Reviews The Auberge at Missoula Valley

My dad moved in a few months ago and the staff handled the transition so well. Because dad is almost blind any transition is more difficult but everyone was so kind to him and really helped him adjust. He loves the food, the exercise classes for balance and strength, the movies at night and the music that they have had during many days. I recently went on a 10 day vacation and it was the first time in several years that I could relax knowing someone was there 24 hours if anything happened or if he fell. It was such a relief just being able to relax and know he is well cared for.

I'm giving a 5-star review. Is the place perfect? Of course not, neither am I. Who is? But it deserves more than a 3.9 rating. I found Auberge through A Place For Mom. My Mom is 94. She lived in her house for 54 years and it was time to transition. We set up a tour with Mom, my brother and myself. We found the place to be pleasant, light, interesting and friendly. Also, we were treated to lunch the day we toured. It was one of the most important items to check off—and it was delicious! It's now almost 2 months since Mom moved in and she loves it. While it was painful to leave behind 54 years of home, the wonderful and dedicated staff made the transition as smooth as possible. Fortunately my brother lives in Missoula, but I'm 2,000 miles away in Texas. I can sleep well at night knowing the staff of Auberge will continue to take excellent care of Mom. PS…there was a couple of times the staff went beyond the call of duty to help us and Mom. They know who they are and they have a special place in my heart.

ACTIVITIES ARE GOING ON ALL THE TIME AND I NOTICED RIGHT AWAY THE RESIDENTS ARE HAPPY. THAT SPEAKS VOLUMES. HAVE BEEN HERE NOW FOR 2 MONTHS AND VERY HAPPY. THE FRIENDLYNESS OF THE STAFF RUBS OFF ON THE RESIDENTS. GREAT PLACE.

The staff really does care about the residents. They go out of their way to help in so many ways - especially Rhea and Mary. There always seem to be something going on for activities, everything from crafts to football watching parties. Residents are always encourage to participate. Food is always important - Auberge does a good job of mixing up the menu.

The staff at the Auberge are amazing and caring people. I have had two parents - my mother-in-law and now my own father - who have resided at the Auberge. From tour to move in and until death, they treat the resident with respect and truly care. Knowing they are in such good hands is a comfort for the family. My dad raves about how great everyone and his living space is every time I see him. Thank you so much for all that you do. Greatly appreciate you.

My Mom has been living at the Auberge for 6 months now and it has been a wonderful fit for her. She has a lovely one bedroom apartment and has made it her home. She so enjoys the staff and they have helped her transition to her new life style. We know that she is safe and taking care of by an amazing group of caregivers. They treat the residents, staff, family, and friends with respect and they truly care. Thank you to all the staff for all you do for my Mom!

The employees are so caring and really seem to love their work!
March 2019
The residents there seem to love it. They have plenty of fun activities such as Bingo, Movie Nights, Root beer float days out on the patio, etc. The food here is also based around each residents dietary needs and wants. Each concern of the employees constantly revolves around making every resident comfortable, happy, and at home. The staff is incredible, they work hard each and every day to not only make sure the residents are getting their basic needs fulfilled, but also their emotional needs taken care of. I recommend any family to put their loved one in this assisted living facility because the people truly, whole heartedly care. 5-5 stars from me.

I work here and I absolutely love it. Each and every resident makes me smile wider than ever before. This is a job that I dont dread going to, but a job that doesnt even feel like a job. I go to work everyday excited to spend time with amazing residents and coworkers, and more importantly, excited to care for each resident. I think The Auberge at Missoula Valley would be a safe, loving, and family-based community that any family member should feel comfortable moving their loved one into. We have fun activities to keep the residents busy and social, and we have the best staff that puts each resident before themselves, every single day. This facility has moved me positively in more ways than one. Im very thankful to work and participate in a family such as the Auberge community.

I love Brookdale and would recommend it to anyone looking for a spot for their family member. Their staff is friendly and responsive, the facility is clean and welcoming, and there is a family-vibe about the place. I'm really grateful to Brookdale and their crew for the excellent work they do!
August 2018
My mom has been there for a year and absolutely loves it, I can see how it would be a hard place to work but the staff treats the residents absolutely wonderfully.
June 2018
My uncle lives there and is doing very well. He is involved in there residents club. He seems happy and well cared for. (I dont live there so dont feel right about number of stars, just going by my uncles experience.)
September 2017
Brookdale has been promoting the concept "Beauty is Ageless". I know this to be true. Beauty has little to do with physical attributes, but more with the heart and soul of humans.I watch an 80 year old man walk back and forth down the hallways, every day, pushing elderly women in wheelchairs to the dining room. I watch a woman leave her table to help a lost and confused woman to her own table, seating her, then pouring water and coffee for her. I see those who can walk often pushing those in wheelchairs. I see those who are cold and struggling with jackets or sweaters being assisted by those whose hands may work a bit better. One can see examples like these happening every hour."Beauty is Ageless" when it is seen in the compassion of the human heart, when it is seen in the selflessness of the human soul and that Beauty is even greater when it comes from those who are, themselves. suffering from physical infirmities."Beauty is Ageless"--I've seen it every day at Brookdale.--Ben Stensrud, resident since December 2015--
