My husband has been at Spring Hills since August 1, 2025. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt like we were at home. Katherine was very helpful with the whole process of getting my husband acclimated to his new Home and she never passes without a personal greeting. Her door is always open if I ever want to stop and chat The caregivers are always ready to help Steve with no questions asked. The Dining Room is bright and inviting. I've had several meals myself and the food and menu is consistently above average. A tossed salad is always on the menu. And everyone loves the desserts !! Angel joined the staff a month ago and has made the facility a personal challenge towards a better place to live. Angel has an open door policy with availability to talk whenever needed. There are many activities that Steve is involved with and enjoys. He likes his Chair Yoga class every morning at 10.00. He's also on the food committee and loves family night. Spring Hills has an extensive library that includes a few large print books. Steve and I always enjoy seating on the front porch by ourselves or with family and friends. Your family member will enjoy life at Spring Hills. It's a great place to live. Sincerely, Michele

Visited a friend at Spring Hill. Having been through this with my own Mom I was interested to see another facility. Spring Hill has a beautiful setting and as you enter the main room it is bright and inviting. The environment is clean, staff friendly and accommodating. The resident I visited was very happy there.

We highly recommend Spring Hill. It's very clean and the staff is wonderful. But most of all the staff in memory care makes this place so special.

My dad hasn't even moved in yet and I couldn't be more pleased. After what seemed to be an endless search for a place for dad, I found Catherine. Catherine was an angel who answered my prayers. She went above and beyond to help my family. We were in an enormous time crunch to get dad moved into memory care. I toured multiple facilities, and very few were willing to work with all of my father's needs. Most facilities were just sad. They looked dreary and they smelled bad. Not many places were nearly as clean as Spring Hill. And, although I have spoken with several other great representatives at other facilities, no one came close to the care I received by Catherine!! I met her after an exhausting week. I was at my wits end. Basically I was a train wreck. She treated me with an enormous amount of empathy and kindness. More so, she knew the ins and outs of every aspect of memory care. She went above and beyond to get my dad admitted. She stayed late on a Friday night to get the ball rolling. She convinced her administrator to go to the hospital on his day off to assess my dad. Then she stayed late to finalize all the paperwork. Most people would have just pushed it off until Monday. Most companies try to educate and train staff. What Catherine is can't be taught!! I think she is naturally a generous soul and a complete bad a$$ in her field! The world would be so much better if everyone could rise to her level!

Overall our experience since Dad has been there has been very good. The Executive Director Gene has been great! He's always walking around greeting the residents and families by name, checking in on them to see how they are doing and helps out whenever needed. The nursing staff for the most part is very caring, personable and compassionate, especially Danielle & Luz! Not a fan of the new Director of Resident Care -- Natacha. She is not friendly to the residents or the family members and she's not hands on with the residents like some of the previous Directors. Other staff members including front desk, maintenance and kitchen are all so friendly and make the community feel like home for the residents. The food is very good with a variety of healthy options for the residents to select from. Would recommend Spring Hills for you or your family members.

My Mother has been at Spring Hills Assisted living for three years and has thrived in this wonderful place. If you are looking for a place that feels like home for your parent, is small enough for them to navigate, and want a caring and attentive staff-this is it. The management and nursing staff are responsive and the aides and waitstaff are kind and supportive. We had my mother in a larger, newer, glitzier facility for a month or two prior to Springhills and it was just terrible for individualized care and socialization. I have such peace of mind with her here. She loves the food and the activities. I highly recommend it, especially for a loved one who has slowed down and needs a true homelike environment.

My father loves his new home here. Most of the staff are great. David is a server in the dining room and we absolutely love him. He makes sure the residents are ordering a well balanced diet. Luz is just wonderful. She is so sweet and caring with the residents. She is very in-tune to their needs. As a nurse myself and certified in Dementia care I want the best for my dad. We put a communication board up so we could communicate some of my dad's needs and everyone has been very great with it. One caregiver wrote that he needed deodorant, which was great. My sister and myself see my dad most everyday, so we can use the board to communicate with the staff and some of our wishes as family. My sister and I wash his clothes and bedding. We write it on the board when his sheets are changed as so the staff doesn't change it. Unfortunately one caregiver, Annette, just gives us push back with the board. She changed his sheets 2 days after I changed his bedding and my sister asked her if she looked at the board and she stated" I don't look a no board. We change the sheets on Monday." All the staff know we do this. She was yelling at my sister in front of my dad causing him anxiety and my sister had to raise her voice just to speak with her because she kept interrupting her. My da was so upset he soiled his pants and had to be changed. I was on the phone and heard the whole conversation and she was very unprofessional. I came up to the facility and asked her her name and then went into my dad's apartment and rewrote on the board that family will change sheets and he needs depends on during the day, which she argued why he needs the depends on at a different occasion. I came out and asked for her and she came out and I said that I would like to show her the board and what is written and she immediately started yelling at me and interrupting me. She stated," I don't need to look at a stupid board, that I go by what our books say." She was so loud my dad came out of his room and raised his hand to her to let her know not to do it. I told her that I wasn't going to argue with her and she said,"Then don't." I had to take my dad to his apartment and calm him down and call his guardian. The guardian stated that he would address it AGAIN, because he was just up there an hour before. So when I left I told her the guardian will be up her in awhile to address the board with her and her response was,"I don't care what he does, I ain't looking at no stupid board. And I can't believe you are a nurse. Your patients much hate you." I responded by saying,"Excuse me, my patients love me." She responded by saying, "You are nurse ratchet. Just get the hell out and leave." I was so shocked at her behavior and there was a resident in the hall, who is always there in his wheel chair and he was becoming flushed and upset. As I got into the elevator I apologized to him for having to witness that. She is a bully. This is not the first time she was rude and talking down to my sister and myself. Not to mention how she speaks to my dad, very belittling. My sister and I love the facility and the other staff are wonderful, but Annette bullies us quite often. I'm sorry I had to write this, but other family has mentioned her to me as well.

My mom passed this week, and I could be more pleased with how her care was during her last week. While this location had challenges in the past, the new Director, Gene and the new director of Nursing, Elizabeth have done an outstanding job turning it around. But what has remains constant over the years is the amazing care givers that took care of my mom, or welcomed me when I came in every week. From Michelle and Alina at the front desk, to Nurses Danielle, Crystal, Tiffany and Sophia in the early years, to LeJuana, Anita and Tanya. They truly cared what happened to my mom. They loved her and cared for her so well. There is a special place in heaven for them. Their job is not easy and their hearts were made perfectly for this role. These ladies, I will truly miss. But for those families that are still in their care, you have nothing to worry about. They will be a great advocate for you. Love and blessings to the workers there and to Gene and Elizabeth. You are on the right track. Your team was amazing to me and my mom in her final week and I couldn't be more grateful.

In the last 3 months the staff has almost completely changed. We used to get updates and had people used to return our calls and e-mails but not anymore. We have been to three meet the team nights in as many months. The executive and nurse director snicker and talk down to you. there isn't any empathy. We were hit with a surprise increase in care level and cost. It was never discussed with us, we saw it on our statement, which by the way, arrived late. When we moved in nurse Nadine kept us informed but she quit or got fired like everyone else. Same thing with the receptionists, all new faces. the nurses now tell us they're not allowed to discuss certain questions so we have to speak with Elizabeth who is rude and aggressive. They took away having a nurse in the late night which is part of why we moved in. It's a pretty place but looks can be deceiving. We learned the hard way.

We were so blessed to have found this place. They treated my Dad with love and respect, and I am sure he had to be one of their most difficult residents ever. Most of the staff members were absolutely wonderful, sweet, patient and kind to him. He was always clean and well taken care of. The facility is very clean, the food is amazing and there are so many activities during the day that the residents have the option to attend. I loved sitting out on the porch with my Dad. The staff made me feel welcome every time I came in the door. If I had anything negative to say at all, it would be the billing system, as our bill was incorrect literally every month my Dad was there and getting a returned call or email back always took multiple attempts reaching out usually without any response whatsoever. Other than that, they were above and beyond in every other way.

The Director of Nursing - Megan Trykowski is AMAZING! She really went over and above for my father who had issues, and was being difficult. She noticed a change in pattern and kept me informed constantly. She always had an answer and always had a plan. I cant say enough about her professionalism and bedside manner. Shes an asset to any organization that is serious about top level care for their patients or residents.

I visited my sister, Nola Holton, today at Spring Hills, Lake Mary, memory care unit. I am so pleased with my sisters state of mind and body today. I dont know the names of all of the people responsible for her care. Latifa or Sophia or Beth could be most responsible for Nola being happy there. I so greatly appreciate that her toe nails were cared for and that her hair was clean. Her state of mind was better also. Deepest thanks for those who care, Kay Story

While I dont have any family residents at Spring Hill, I do have a sweet friend and client. Over the last 30 days I have had the honor of visiting one of the residents at the Lake Mary home, and I have to say I couldnt be more impressed. My grandmother is at a memory care home in Indiana, and I wish with all my heart she was as well taken care of as the residents at SHLM. The front desk associates, the care nurses...everyone has been so attentive and you can tell their jobs are driven by the deepest of passions to love on our community of seniors. One team member in particular truly deserves a standing ovation: Roxy. You see, I am a realtor and when I was hired by family members of one of the residents they shared with me so many cards, care packages, sweet coloring pages and pencils that Roxy had personally sent to just check up on their grandmother - all prior to even being a resident. I was SO impressed - who does that sort of thing anymore? Furthermore, on my visits I have witnessed Roxy giving her whole heart to those who call SHLM home be it by words of encouragement, silly anecdotes to offer a laugh, or even a sweet treat or coffee to brighten someones day. She is honest, dedicated and oozes passion and respect and service. Every family member who is making a decision about who to trust deserves a Roxy and more importantly, every senior in every assisted living facility deserves to have a Roxy at the helm. Their final chapter will be better for it. Thank you to all at SHLM for caring for my new friend, their out of state family, and for all who have made this facility home.

Hi, Ladies. We want to thank you so much for all your efforts in making it possible for us to visit with Mom. She was in great spirits during each visit, and that was so encouraging for us. You all have done such an amazing job during this pandemic, and the residents of Springhills are very fortunate to have you caring for them. And the kindness and compassion you showed us was beyond our expectations! We thank you so much for everything! Barb and Mark

Spring Hill was recommended to me by many people, including EMS-Paramedics and community recommendations when my mom was hit by a car, suffering brain damage. Roxy, was the first person I spoke to. She guided me through my whole process of getting mom establishe . Due to Covid-19, she took me on a virtual tour of the facility. All the corridors, sitting-game room, and cafeteria looked clean (I know smell in Assisted Living is a big thing, but I cannot comment on that, as everything was virtual). Because of moms loss of vision, Roxy assured me that mom would have someone to take her to resterant style dining room to order off the menu. *they have vegitarian and healthy options.

Im in the process of trying to find a senior care facility for my mother. Its all rather overwhelming with all the different information and things to consider. Ive called several facilities and had gotten some piecemeal information from them. Today I called Spring Hills and talked to Roxy. She is amazing. She gave me lots of valuable info including contact info for the VA, etc as well as personal insights from her experience in the field. You can tell when someone really cares about trying to help you versus just doing enough to do their job. Im not a person who leaves a lot of reviews, but she was so super helpful I definitely felt it was deserved. If there was something above 5 stars I would give it in a heartbeat.

I am making this review based off the great care for my very loved in-law in their memory care unit. Our loved one is so well taken care of. And there is amazing staff there. One in particular, is their RN David, he is always polite knowledgeable, and so nice. He always answers our concerns, and if we ask him to do anything for us, he follows up immediately. From the girls at the front desk to the staff there it has been a great experience.

We moved Mom to Springhill in January 2019 from another local facility. Although the other facility where Mom had lived for 3.5 years is newer looking and looks very attractive, what is more important is the people who take care of your loved ones. The difference in staff at Springhill and the other facility is striking, Springhill overall has a more professional, caring, friendlier, accommodating, down to earth and attentive staff. We knew from the first moment that we walked into Springhill for a visit that this would be a good fit for Mom. Mom is 95 1/2 years old and is thriving at Springhill. She and we really enjoy and appreciate the unit in which she lives, it is so comfortable. The staff, the restaurant, the living area, the care and sense of being part of a community, not a facility, has been excellent for Mom and in turn for us, the children, as well. Better piece of mind for all of us. Thank you Springhill and staff!

I visit an old family friend (no pun intended) here weekly. The staff is very friendly and personable. They really seem to care about the residents. There are daily activities and entertainment. When I've gone to visit, they've had dancers and paino players come in, they've had word games going, and they even have a pool table upstairs. They have a bus that takes them on weekly outings to the grocery store (in case they want particular snacks) and shops. The courtyard in the center is very pretty and most of the residents seem to enjoy the front porch, which has both rocking chairs and stationary chairs. The rooms have their own thermostats so the residents can control the temperature of their room to their liking. Overall, I'm very happy that my "adopted grandmother" has somewhere nice that she's well looked after.

My parents were residents in the memory care unit at Springs Hills Lake Mary, starting in October 2013. My Dad passed away November 19, 2017, and my Mom passed away June 24, 2018. Although it was hard to watch my parents decline over the years from dementia, the staff at Spring Hills Lake Mary was beyond wonderful! They truly care about the residents and worked hard to make those difficult years happy for Mom and Dad! If you are looking for a place for a loved one, look no further. I highly recommend them!
