The place is beautiful and welcoming. While touring, the residents appeared happy and engaged, very social environment and lots of activities. Staff seemed happy to be there, as well. Very clean and great atmosphere... I asked during the tour... when could I move in? (but looking for loved one, I'm not quite 55 + yet)

my grandma is a resident here and her favorite part of living there getting to see Flo! She brings joy to everyone she visits! when Flo isn’t working, my grandma is anxiously waiting for her return! she socializes with everyone and makes a dreary place shine with happiness. I even look forward to seeing her when I visit! she asks about my kids and makes me feel so welcome. Flo is a 10/10 one of a kind. Harmony should be lucky to have an employee like her

Harmony at Five Forks gave my father exceptional care and effort getting him settled into his new apartment. I truly appreciate all the time and energy they dedicated to ensuring the transition was as smooth as possible, even going above and beyond to accommodate an earlier than expected arrival. They worked diligently, moving one resident out and helping my dad move in, all while ensuring that everyone’s needs were met with kindness and care. It’s clear that they are deeply committed to creating a welcoming and compassionate environment for all the residents. There’s a warm spirit that fills Five Forks. The interactions between staff and residents are genuinely heartwarming”there’s a true sense of respect and camaraderie, which brings comfort to both the families and the residents. It’s not often you find a place where that level of warmth and connection is so evident, and it means a great deal to me as a family member.

apartment excellent, staff very friendly and helpful. Dining room is below standard, food is acceptable, service slow and for last weeks have been eating with plastic utensils which are below McDonalds standards; due to a dishwasher problem which remains to be resolved

I highly recommend touring this facility if you or a loved one is in search of independent living, assisted living or memory care. From taking a tour, scheduling the move in, reviewing the care plan and caring for my mother, the staff couldn’t be better. Everyone is kind, understanding and helpful. My mother’s care has vastly improved. She’s loved, respected, cared for and understood in their memory care unit. Everyone works together to do what is best for the patient. Communication between the facility, hospice and family has been excellent. My mother is well cared for and content since making the move to Harmony at Five Forks. I highly recommend them!!

Harmony is the place to be for retirement!! Wonderful activities, food, the staff is outstanding, the administration and personnel are kind and awesome. They make you feel like family. The apartments are roomey and efficient and clean. A great experience for my family. I can't say enough good about Harmony.

The facility is great with lots of activities and day trips. My mother is a resident there and she really likes it. But, she has lost about 15 pounds because she is not able to eat the food there. Why does a facility that is this good serve meals that no one likes.

This facility should be more delivery friendly. This is my second instacart delivery here and the woman at the front is less than accommodating. Between 5 heavy bags, getting a mask, signing in and going to the 2nd floor instead of her suggesting a better place to park and delivery in the easiest way possible she puts a note on my car stating no parking here even though when I arrived there were two others cars parked up front. I wasn’t blocking the entrance as I parked on the curb before the entry way. No one wants to deliver to the customers at this facility because it is VERY VERY difficult especially when it’s a large heavy order and we don’t have a convenient space to unload.

The Harmony at Five Forks team is top notch. The food is amazing, which is hard to say about any senior community, and Adam Jennings and Patti Laugavitz are always warm and welcoming. I've yet to see a staff member seem grouchy!

I’m at complete disbelief and am saddened by the lack of compassion and understanding this facility had towards my grandfather. It lacked diversity and they didn’t give him a fighting chance. It’s hard getting someone adapt to a new environment with his condition(PICKS/FTD) especially since he was the only person of color there, but this facility evicted my grandfather because he “made too much noise” after only staying there for 2 weeks! In all fairness, if that’s their logical reason to why he deserved how he was treated, then the residents that called my family monkeys and the ones that walked in other people’s rooms need to go too. My family wasn’t even notified that there were complaints against my grandfather until we received a call from Patti and Martika stating that he had two weeks to comply otherwise he will have to leave the community. Apparently the complaints were from residents. Why were we not notified at the time of the incident? First and foremost, according to DHEC the verbal 2 week notice violates the standard 30 notice we were supposed to be given. We then received an email stating we had the 30 days to comply. Well that’s contradicting the phone call that was made to us stating that we only had two weeks and they only ordered him two weeks worth of medicine(not 30 days). They never said “let’s create a plan to see if this will improve his condition and if that doesn’t work we can look into other options.” My family panicked because my grandfather needs the help. We started looking for other facilities. He needed a facility that understands that he has a condition and actually tries to help him. He will make noise when he is nervous or he needs something. Where is the compassion and understanding for our loved one who is a father, a husband, a grandfather, a friend, a veteran? It disheartens me to realize that people will treat your loved one as if they don’t belong. We found a facility that would be able to accommodate my grandfather. During the moving out process we discovered bugs in his room at the Harmony and that in the two weeks he had been there, they never even washed his sheets (it still had stains and had the same folding creases it originally had when we took it out the packet)! When we tried to give the key back, it’s as if they put us off. Nobody wants to return our phone calls or give us a time to come drop off the key. The lack of professionalism and communication from the staff with complying to get his records transfer to the new facility, was frustrating and a horrible experience. Now instead of taking ownership of what they did to my family, they are placing blame on my father stating we didn’t give them a chance. I’ve read the email several times and no where did it state let’s discuss our options or let’s put him a plan to see if we can see improvement. My family did not deserve the treatment we were given for trying to help our loved one.

Moving Mom in to Harmony at Five Forks was an easy task. Kim, Derek and Patti met with me, answered my questions and got us all set up. Harmony is well maintained, the staff has been very accommodating and her place is spotless. Its good to know she is safe and sound ...and happy. Thanks Harmony!

We worked with Derek at Harmony at Five Forks. He went above and beyond to help make this work for our mom that has Alzheimer’s. I already have two of my friends mom’s that live in the retirement part of Harmony and they absolutely love it. Everyone that I have met have been so helpful and go out of their way to make us feel welcome. It is amazing place to visit and if you looking for a place for your loved one please take a look. And again I have to say Derek has worked so hard for us. And I can’t forget about Danielle. She is a wonderful and caring person that understands what we need. Thank you Derek and Danielle. I adore Adam Jennings and the staff at Harmony at Five Forks. My company Mobility City works hand in hand Harmony at Five Forks to provide repairs, rentals, and deliveries of wheelchairs, hospital beds, scooters, and rollators for their residents. Whenever a need arrises, they jump into action to make sure the resident has what is needed. Just today, a resident needed a break replaced on his wheelchair. The staff helped with scheduling and helping the resident in and out of his chair so we could preform the repair. You can not go wrong if you trust your loved ones to their care.

I have known Adam Jennings and the team at Harmony at Five Forks for several years. I have also worked closely with Adam on the Greenville Walk to End Alzheimer's. I can promise you that the team at Harmony take the happiness, safety, and well-being of their residents as their top priority. The residents at Harmony aren't residents, they are family. I have recently been going through a very trying time with my parents. My Dad is a stroke victim and my mother has been recently diagnosed with Dementia. I live in Maine and my parents live here in Simpsonville, SC. I got that call that mom went missing and so I immediately dropped everything and drove 17 hours straight down. Thankfully my mom was found but that was just the beginning. I have never had to deal with such an emotional and stressful time like this before. It seemed like everything was just falling apart. I worked so hard for 3 full weeks to figure out what the best situation would be best for my parents and nothing was going right. I was at the end of my rope with worry and the stress was just overwhelming but then I got a call from Derek Jefferies from Harmony at Five Forks, it was like a life line to pull me to safety. I only had a few days to make what I thought was the impossible to happen before needing to return home and my job before my work was no longer going to hold my position. Derek spoke to me and really understood what I was going through and asked me what my goals were. I layed it all out for him and he just got to work. I never thought that in just 3 days we would have been able to accomplish everything I needed to do in order to ensure my Mom's safety and my father's happiness. Derek and Danielle are Amazing!! The whole team there came together and made my parents feel like they were family and reminded them how important they are. It was a long 3 days with alot to do but the Harmony team made everything finally seem like it the impossible was actually possible. They were there at every step and with every question came a honest answer. Derek stayed late to help me fill out piles of paperwork and Danielle and her team made my mom feel comfortable and happy to be a part of something special. I haven't seen my mom so happy in years and my dad is going to get back the therapy he needs to use his arm and leg again. I can't say enough about how much the team at Harmony has helped me and my family through the most difficult time in our lives. I only wish I had found them sooner and this is the reason why I am writing this review. I know there is someone out there going through a very similar situation and if they read this I know it can save them from a lot of bad feelings, emotions, and confusion that goes along with dealing a major family crisis. Just start right at Harmony at Five Forks and they will take care of you like they did for me.

My Mother moved into Harmony at Five Forks 15 months ago and is extremely happy with her new home. It is a beautiful and clean facility, with wonderfully kind and attentive staff. The food is delicious, there are many activities and events to participate in and people really care and provide for anything my Mother may need help with. It is a huge relief to our family that Mom is safe and very happy!! Thank you for being the best community for Mom!

My Mom has made many new friends and the staff are most accommodating and friendly. We are thankful for The Harmony. Mom's apartment is very spacious with lots of closet space and it feels like home.

Harmony at Five Forks is a wonderful place! My father has lived there for over a year and it has been an excellent transition from living alone to still living independently. They have a busy activities calendar, including trips to restaurants, which keeps everyone busy and engaged. We looked at almost every independent living property in Greenville before choosing Harmony and have been very happy with our decision since the day he moved in. I highly recommend Harmony and cannot imagine a better living experience for him.

My mother lives in an independent apartment at Harmony. In the last two months since she moved in, she has made good friends with other residents. She feels she can rely on the staff there. They are all so willing to stop and talk or help. The meals are delicious and varied. Social opportunities are frequent often including entertainment. And most important to her family, she feels safe. The ambience is warm and welcoming. I could not be happier with my mother's lifestyle.

My mom just finished four weeks of respice care there, and she's now going into assisted living. I've been very impressed with all the people there. They're very friendly and helpful. The facilities are extremely nice. I ate lunch with my mom there one day and the food was outstanding. There are many activities for the residents, and everyone seems happy there. I would highly recommend checking this place out.
