wrenching. Unfortunately, my Mom passed away on 11/26 but Im very happy her last days were spent here as the care she was given in her final few months was top of the line! Thank You again everyone.

The staff is skilled and interact well with the residents they under their care. The food and entertainment is of good quality. Especially impressed with the warm spirit of the staff. Very personal and intimate care from everyone I met. I feel very good about this place and highly recommend it. Care giving is not an easy job, but they are excelling.

Just did a tour at this facility with a few ladies for a project we are working on. We toured with Phoenix he did a phenomenal job. He was able to answer our questions and greet us to amazing residents. The residents living space was comfortable and the interaction the residents have with one another was great. This is definitely a place I would recommend for any resident that is looking for assistance with daily living, independent living, and also memory care.
