I have experience working in Assisted Livings and as a caregiver. I moved a client here and I was very impressed. Most impressive was the care, adaptability, cleanliness and compassionate service. They go above and beyond for their residents and their families. If there are concerns, bring them up. They will address them. They establish a kind, understanding and safe space to bring up any concerns.

I had a wonderful and informative tour with Rebekah. She introduced me to staff and residents, showed me all the different floor plans and renovation upgrades coming soon. Rebekah took time from her day to answer all my questions and it is clear she loves being part of the Charter community. Overall, it was a very friendly and warm community of staff and residents.

The Director Rebekah Thomas is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! My experience is that she goes waaay above and beyond for the senior residents as well as their families. The staff are not only well qualified, but personable too. The facility is well equipped and immaculate. The care and services provided far outweigh the cost associated with fully assisted care. I gave 5 stars only because 10 wasn't an option.

So impressed with Charter Senior Living of Charlotte! Ty and Rebekah work so hard and are a complete pleasure to work with. The entire staff is friendly and compassionate and they go the extra mile to meet the needs of residents and family. They are literally always working on improving life there. Rebekah took all the time we needed to help navigate the process. The staff plans fun activities for the residents and the facility is clean and well maintained. You can tell they care about their residents. I can't say enough good things about Charter! It is the perfect place for my mother in law!

We met with Rebecca and Leif for over two hours on a Sunday afternoon regarding their memory care program. This was our second meeting. They were both knowledgeable as well as incredibly helpful and supportive of the decisions that we face in trying to help my sister. The facility was very nice, their care is tailored to each individual and they offer several interesting programs that may be particularly helpful to a person with memory issues. We liked everything that we saw or heard regarding Charter Senior Living.

My Mom had respite time there while our family went to Disney World! She loved it there! Her studio apartment was beautiful! Rebekah and all the staff made it easy for me to decide on this place as the top choice for Mom to stay at when we travel. It is very clean , well-kept , and with home-like living areas. The atmosphere is SO friendly due to the amazing staff. The meals are excellent! Mom enjoyed the sing-a-longs , bingo, and exercise therapy and wants to try the other activities and outings when she goes back again! She made new friends , and can't wait to return!

This home away from home is beautiful. Simply beautiful. I advise you to go and visit it is such a beautiful place located in a wonderful neighborhood.We had seen some nice places but the folks who work there are the reason we choose Charter. Rebekah Thomas who is the director will quickly assess your situation and address those concerns individually giving you clear understanding of not only your expectations but there expectations which will match yours for sure. If you are in this situation in life with a loved one do not miss a visit to Rebekah and her staff you will feel relieved that all be well.

I've never experienced, a more helpful, and family oriented facility. Rebecca, who is over Management/Admitting, has worked diligently, and compassionately, for my father. The facility is beautiful, and the residents, are happy and well cared for. I work, in one of our main hospital facility's. I've seen good care, and know what to expect. Your loved one, will definitely receive, love and care at Charter. They truly care about their residents, and their families.

About one month ago I toured the Charter Senior Living. I was greeted by a very friendly, knowledgeable and caring group. Special thanks to Rebekah and Ty. They answered all of my questions and made me feel at home. I gathered all of the information and proceeded to have my mother-in-law tour the available space. She is currently a resident at another facility and monthly rates were raised out of her reach, she did however want her space. Long story short her current facility negotiated the rate and she chose to stay. Not the choice I would have made for her. If you have a family member in need of assisted living please give these folks a call, they are the best!! Thank you so much especially Rebekah for all of your time and support.

We recently visited this facility for Assisted Living Care for a family member; and we were greeted by Rebekah Thomas, Ty Jones, and other staff personnel. These ladies and the various staff members were "awesome". Everyone was very nice and it was comforting to us to feel this. The outside and the inside of the facility was very appealing. Inside was clean, maintained and the model rooms we were shown were "nice" and they will be doing future renovations. We were pleased with our visit. Established facility with NEW ownership and leadership! I would have never considered it in prior years my mother! I am actually happy that I transitioned her away from the newer, " Taj Mahal" of Cotswold, Charlotte, NC...to a community more "like home"... and less like corporate! Clean, safe, engaging, and simple to maneuver amenities! Renovations are happening to update interior design and such, but it's not deterring my mothers experience whatsoever! Her apartment is fresh and gorgeous! And, the reality of the "gorgeous" is because of the STAFFteam Who are there to serve with respect and love!! This all starts with the top! Executive Director, Ty, and her team of leaders are unique! Instead of a hierarchy of "corporate" administrative team, this team is highly competent, mature, and working in environment that serve their purpose in this world!

Visited mom today and met some of the incredible staff. Executive director Tyvonder Jones is a brilliant woman and answered all my questions. They have wonderful programs and my mom was having such a good time dancing. Sales & Marketing Director Rebekah Thomas was having a few dances with mom. It was great. I'm so glad mom is in such a place with a caring staff. They keep everyone entertained and busy with fun things to do.

The Social at Cotswold is a wonderful community. Ive had the opportunity to work with the leadership, Clinical team and various other staff. I find one characteristic across all roles, they strive for excellence with a caring focus on the residents. Briana and Willow are so easy to talk to and willing to help when families have questions about making The Social home for their loved one. Karen Gore, president has a true heart for the residents and is always looking for ways to support staff. You will definitely feel the dedication and care when you walk through the doors. I highly recommend this community.

Thank you! What a wonderful place. Had bad experience at local facility and moved mother in law here for a short term stay to get her strong again. Our hope is she can return home soon. Staff for the most part is friendly and helpful. Our initial visit was good and they answered all our questions.

Ive had the pleasure of working with the team at the Social for the last few years and their customer services is unmatched in the senior industry. From the first meeting with Briana, who is extremely helpful and knowledgeable, to working with Lydia and the clinical team; everyone is simply amazing. They have been creative, helpful, and always focused on their residents needs throughout the pandemic. We chose The Social at Cotswold, herein referred to as The Social, after being blown away by the sales representative, Chrissy, who was both personable and professional in her presentation on The Social and the care our mother would receive there. The Thrive organization (The Social is under their umbrella) provides Assisted Living care by building relationships, like a family, and the term Elder (which equates to respect) is used instead of Senior. Our mother was present and very much a part of the discussion, and we came away from this initial meeting with confident trust that our mother would be in good hands. We have had a longer than expected adjustment period, some of which we can attribute to a couple of hospital stays and subsequent health setbacks, but we are pleased that The Social has been responsive to whatever concerns we present and continue to make every effort to resolve issues that mostly revolve around response time, primarily on weekends when staff is reduced. Thankfully, the staff is very caring and we are comfortable with the care our mother receives. I have no problem recommending The Social as the right Assisted Living community for anyone not looking for perfection but expecting a continued effort for improvement.

My father in law has lived at a few different assisted living facilities. The Social At Cotswold is by far going the extra mile to ensure his care, safety and happiness. He can be somewhat particular and demanding BUT this is the first Assisted Living he has absolutely no complaints. The staff are not just conscience they are happy and truly care about the residents. This facility was a Brookdale but was taken over by Thrive late 2019. They have been fully engaged to ensure the safety of all residents during the Covid 19 outbreak and the communication from the facility and corporate has been outstanding! I would give them a 10 if I could. Oh and he says the food is outstanding!

My aunt lives at this community and loves it. The staff is very caring and she really loves the food, the activities and the maintenance man. She was at a different community prior to this and the staff was not very attentive. She loves her caregiver Ann as well. We are very glad we made the move here. Not a new facility but her previous community had all the bells and whistles and no where near the staff of the Social. Highly recommend

My stepmom loves brookdale cotswold. She has really improved since she has been there. All the staff and the nurses give her lots of attention and are always friendly and helpful. She loves the food too.

I am editing my review after having my father here for a few months. The quality of care has tapered off Many wonderful things to say about Brookdale Cotswold. The staff is friendly, caring and kind. The facility is clean and smells nice. My father feels cared for and safe. We have had a fantastic experience with Brookdale Cotswold to this point and have only positive comments!

I went just to help out and get to know some of the residents and that was one of the most life changing events in my life.The staff is so caring and gentle with some of the residents.Also the staff was just very welcoming with open arms. I had just the most fun.I was able do resident clustering and also learn a lot about their lives.Brooke dale is just absolutely a wonderful place.
